- Billing Displacement: One of the posters adds Joan Sims, Andrew Ray, Lance Percival, and Jill Ireland to the list of stars.
- Completely Different Title:
- Argentina: Weak for the Weaker Sex.
- Hungary: Walk is the Age of Daffodils.
- Portugal: Nurse for all Service.
- Creator Backlash: Writer Norman Hudis looked down on the film compared to his earlier work, Carry On Nurse, as it had flopped due to tuberculosis still being a vicious killer in the UK at the time of release.
- Looping Lines: When John asks Henry if he's swallowed a dictionary, the audio has obviously been dubbed over as no one's mouth can be seen moving.
- Production Posse: Peter Rogers and Gerald Thomas reuse several actors from their Carry On... Series in this film, those being Kenneth Williams, Joan Sims, Jill Ireland, and Frank Forsyth.
- Recycled Script: The film ends with the patients leaving Lenton Sanatorium in a minibus and giving Nurse Catty a goodbye present, practically the same ending as Carry On, Sergeant (also written by Norman Hudis), only that was with National Service recruits, a barracks, a lorry, and a Sergeant.
- Working Title: Ring for Nurse.
