- Production Posse:
- Dustin Hoffman and Robin Williams, who were working with Executive Producer Steven Spielberg on Hook at the time, make cameo appearances as Milquetoast and The Kiwi (see Uncredited Role below)
- Joe Alaskey and Tress MacNeille, regular voice actors on Tiny Toon Adventures (also executive produced by Speilberg and co-produced by Amblin Television), appear as incidental characters in the special.
- The Other Marty: Sterling Holloway (a.k.a. Winnie the Pooh) was Berke's choice to be the voice of Opus. This was abruptly changed to Michael Bell without Berke's consent, which is one of the reasons he is not fond of this special. Granted, Holloway had retired from voice acting by the time this special was made.
- Uncredited Role:
- Milquetoast is voiced by Dustin Hoffman.
- The Kiwi is none other than Robin Williams.
