Alexander Ross Winter (born July 17, 1965) is a British-American actor, director and screenwriter. He is most well-known for playing Bill S. Preston in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. He also co-wrote, co-directed and starred in the film Freaked and played Marko in The Lost Boys. His directorial career includes various TV movies based on Ben 10, music videos and documentaries about Napster, the Panama Papers and Frank Zappa. Winter will be reprising his role of Bill in the upcoming Bill & Ted Face the Music.
