KO, Rad, and Enid have to think outside the box to defeat Mikayla, a new animalistic robot.
Tropes:
- Artistic License – Paleontology: Baby Teeth is apparently a Tyrannosaurus rex, but she's got three fingers instead of two. Of course, Tyrannosaurus aren't normally cat-sized either.
- Cursed with Awesome: Crinkly Wrinkly refers to his transformative bite as a curse, but the only real issues the Bodega trio take with it is the fleas (which they eventually get rid of).
- Cuteness Proximity: Rad and Enid are hit by this the minute they see K.O.'s animal form is a puppy.
- Cross-Referenced Titles: To "We've Got Pests".
- Didn't Think This Through: Enid, K.O., and Rad turn themselves into animal people to figure out how to beat Mikayla, but didn't consider how they'd turn back.
- Drop-In Character: Parodied; Dendy twice shows up inside Rad's van, and both times Rad tells her to stop breaking in.
- Just the Introduction to the Opposites: Potato, Mikayla, and several other characters are basically reverse furries—Funny Animals that like to dress in human costumes.
- Our Werebeasts Are Different: Being bitten by Crinkly Wrinkly transforms the Bodega crew into their inner animals. Enid is a rabbit, Rad a cat, and K.O. a puppy.
- Personality Powers: The trio's animal forms are the result of their personal traits, Enid became a rabbit partially because of her Kick Chick fighting style, Rad becomes a cat because he loves cats (though he says it's because he's so clean), and K.O. becomes a puppy because he's kind and loyal.
- Precious Puppy: K.O. turns into a were-puppy.
- Remember the New Guy?: K.O. says, apropos of nothing, that Baby Teeth, the miniature T. rex that is seemingly the Bodega's mascot, has been there the whole time.
- Snap Back: K.O., Enid, and Rad are still animal people at the episode's end, and seem uninterested in changing back because they got rid of the fleas and can wear (poorly fitting) costumes of their old selves. K.O. ends the episode saying it's great to be back to normal. "K.O's Video Channel" has a video of him putting on a costume of his normal self over his puppy form, and that costume makes him look completely human. Make of that what you will.
- Skewed Priorities: Enid and Rad would rather be animals for the rest of their lives then have Crinkly Wrinkly bite them again — until they get fleas, that is.
- Status Quo Is God: Played with. The Bodegamen don't change back to their normal forms by the end of the episode. Instead, from this point on they wear outfits that look like their original forms, which, outside of this episode, make them look exactly the same as before. However, the fact that they are animal people now is occasionally referenced throughout the series.
- You Didn't Ask: Dendy advised everyone on how to turn into animals, but didn't bother telling them that they couldn't change back.
