  • Freeza refuses to be anybody but himself, as Cell learns the hard way. When he chokes Cell out, the music definitely amplifies how unsettling Freeza is as he chokes Cell with his tail, and shows that there is a damn good reason that TFS put Freeza at the number one spot on their list of villains. LittleKuriboh has not lost his touch one bit.
Cell: If it's that easy [to get out of Hell], why the here are you still here?
Freeza: You see, Perfect Cell, it's because... (grabs Cell by the neck with his tail) ...I know who I f*cking am. I'm a child-killing, people-enslaving galactic tyrant. And I'd rather die a million more times before I ever pretend otherwise.
    • He follows this up by snapping Cell's neck with an incredibly meaty crunching noise, before leaving him with this chilling line.
Freeza: Welcome to the Home for Infinite Losers, loser.
  • In the middle of the sharing circle, Cell starts to agitate and provoke Freeza as payback for the previous day. As the two start to verbally claw at each other's throats, everyone else becomes more and more frightened by their fight, especially since the rest of the MCMs once worked for Freeza (sans Guru, who isn't physically present), and know what he's like when he's angry.
  • Cell hasn't lost his touch in the Break Them by Talking department despite literally going to hell - as shown when he begins to outline for Freeza just what will happen if he tells the rest that Freeza didn't die to Goku - not even to someone tangentially related to him - but to Trunks, Vegeta's offspring. The thought of losing his respect in hell is making Freeza of all people crap his metaphorical pants.
  • While it's also Played for Laughs, Ginyu has committed enough atrocities that even Yemma is disgusted by his track record. Even if he does mistake the current frog incarnation of him for the original, it genuinely makes you wonder how bad Ginyu must have been as his original self.
  • We get to hear Captain Ginyu's soul get put through the soul scrubber. It's surprisingly chilling. Even more chilling is the fact that, now that his soul has essentially been cleansed and reset, he really is gone, possibly making him the first character to truly be Deader than Dead.
  • The sight of Super Kami Guru unhinging his jaw like a snake and vomiting up Frog!Ginyu, who he had been keeping inside his stomach for Cell's frog-napping. It's a drawn-out scene, complete with disturbing retching noises as Frog!Ginyu emerges from his mouth covered in Guru's digestive fluids and sobbing and shaking in terror.
    • It also implies that Guru is capable of swallowing human-sized beings whole, which is really unsettling in itself.
    • Freeza eventually climbs into Guru's mouth when he visits the garage and mentions finding bodies in there (which makes Frog!Ginyu's traumatized reaction even darker, since he was trapped with them).
  • "Winter" in the HFIL cul-de-sac has the place coated in a chilly white substance that isn't snow. It's run-off from the Soul-Scrubber, meaning that periodically, HFIL is coated in condensed mortal suffering. Guldo catches a flake on his tongue and it lets out a high-pitched scream. The Ginyu Force make a snow-Ginyu out of it, and it proceeds to turn toward the screen with glowing green eyes and beg for death while in audible pain.
    Snow Ginyu: (agonized) EEEEEEEND MEEEEEEE!
