• Complete Monster:
  • Jong-seok is the younger brother, and junior partner, of the crime lord Man-seok. While his icy older brother may care for his well-being, Jong-seok only cares about having as good a time as possible. Sent to recover drugs stolen by Jeon So-mi's mother, Jong-seok sadistically tortures her with a blow dryer and then kidnaps the mother and daughter, killing the woman to traffic her organs and having the girl brought into the brothers' drug ring, using children as runners. After he and Man-seok betray their former boss, Jong-seok sends their bloodthirsty mercenary Ramrowan to sadistically murder him and his remaining followers. When a little girl involved in their drug operation passes out, Jong-seok has her dragged off so her organs can be harvested and sold, as they have done to countless others. Jong-seok even uses his last moments alive to brag to Cha Tae-sik about how he has failed So-mi as badly as the Seok brothers have.
  • Oh Sang-man, aka "500", is the Seok brothers' wicked surgeon in their organ trafficking business. Having chosen his moniker to reflect his number of intended victims, 500 cuts up countless men, women, and even children for the Seoks, mocking one little girl for having killed her mother before planning to operate on her as well.
• He Can Really Act: Won Bin was highly praised by critics for his role as Tae-Sik. He previously played in drama or in comedy roles.
• Magnificent Bastard:
  • Cha Tae-sik, better known simply by "Mister", is a brilliant former covert operative for the South Korean Army. Befriending the young girl So-mi, Tae-sik becomes ferociously protective of her, outwitting and brutalizing both the police and criminals when So-mi is taken by the evil Man-seok and Jong-seok. Discovering the depths of the Seoks' organ trafficking operation involving children, Tae-sik proceeds to utterly decimate their empire, destroying their laboratory and killing Jong-seok before charging to Man-seok's hideout and slaughtering his guards, executing Man-seok himself even while shaken by the belief that So-mi was killed.
  • Lum Ramrowan is the taciturn and mysterious right-hand man to the brothers Man-seok and Jong-seok. An enforcer of their operation, Ramrowan assists in their rise to power and proves an exemplary opponent to Tae-sik when he seeks to recover the kidnapped So-mi. When given the order to send So-mi to the surgeon "500" to have her corneas harvested, Ramrowan instead kills 500 and passes his eyes as So-mi's to fool Man-seok and Tae-sik both, engaging the latter in a Duel to the Death before he can find So-mi is safe.
