Main Characters

    Caroll
A wolf boy who escaped an educational institution because he didn't want to go vegan. Now craving meat, he stumbles upon Marcia and follows her into the house with intent to eat her. But things don't go as planned, and now he finds himself her victim.
  • The Big Bad Wolf: He is modeled after the character, though he is more of an Anti-Hero and Jerk with a Heart of Gold.
  • Even Beggars Won't Choose It: He escaped the institution specifically so he could finally find some good food, but even then he refuses to eat Grace's unpalatable carrot cake.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He initially follows Marcia because he wants to eat her, and is generally rather rude. But his time in the house and Grace's mentorship does cause him to become nicer, and by the end he is willing to live with and care for Marcia.
  • Mugging the Monster: He followed Marcia into her house with the specific intention of eating her. Unfortunately for him, she injected him with anesthesia and put him to sleep so she could draw his blood, and now he finds himself a prisoner in her house.
  • Ship Tease: In the Bonus Room, you can ask him if he likes Marcia, to which he will blush and act flustered.

    Marcia
A bunny girl who lives with her adoptive grandmother, Grace, in the woods. Her parents died in the war, and Grace took her in, training her in the ways of medicine. Grace died long ago, and she has been looking to revive her ever since, turning to dark magic. She needs the blood of others to complete the ritual, and Caroll has just the right amount she needs.
  • Advancing Boss of Doom: Whenever she finds Caroll, she will chase after him.
  • Big Bad: As the one who imprisoned Caroll in her home.
  • Cute and Psycho: A cute, small bunny girl dressed like Little Red Riding Hood who also happens to be stealing blood for a dark ritual to revive her grandmother.
  • Enfant Terrible: Her youth does not make her any less of a threat to Caroll's life.
  • Hair-Raising Hare: An adorable bunny girl that it perfectly fine with draining Caroll's blood to use in a dark ritual.
  • Heel–Face Turn: In the true ending, Caroll helps her get over Grace's death, and she stops trying to revive her by taking people's blood, instead deciding to live her life with Caroll and be happy.
  • Love Makes You Evil: Her love for her adoptive grandmother Grace is what led her to steal people's blood to revive her after she died of an illness.
  • White Hair, Black Heart: She has white hair, as befitting her being a bunny girl, and kidnaps Caroll to take his blood and tries to kill him later. Downplayed as she is doing this in an attempt to revive her grandmother.
  • Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds: She lost her parents to the war and was found by Grace all tattered and alone. She finally found another home and had a happy life again, but when Grace fell ill and died, Marcia snapped and became willing to do anything to bring her back, even take people's blood by force.

    Grace
The woman who owns the house in the forest. An accomplished doctor, she took in Marcia after seeing her during the war and mentored her in the ways of medicine. She tragically died of an illness, but remains as a ghost.
  • Deadly Doctor: Revealed to have been one in life, as she used plants to create biological weapons used in The Great Offscreen War. She deeply regrets having done this.
  • Lethal Chef: A Running Gag is how terrible her carrot cake is. The hungry Caroll won't eat it, the monsters won't either, and the only ones who seem to like it are Marcia and Ripple, and purely for sentimental reasons.
  • Must Have Nicotine: While she doesn't go crazy about it, she does have an addiction to smoking, to the point that as a ghost, she can and will only appear in places where there is smoke.
  • My Greatest Failure: She deeply regrets her role in The Great Offscreen War.
  • One Last Smoke: She asks Caroll to light up a cigar one last time. Since she is already a ghost, he has to fill the entire reception room with smoke.

Other Inhabitants

    Meat
A giant flower monster that resides in the house. He rules over a bunch of smaller flower monsters.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Despite initially acting antagonistic to Caroll, he isn't really evil. He is willing to get along with Caroll when the latter shows he is not a threat.
  • No Biological Sex: It is mentioned in his bio that his gender is actually unknown, so he probably just identifies as male.

    Light
A plant spirit girl that resides in the house.

    Ripple
A merman spirit that resides in the house.
  • No Biological Sex: His bio mentions that he has no real gender, being a water spirit; presumably, he identifies as male.
