This Issue contains examples of:

  • Arc Villain: Trentor Cormack, an employee of Ducklair Enterprises who has a bone to pick with Anymore Boring.
  • Bluff the Impostor: Inverted when Paperinik in Cormack's body is caught by Lyonard inside the Century, he mentions Astrongman to make Lyonard recognize him. It works.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: At first Trentor is hypnotized by Juniper into helping her spread terror and havoc across Duckburg. He recovers after accidentally uploading his entire conscience online.
  • Cover Innocent Eyes and Ears: When Donald tries to subdue a criminal dressed as a mall Santa, a shocked mother covers his son's eyes.
  • Cyberspace: Trentor uses it to commit his crimes under Juniper's orders. Later Paperinik is left stranded in it and has to avoid Everett's attempts to forcefully deleting him (beliving him to be a virus). It appears as a series of floating rocks linked by a series of luminous threads that he can use to move istantly from rock to rock.
  • The Dog Bites Back: Once Trentor uploades his conscience online, he's fred from Juniper's control and blackmails her into working for him so that he can have his revenge.
  • Evil All Along: This issue dissipates the ambiguity in the Ambiguously Evil trait of Juniper.
  • Feeling Their Age: A minor plot point: Mortimer is almost knocked out by a petty criminal. Using this point as an argument, he claims that it's time for him to retire and leave his place to one of the others.
  • Forced into Evil: Trentor may not be the most morally upstanding citizen of Duckburg, but judging from what we see, it's Juniper who's feeding his darker side.
  • Grand Theft Me: By using a special machine, Cormack can upload his conscience online and then use the machine to forcibly transfer his conscience into another body. He does this to PK, naming himself "Cormack-D" in the process. However, PK does the same to his body.
  • Hopeless with Tech: Juniper, appropriately enough, has trouble using tech. To the point of destroying the device she's failing to use correctly.
  • Identity Impersonator: In a minor plot, Korinna steals the identity of another person and wipes her memory.
  • Laser-Guided Amnesia: After resolving the conflict, Juniper clears Cormack's mind clear, so that he forgots everything about the incident.
  • The Man Behind the Man: Juniper is sabotaging Duckburg acting behind Trentor.
  • The Mind Is a Plaything of the Body: When Lyonard mentions that time Astrongman got turned into a canary, he says that he got better, though for two weeks he kept cleaning his beak on cuttlebones.
  • Noodle Incident: Lyonard mentions an incident where Astrongman was transformed in a canary. He managed to turn back to normal.
  • Pet the Dog: In the beginning, a nice trucked gives a passage to Korinna and wishes her good luck. For once, she wishes him well in return and doesn't harm him.
  • Pre-Asskicking One-Liner: The two cops who try to bully her, on the other hand...
Cop: "Do you think you can scare us?"
Korinna: "I do" (unleashes scare waves)
  • Shout-Out: The scene where the two cops stop Korinna is a homage to First Blood.
  • Tap on the Head: Mortimer is almost knocked out by a single punch on the head. This, combined with the fact that he got caught offguard so easily, makes him realize that it's time to retire.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Juniper pretends to be a victim to asks for PK's help into dealing with Trentor. Too bad she's an Asshole Victim.
