The campers have to take the most selfies with increasingly dangerous wild animals for the most points.

- The goose that beats up Bowie is one of the Stymphalian geese from Boney Island.
- Julia encounters the same raptor from "Jurassic Fart". It still holds a grudge against her, but she manages to get a selfie with it anyway.
- The challenge of having to take a selfie with a wild animal is similar to the second challenge from "My Way or Zimbabwe" from Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race.
- The Chew Toy: Bowie not only fails to get a single point, but he also gets beaten up by a goose. It ends up working out for him, as Emma's near-victory is ultimately what gets Priya and Millie to vote for her.
- Crocodile Tears: While trying to manipulate the other campers, Julia pretends to weep while recounting the events that led to the turtle's death, and briefly pauses to sneak a glance at Emma to gauge her reaction.
- Description Cut: "I'm sure the turtle's okay!" Cut to the elimination ceremony, which is also the turtle's funeral.
- Didn't Think This Through: The turtle stomps on Emma's hands while she's holding on to the branch they're both on. End result, it gets launched into the air and dies when it hits the ground.
- Friendship Trinket: Priya and Millie exchange friendship bracelets. Millie ends up sacrificing the one Priya gave her to keep a crocodile's mouth closed.
- Gasp!: When she notices nearby lions, Julia gasps in shock.
- Is This Thing Still On?: Chris reveals the location of the turtle that could make or break Emma or Julia's victory with an aside to Chef while the PA is on. It might have not been accidental.
- Metronomic Man Mashing: Priya suffers from this at the paws of a bear, giving Julia time to take a selfie with said bear.
- Palate Propping: Millie sacrifices her phone to keep a bear's jaws open while she saves Priya.
- Pinned to the Wall: The turtle uses a forking branch to pin Julia to a tree by her wrist.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: The turtle is small but effective at fighting with karate, which it's all too willing to use on anyone trying to take a selfie with it.
- Plot-Mandated Friendship Failure: Bowie struggles to avoid this, but ultimately explodes at Emma on how he's lost all respect for her after taking Chase back. Emma is similarly offended over how Bowie never liked Chase. Their alliance is over as a result.
- Post-Stress Overeating: Julia finds herself in the purple raptor's cave, where pizza boxes and soda cans are strewn everywhere.
- Psychotic Smirk: Before she tries making an alliance with Emma for her advantage, Julia makes a big evil-looking smile.
- This Looks Like a Job for Aquaman: Julia is far from incompetent, but a challenge based around talking selfies is something an influencer like herself would have a massive advantage in. Case in point, she's able to crop Priya and Millie out of her bear selfie with her arm, and nails her timing on the selfie with the turtle as it flies through the air. She ends up getting immunity with only Emma being real competition for her.
- Shout-Out: When Bowie notices the goose about to attack him after scaring off three of the animals he wanted to take a selfie with, he says "Clever girl".
- Tree Buchet: The turtle gets launched into the air when it forced Emma to let go of a branch that it's standing on.
- Would Hit a Girl: The turtle had no problem giving a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown to Julia and Emma when they were trying to take a selfie with it.
