Lacey's Wardrobe is a fangame by Veratrum available on Steam, based on the Fictional Video Game depicted in the first episode of Lacey Games. Like the source video, it is a dress-up game where you dress up Lacey to go to a picnic, the mall, and a date with a cute guy, choosing from a variety of outfits available.

But unlike the original episode, here you actually have the option of finding a different outcome if you figure out how, leading to more paths and five additional endings. Is there some way to save Lacey from the stalker?

Examples:

  • Adaptational Jerkass: Lacey, considering that she is willing to insult and disrespect a deceased "friend" by dressing her corpse in a very inappropriate outfit. This side of her is not hinted in the original episode.
  • Addressing the Player: Lacey herself talks to the player in the final section, asking them to quit the game so she can finally escape.
  • Big Bad: The stalker, as in the original episode, is out to kill and eat Lacey, and will continue to pursue her even if she manages to escape him the first time.
  • Creepy Doll: The doll in Lacey's room gets a Nightmare Face on the night of the all-red party.
  • Engrish: The game was developed by a Spanish speaker, and it has a few grammatical errors in the English translation, most notably using the word "FINAL" instead of "END" for the Multiple Endings.
  • Facial Horror: The funeral's attendants are depicted with swirled faces.
  • Last Disrespects: At the funeral, Lacey (who the narration notes really does not like the deceased) has the option to dress the corpse in a one-piece swimsuit as a final, spiteful goodbye before her descent into hell. Doing so gets her kicked out of the funeral, but also leads to the good end.
  • Multiple Endings: The game has six possible endings.
    • Final 1/6: The same ending as the original episode; the stalker eats Lacey alive.
    • Final 2/6: If Lacey accepts the strange gift, she gets attacked by the stalker.
    • Final 3/6: If Lacey takes too long dressing up for the all-red party, the stalker breaks through her window and eats her.
    • Final 4/6: If Lacey dresses up the corpse in anything but the swimsuit, she is allowed to stay at the funeral, then goes home and dies when her house burns down.
    • Bad End: If the player makes Lacey go on the picnic date with the stalker or otherwise keeps playing the game, Lacey will be forever trapped in an endless loop, unable to escape the game, and the good end becomes permanently unavailable.
    • Good End: If the player quits the game when prompted in the last section, Lacey is finally able to escape, rendering the game unplayable.
  • Not Quite the Right Thing: If you decide to be respectful at the funeral and give the deceased something nice to wear, Lacey is allowed to stay at the funeral a little longer, then goes back to her house where it suddenly burns down. If she instead puts her in a swimsuit, then she gets kicked out and can move on to the last two endings.
  • Off with His Head!: In the third ending, the stalker is seen eating Lacey's corpse, with her decapitated head rolling towards the camera.
  • Permanently Missable Content: You'll be locked out of ever getting the Good End if you go through the Bad End.
  • Precision F-Strike: When the day comes for Lacey to go to a funeral, the narration makes her dislike of the deceased clear when it says she will "say goodbye to that bitch one last time" in the only instance of profanity in the entire game.
  • Press X to Die: On the first day after Lacey survives the stalker, she gets a "person-shaped gift" delivered to her and you are asked if you want to receive it. Say yes and Lacey gets killed by the stalker.
  • Timed Mission: The dress-up section for the all-red party; if you take too long in clicking all the red clothes, the stalker breaks through the window and eats Lacey.
  • With Friends Like These...: The dead girl at the funeral is called both "Lacey's friend" and "that bitch" by the narration, and Lacey hates her enough to potentially dress her corpse in a skimpy one-piece swimsuit.
