
Louis Sachar (pronounced "sacker") is an American author of children's books. He is best known for Holes and the Wayside School series.
He also wrote There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom; a sequel to Holes, Small Steps; and the screenplay for the film adaptation of Holes.
