First half of the season finale. After starting to receive visions from her brief time on Earth-29, Naomi seeks the advice of her protectors. She goes on a road trip with Annabelle to discover more.
- Bad Liar: Anthony is terrible at pretending that him writing an article about the Superman incident is not about wanting to get closer to Naomi.
- Big Damn Heroes: Dee and Zumbado rescue Anthony and Lourdes from Julian.
- Deal with the Devil: Mac offers Dee information on his supposedly dead girlfriend Qyeala.
- "Eureka!" Moment: Lourdes and Anthony realize that Naomi has been acting strange since the Superman incident and decide to investigate it.
- The Faceless: The faces of Naomi's parents are not visible both in the Flashback, as well as in the present.
- Flashback: To Naomi's parents sending her away on her ship while they are being stalked by the Assassin.
- Implacable Man: The Assassin has been hunting Naomi since she was a baby. Slightly subverted however when he later runs away.
- Internal Reveal: Anthony and Lourdes find Naomi's rock and see Dee and Zumbado's powers. The learn that both them and Naomi are aliens.
- Kick the Dog: The Assassin causing a stroke on an innocent waiter who only told him not to take the tip money.
- Know When to Fold 'Em:
- Julian teleports away once Zumbado and Dee arrive on the scene.
- The Assassin bolts when Naomi resists his dagger, claiming that this is way above his paygrade.
- New Powers as the Plot Demands: Naomi develops Psychometry so that she gets visions of her past when she touches objects from Earth 29 like the vessel she was transported in as a baby. Later in the episode she develops invulnerability. The latter case, however, is downplayed, as previous episodes heavily implied, if not outright stated, that she was tougher than a normal human.
- No Name Given: The red-eyed villain is simply billed as "The Assassin".
- No-Sell The Assassin pulls out energy sai to kill Naomi but she's now nigh invulnerable.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Anthony notes how unusual it is for Naomi to isolate herself and not being interested in Superman-related stuff.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: The Assassin has glowing red eyes which he can apparently use to inflict pain on people.
- Shout-Out:
- Naomi quotes Jean-Paul Sartre.
- References to Jurassic Park and Lord of the Rings are made.
- The Stinger: Naomi's parents telling her daughter not to trust anybody.
- Survivor's Guilt: Akira blames herself for gaining powers during the tear, while everybody around her suffered. Jennifer is able to snap her out of it.
- Undying Loyalty: Annabelle stays at Naomi's side and even throws rocks at the Assassin during the latter's fight with her best friend.
- You Remind Me of X: Akira tells Naomi that she reminds her of Naomi's mom.
