Main Characters

    Rupert

A man who has a fondness of cats. He finds Mino on the street and lets her live with him

    Mino

A calico who lives with Rupert as a housecat.

  • Berserk Button: As demonstrated in "The Princess and the Dog", the idea of Rupert getting a dog is a big one for Mino to the point where after having a dream about dog people with Rupert adopting one, she angrily wakes him up to warn him not to.
  • Cats Are Magic: Mino is able to see the ghost of a mouse that is haunting a pinball machine that Rupert found.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Zigzagged. Mino is perfectly fine with Rupert interacting with human girls, but she becomes hostile when he interacts with another cat girl.
  • Furry Reminder: Out of all the cats that appear in the comic, Mino tends to act the most like a housecat as she enjoys ripping furniture, has a huge disdain for dogs, frequently sleeps on Rupert's face, and plays in the clothes hamper.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Mino frequently makes some rather suggestive poses during some of her antics. She also doesn't tend to wear much.
  • Verbal Tic: Goro

Supporting Characters

    Patchouli

A stray black cat whom Mino befriends.

  • Embarrassing Nickname: Mino frequently forgets his name and opts to simply call him Bob, much to Patchouli's annoyance.

    Jack

A German cat who runs a cleaning business.

  • Gratuitous German: Jack is a cat who frequently speaks in German to where it is often translated.

    Walter

Jack's partner. He often looks for easy ways out of things.

  • Casanova Wannabe: He believes himself to be a lady's man and even thinks Mino is into him when she starts sniffing him when she realizes he is related to the cat that Rupert had been seeing.
  • Lazy Bum: Walter isn't the most active cat out there. Jack often has to get him to work.
  • The Pig-Pen: On top of being lazy, Walter also isn't that well groomed. His stench is enough to get Mino to notice.

    Mister

A young kitten with one eye.

  • Cheerful Child: Mister is but a kitten, yet he is often shown to be very upbeat.
  • Cute Kitten: Mister is a young and precious little kitten.

    Berta

Rupert's sister who frequently gets into trouble.

  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: In contrast to the responsibility that Rupert does his best to maintain, Berta is an absolute troublemaker who constantly gets on her mom's nerves.
  • Shipper on Deck: Berta is among those who actually want Rupert and Mino to hook up to where she actually berates Rupert for not going the next level when she believes his concern is about their mother, telling him not to let their mom decide his relationships.

    Viola

A popular cat diva whom Rupert is a fan of, yet Mino absolutely hates.

  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: She is an extremely popular cat with loads of adoring fans whom she shows appreciation to. When presented somebody who doesn't like her though, she shows how nasty she actually is by goading them into a challenge they have no hope of winning.
  • Break the Haughty: Viola is absolutely sassy for the most part and even uncaring with how popular Mino gets. The moment her tail loses its fur though, she loses all will to fight Mino's boasts and even believes it doesn't matter if Mino publicly exposes her situation, which causes Mino to go from agitated to concerned for her.
  • Bullying a Dragon: While Viola definitely acts unpleasant to her, Mino should have known better than to talk smack to her in front of her fans, much less challenge her to a bet that she would be unlikely to win.
  • Foil: For Mino. Whereas Mino is a housecat who has a deep bond with Rupert and friends whom she genuinely cares for, Viola is an Attention Whore who mocks Mino in front of her own fans and manipulates Mino into making a bet to go out on a private date with Rupert whom she never even bothers to get the name of right.
  • Malicious Misnaming: Viola doesn't even bother to get Rupert's name right no matter how hard Mino tries to correct her.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Even moreso than Mino as while Mino does fanservice without thinking, Viola absolutely uses her beauty to attract attention.
