This is it! After arming the A-M Bomb, Stepchild must now bring it where it belongs: the Gravity Well. But the area is well guarded, and not exactly by a bunch of foes, but a very dangerous one.

The overall objective of the unit is to use the A-M bomb in order to render the Gravity Well inoperable, then return to the Research Hangar and exit the planet. And, of course, destroy all the opposition.

This level shows examples of:

  • Adaptation Expansion: The 2023 remaster includes an additional objective after the player plants the A-M Bomb, where they must return to the antechamber containing the transport pod and activate it to complete the level.
  • Canon Discontinuity: The final cutscene implies that all (or at least part) of Stroggos is totally devastated by the A-M Bomb, and there are no human survivors left on the planet to evacuate. Needless to say, this isn't the case.
  • Cosmetic Award: Completing the unit in the 2023 remastered edition nets the "Anti-Gravity" achievement.
  • Creator Cameo: Much like the "Willits" Easter Egg in "Security Complex" and the "ZOR" egg in "Research Hangar", there's a pod with a trapped marine called "Wominal", after Won Choi, one of the devs of the pack.
  • Epic Fail: An unlucky marine got trapped inside of his drop pod after a drop failure and is asking for help. The dude managed to make it straight to the end of the game from the starting drop but got stuck because his pod was embedded inside a wall and couldn't open. Though he likely wouldn't have been able to do much without the A-M Bomb anyway (nor the massive arsenal of accumulated weapons needed to have a chance against the Black Widow Guardian).
  • Explosive Decompression: Go ahead, try to see what's at the end of those pitch black tunnels where you go to/came from....
  • Kaizo Trap: After defeating the Black Widow you have one last mission: plant the A-M Bomb so you can detonate the Gravity Well and most of Stroggos. Just beware of falling to the Well's electronics or the engines.
  • Kill Enemies to Open: You won't be able to reach the Gravity Well unless you put an end to the Widow Guardian.
  • Suspicious Video-Game Generosity: Before your fight with the Black Widow Guardian, you'll see a Body Armor, a Megahealth, and plenty of power-ups near the hole you need to go down in order to fight her. The fighting dome itself also has plenty of ammo, health and armor packs waiting to be picked up.
  • Timed Mission: Subverted. After you've placed the bomb, you're immediately taken to a cutscene. The 2023 remaster has you physically walk to a transport pod in order to escape, though again, no timer is present in spite of the loudly blaring alarms.
