Type LUPIN: ~Lupin, The Last Challenge~ is a Special DVD episode of Kamen Rider Drive released with an issue of the Televi-Kun magazine, featuring the return of Kamen Rider Lupin from Movie War Full Throttle.

  • Bonus Episode: Takes place in between episodes 42 and 43.
  • Continuity Nod: Gō reveals that during his Early-Bird Cameo in Movie War Full Throttle, he secretly installed a reboot program from the Mach Driver's Next System into the Drive Driver, allowing Mr. Belt to make his at-the-time Unexplained Recovery.
  • Evil Is Petty: Chase sums up Lupin as this when he hears of the other "challenges" that Shinnosuke has gotten in between Lupin's defeat and the last challenge. These "challenges" include stealing Shinnosuke's mini car toys and the milk candies that Kiriko gave him. Chase takes it back after learning of Lupin's sense of honour in death.
  • Monster of the Week: Roidmude 100, who was previously listed among the Roidmudes that had died off-screen in episode 43.
  • Mook Maker: 100 has inherited Lupin's ability to create numberless Roidmude foot soldiers.
  • Redemption Equals Death: Lupin aids Drive in taking down 100, but this costs him his life due to wounds sustained during the battle.
  • Something Only They Would Say: Or rather, something they would not say. Shinnosuke easily sees through 100's disguise because 100 kept referring to himself as "Kamen Rider Lupin", whereas the real Lupin sees Shinnosuke as a Worthy Opponent and conceded the title of "Kamen Rider" to him after his defeat.
  • Troll: Lupin's previous challenges prior to the final one show him to be this, taking items from Shinnosuke and taunting him about the mild inconvenience of losing them.
  • Unexplained Recovery: It is never revealed how Lupin was able to assume a physical Roidmude body again despite him last being seen as a pseudo-Roidmude Core in a Viral Core projecting a hologram of him.

The Roidmude Count: 26
