Bazelevs is a US-based film production company, originally founded in 1991 by Timur Bekmambetov in Russia.

Beginning in the 90s as a small, Russian-based indie studio, they produced works like commercials and remake of a Roger Corman film, before branching out to VFX work and animation coproduction in the mid 2000s. In 2008, they partnered with Spyglass Media Group, with Bekmambetov personally directing the film adaptation of Film/Wanted, with Bazelevs providing the majority of the film's visual effects.

In the 2010s, they began experimenting with genre films using alternative formats, such as the Sci Fi action film Hardcore Henry, which was filmed entirely from a First-Person Shooter perspective, and the horror film Unfriended, filmed almost entirely on a laptop screen.

Following the success of Unfriended, they began releasing films in a similar format, which they dubbed "Screenlife", but which were not solely horror films, but a mixture of different genres.
