Finn and Jake are unable to move, thanks to a lonely Ice King who's desperate to "bond" with them.
"Still" contains examples of:
- And I Must Scream: Finn, Jake and Ice King end up all paralysed from the neck down, courtesy of Gunter. Hopefully the potion wore off, rather than the ending being explained by Negative Continuity.
- Bottle Episode: The episode takes place almost entirely in Finn and Jake's tree-house.
- Dance Party Ending: After breaking the bottle of Unfreezing Potion A, Gunter dances to rave music, and then the episode abruptly stops.
- Disability Superpower: Finn's paralysis boosts his psi powers, allowing him to summon animals via the astral plane.
- Fan Disservice: The actual and threatened demonstrations of what Ice King actually looks like under his robes.
- For the Evulz: Gunter breaks jars just to spite Jake and Ice King.
- Heart Is an Awesome Power: Finn is initially disappointed when he discovers that he summoned butterflies, only for them to turn out to be quite tough.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Ice King is left paralyzed by his own freezing potion since Gunter destroyed the antidote.
- I Just Want to Have Friends: The Ice King goes to crazier lengths than ever before to try to force Finn and Jake to make friends with him.
- I Just Want to Be You: Ice King trying to transform himself into Finn. Creepy.
- Immediate Self-Contradiction:Finn: What did you do to us, Ice King?!
Ice King: Whoa, whoa. I didn't do anything to you, 'kay? C'mon, guys, I'm your friend.
Jake: So why can't we move?!
Ice King: Oh, because I froze you. - Lethal Chef: Jake is actually quite happy for the Ice King to make them omelettes, until the Ice King explains that he'll put his foot into it to help them "bond".
- No Ending: The episode ends with Finn, Jake, and Ice King paralyzed in the kitchen floor, while Gunter destroys the potion that can cure them and does a "victory dance".
- "No. Just… No" Reaction: Jake lets out a horrified string of "No"s when the Ice King offers to "dress like Jake" by taking his clothes off.
- Shout-Out: Ice King's artful black-and-white photograph of Gunter's body parts are an homage to the photography style of Robert Mapplethorpe.
- Synchronized Swarming: Finn is able to mentally command a swarm of butterflies to form a hand in order to slap around the Ice King.
