KO, Rad and Enid have to deal with tiny pests wreaking havoc in the bodega.
Tropes:
- Armor-Piercing Question: Enid manages to shut up the Cool Pests by asking them "Who are you when you're not cool?"
- Chirping Crickets: The tumbleweed variation is parodied; a tumbleweed appears to be rolling across the empty bodega, but then it grows legs and walks to the counter to ask for help.
- Everyone Has Standards: Enid is okay with the Cool Pests having fun, but starting a rave in the bodega was a tad too much. But it was them tipping over some shelves with the excuse of surfing on them, which would have seriously hurt people, that made Enid draw the line.
- Flash Forward: One occurs at the end, showing that the titular pests took Enid's words to heart and stopped worrying about being "cool"; Peej wrote a self-help book, Chill Cat became a optometrist, and Gnarleo got married and had a son.
- #HashtagForLaughs: Peej, one of the Cool Pests, has a habit of prefixing her statements with "hashtag".
- No Celebrities Were Harmed: Rad's failed attempt at impressing the "Cool Pests" ends with a wardrobe change, which bears an uncanny resemblance to Guy Fieri.
- Percussive Maintenance: When the microwave catches fire, Enid snaps her fingers and hits it to put it out.
- Popcorn on the Cob: How Enid makes popcorn. She snaps her fingers to signal the Corn Shepherd to send her an ear of corn, which she then blasts in midair with her boot.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Enid give these to the Cool Pests, calmly but firmly telling them that being cool isn’t about how you dress, how you talk, and the things you have. It’s about being yourself and finding out who you really are. It ends up giving them something to think about.
- Wild Teen Party: The pests call a crowd of people to Gar's Bodega and start a rave that completely overwhelms Rad and K.O.
