Sonic Ops is a Sonic the Hedgehog Web Animation fan series by System509.
This story follows Sonic and his friends as they try to investigate the appearance of abnormal portals, one of which brings a young Mobian chipmunk named Sally Acorn.

Sally: (looking down) That line’s not as cool as you think it is. - Don't Wake the Sleeper: Shade approaches a sleeping Knuckles, who isn’t fazed when a Flicky pokes him. However, when she moved closer, he swiftly wakes up.
- Emergency Impersonation: Dusk, finding NICOLE in Shade's lab, pretends to be her when NICOLE meets her, unaware that she is Shade's identical twin.
- Punctuation Changes the Meaning: GUN Pilot and soldier Foxtrot 40/James thought his fellow pilot told him he couldn’t fly Sigma Alpha 4 with a broken leg, only for the pilot to rephrase, saying it’s ‘shouldn’t’ before James faints from the injuries.
- Naked on Arrival: Sally arrives without her vest or boots, but no one makes comments about it. She is later given clothes that once belonged to Vanilla.
- Is There a Doctor in the House?: Sonic brings Sally to Cream’s house, where she revitalises her with a healing dance. Sonic later brings in Tails after he was injured by Shade.
- Scare 'Em Straight: Vanilla the Rabbit does this to a cafeteria worker, who wouldn't serve chilli dogs to Sonic in Episode 4.
- The Worst Seat in the House: Sally discovers the Tornado only has one seat: The pilot's, before having been forced to hold onto the gunner position where Sonic normally is.
- Unwanted Rescue: Shade and the still unconscious Knuckles end up saved by Big the Cat, who soon took them away, ignoring Shade's protests.
- War Is Hell: Sally remembers how she and her universe’s Sonic defeated Robotnik, as well as his last words.
- Worrying for the Wrong Reason:
- Sonic frantically asks Cream to help Tails, despite him being perfectly fine in Episode 2.
- An elderly man asks Cream and Sally to help him rescue his son, only to find he is a young man and not fazed.
- Younger Than They Look: Topaz, despite her presumed middle aged appearance, is repeatedly called an old lady by Sonic and Rouge, which annoys her.
