The They're All Girlfriends AU (also referred to as T.A.G) is a Heathers Alternate Universe fic series written by sirfret. Things go a little differently after the first Remington party, and eventually Veronica Sawyer ends up dating all three of the Heathers.

- Abandon the Disabled: Heather Mc Namara's mom.
- Alpha Bitch: Heather Chandler starts the series with Westerburg under her undisputed rule, but later becomes more of a lovable alpha bitch instead.
- Blaming the Victim: Heather Chandler's parents after her rape.
- Boyfriend Bluff: JD gets harassed for looking queer, so Heather Chandler pulls this in hopes that it will protect him from harassment.
- The Beard: Kurt and Ram function as unintentional beards several times, being the go-to for dates when the Heathers or Veronica want to prove they're actually straight.
- Cast Full of Gay: Every main character is queer in some way, ranging from trans to ace to bi and so on.
- Coming-of-Age Queer Romance: The poly Heathers/Veronica relationship, as well as Martha/Betty later.
- Coming-Out Story: Specifically How Can You Be So Sure?, which deals with Chandler coming out to her parents, and the end of Not Five Minutes to Spare regarding Duke.
- Dating Catwoman: Given Veronica starts out as frenemies at best with the Heathers, this trope is in full effect. Also used for Duke/Chandler, and a platonic version is used for JD and Chandler later.
- Defecting for Love: A less literal example, but Heather Chandler in particular (as well as the other Heathers) get significantly nicer after Veronica starts dating them. Heather Chandler in particular commits to this full-tilt after Ms. Fleming's Week.
- Date Rape: Heather Chandler's backstory.
- Date Rape Averted: Rosebush has this as its main plot. Additionally, there's a roofie attempt in Change of Plan.
- Gendered Insult: Most notably against Duke for being trans and McNamara when she tries to join the soccer team.
- Internatlized Categorism: Many characters have internalized queerphobia of various types, including internalized homophobia, transphobia, aphobia, and so on.
- Intersex Tribulations: Some of Heather Duke's issues stem from this.
- Laxative Prank: Used against the bad guys during Losing All Your Senses.
- Lovable Alpha Bitch: Heather Chandler becomes one as she gets closer to Veronica, and Heather Duke softens as well, though not to quite as much of an extent.
- Love Triangle: Mc Namara, Veronica, and Chandler during the The Sun that Shines at Night through Kiss and Make Up arc.
- My Girl Is a Slut: Often regarding Heather Chandler. David especially has this view.
- Parental Abandonment: Again, Heather Mc Namara's mom.
- Promiscuity after Rape: Much of Heather Chandler's behavior pre-fic can be explained by this.
- Rape as Backstory: Heather Chandler's backstory is an example of this. How it affects her is explored throughout a number of fics, especially her PTSD.
- Really Gets Around: An in-universe example, where this is often used to describe Chandler by others.
- Secret Relationship: Every inter-Heathers (& Veronica) relationship is this in order to avoid homophobia, except for some of their friends who are also queer. Originally the relationships are kept secret from their parents as well, until Heather Chandler uses Veronica to come out to her parents.
- Slipping a Mickey: An attempted roofie occurs in Change of Plan.
- Slut-Shaming: Lots of this, a particularly egregious example being Heather Chandler's parents after her rape.
- Trans Tribulations: A major component of the post-Not Five Minutes to Spare arc, applied in a more general sense to trans kids at Westerburg at large and more specifically to Heather Duke.
- Virgin-Shaming: Shown to have happened to Heather Duke pre-fic in flashbacks.
