Setchan: Previously on… Zenkaiger!
The Zenkaigers are kept on their toes by the familial bonds of the World Pirates!
No wonder some of them are starting to feel fed-up.
Huh? It looks like they're not the only ones feeling that way...

While feeling troubled over the positive attention the Goldtsuikers are receiving from everyone around them, Juran and Magine are caught in Katatsumuri Wald's trap, where everything moves at a slow snail's pace! Twokaizer comes in to save the day, but he gets trapped as well! The rest of the Zenkaigers must now work together with the Goldtsuikers to come up with a plan to save everyone!

Tropes

  • Chekhov's Gag: Despite being caught in Katatsumuri Wald's slowdown field, Zocks is still shown to be nonchalantly dancing and singing as usual, in slow-mo. Later on it was revealed he was actually using his Geardalinger's tambourine to plant targets all around him in mid-air in order to fire counter-blasts to protect himself from Katatsumuri Wald's attacks.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: TwokaiOh subjects Great Katatsumuri Wald to this, easily slashing through its attacks and shell before finally going in for the kill with little effort.
  • In-Universe Factoid Failure: Gear #13, Kousoku Sentai Turboranger, was used to provide Super-Speed to free everyone caught in Katatsumuri Wald's trap. Setchan questions if the Turborangers themselves even had such an ability. While the Turborangers didn't have such an ability in their own show, more modern appearances have depicted them (and other car-themed Sentai) with such ability.
  • Shield Bash: Stacy's robot, Battle Caesar Robo, send its shield into ZenkaiOh JuraGaon's face as Stacy engages Zenkaizer while Great Katatsumuri Wald fights TwokaiOh Cutanner.
  • The Worf Effect: ZenkaiOh JuraGaon gets subjected to this as Great Katatsumuri Wald manages to destroy its tail and claws with little effort. Of course, this get rectified with the debut of TwokaiOh Cuttaner shortly thereafter.
  • Why Don't You Just Shoot Him?: When Katatsumuri Wald reports to Barashitara that he has gotten two Zenkaigers and Twokaizer in his trap, Barashitara orders him to take the chance to immediately finish them off. Katatsumuri Wald tells him that there's no need to, as he is confident they are unable to escape, before being pushed to do so otherwise.
