- Dandadan: Monkey Alien is based on Dr. Gori, as both are intelligent ape aliens. Goes to show that it's not just Mojo Jojo he inspired.
- Gekikou Kamen: Nebula Buddy is an Ultraman Copy with elements of Spectreman, like his name (Nebula is the satellite that gives Spectreman his orders).
- Ghastly Prince Enma: Burning Up: In Episode 6's Couch Gag, Enma is dressed as Spectreman and Yukiko-hime and Kappaeru are dressed as Dr. Gori and Karras from the same show.
- When Great Teacher Onizuka partakes in the 100-man wrestling competition, one of his nicknames is "Dr. Gori" amongst "Gigantor" and "Cyborg 009".
- Sentai School has a teacher called "Mr. Spectreman". 'Nuff said.
Films — Live Action
- In the Live-Action Adaptation of Cromartie High School, the evil space monkeys from Planet E show up in the last act.
- Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973): Jet Jaguar is based on Spectreman, down to the sharp golden head.
Western Animation
- Batman: The Brave and the Bold: The Bat-Manga segment in the episode "Batman's Strangest Cases", which was presented in-story as an episode of a Batman anime dubbed in English with the theme song somewhat inspired by that of the English dub of Spectreman, has Batman voiced by Corey Burton. Corey Burton was one of the actors involved in Spectreman's English dub.
- The Powerpuff Girls (1998): Craig McCracken revealed in an interview that Mojo Jojo was inspired by Dr. Gori.
