Waise beyond his years.

Waise Lee Chi-hung (李子雄, born 19 December 1959 in Hong Kong) is an actor best-known for his roles in Heroic Bloodshed films as villains, notably as Shing from the first A Better Tomorrow and Paul in Bullet in the Head.

An alumni from TVB's Artist Training Academy (Class of 1982), alongside Tony Leung Chiu-wai (which he co-stars in a few films, including the aforementioned Bullet and The Royal Scoundrel), Eddie Cheung and Francis Ng, Waise started his career in Tsui Hark's Film Workshop Co., Ltd., appearing in commercials and TV series, until showing up in A Better Tomorrow. His performance as Shing, the Big Bad, made him famous as a villain actor, and a favorite choice to appear in Heroic Bloodshed cinema. Most of his films are modern-day gangster or triad films, although he occasionally stars in some period pieces (such as the second A Chinese Ghost Story film).

Waise is married to mainland Chinese actress Wang Ya-qi, with whom he had two sons, born 24 years apart (in 1994 and 2018). He's also the adoptive father of an Ethiopian girl.

Oddly enough, Waise is regarded as the George W. Bush of Hong Kong, due to having an uncanny resemblance between the two.
