POSTBOT 3000: Angus agrees to compete against Mayor Peeve's new POSTBOT in a mail-off to save the Middlemost Post.

"POSTBOT 3000" provides examples of:

  • A.I. Is a Crapshoot: The POSTBOT 3000 is a robot that Angus delivered to Mayor Peeve. At first, it's main purpose was to delivery the mail at a fast rate. Eventually, the robot started kicking Ryan into Old Stinkhole after fixing him.
  • The Bet: A mailoff between Angus and Mayor Peeve, in which the winner gets to keep the Middlemost Post.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Angus saved Ryan after he got stuck in the stinkhole.
  • Dance-Off: The POSTBOT 3000 does this with a Yellow Springs resident, in which it became stuck.
  • Kick the Dog: POSTBOT 3000 to Ryan
  • Let's Split Up, Gang!: The Middlemost Post's strategy where Angus delivers mail by himself in Red Ridge while Parker and Russell deliver mail in Purpleton.
  • Robotic Psychopath: What the POSTBOT 3000 ended up being once he admitted he kicked Ryan.
  • SkeleBot 9000: POSTBOT 3000
  • Your Mom: POSTBOT 3000 made this type of joke, much to the disgust of everyone.

Boom Goes the Cloud: Parker's anxiety escalates when the cloud appears to be the source of loud nightly thundering plaguing the town.

"Boom Goes the Cloud" provides examples of:

  • Acid Reflux Nightmare: Parker starts having bad dreams wherein he's an evil raincloud terrorizing the populace of Mount Middlemost, causing him to involuntarily unleash destructive thunderclaps in his sleep that wakes up the entire town. The bad dreams (and him constantly disturbing everyone's sleep) end up scaring Parker so badly that he almost leaves town until Angus talks him down, and they finally trace the dreams to an excessively sweet and fruity toast dish at The Middlemost Toast that Parker has been eating every day (the nightmares promptly stop the first night Parker goes without it).
  • Chekhov's Gun: The Frooty Tooty Toasty Cutie. Apparently, Parker kept ordering it at the Middlemost Toast that it caused him to become a raincloud in his sleep. It wasn't until the end that it was the one causing him the night booms (and everyone else passing gas).
  • Dark and Troubled Past: This is the first episode of the show revolving on Parker's former raincloud self.
  • Fartillery: One scene featured Parker farting in his thunderwear so long that everyone heard it in their sleep. And it turns out the frooty tooty tasty cutie caused everyone to pass gas.
  • Gilligan Cut: The episode features two moments of this trope.
Angus: "Parker, buddy, I'm sure you didn't disturbed a single soul."
(Cuts to the next day where everyone is tired)
Angus: "We'll straighten this out, kiddo. I never let you down before, have I?"
    Parker: "Well, no."
Angus: "Exactly. And I'm not about to start now. I got this!"
Angus: (cuts to Lily's store, sobbing) "I don't got this! The kid feels horrible and I don't know what to do!"
  • Mirror Scare: When Angus tries to convince Parker is just a nice sweet cloud with a mirror, Parker took one look at himself and the reflection becomes a raincloud.
  • Screams Like a Little Girl: First episode to have Angus doing this, which is a Running Gag for the show.
  • Sleep Deprivation: Everyone on Mt. Middlemost end up being sleepy because of Parker's night thunder.
  • Supering in Your Sleep
  • Underwear of Power: The thunderwear, which is used to protect anyone from thunder.
  • Vomit Indiscretion Shot: Parker pukes rainbow vomit in the end.
