The Game Characters

    Dick Head
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dickhead_39.PNG

"Ah! Your name is Dick Head!"

The initial main character. He is the titular local sheriff who is tasked with catching criminals.

  • Expy: Of the Guardian from Petscop.
  • Meaningful Name: Dick Head's head is... unfortunately shaped.
  • Punny Name: Though Dick Head is an obvious reference to his head, Dick is also a slang term for detective; while he is a sheriff rather than a detective, both relate to law enforcement, and it could also refer to him being a "head" of law enforcement officials.
  • Unfortunate Names: Dick Head is not a very flattering name. Unfortunately, all the good ones were taken.

    Pickle Chin

"Pickle Chin has been summoned."

The other main character, right after Dick Head.

  • Expy: Is also one of the Guardian.
  • The Hero: Acts a bit more decidedly heroic than Dick Head, and is chosen to save the land from Dave and the Gun.
  • Duo Tropes: He and Song worked together as a duo to escape the Temple, and then later set a goal to stop Dave and Gun.

    Dave

"YOU CANT STOP ME"

The creator of the game and a character inside it as well.

  • Big Bad Duumvirate: He and the Gun are working together to kill criminals.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: He is perpetrating some unknown agenda, and Pickle Chin must stop him as well as the Gun from killing criminals.
  • Hidden Villain: He does not physically appear in the game or the series despite his presence being alluded to.
  • Expy: Of Care.

    The Gun

"how could you not know about bullets! Do you live under a rock?"

A talking gun. Dick Head's pet and partner in crime. He is wreaking havoc around Dave City and killing criminals.

    Song

"Anyways my name is Song! Don't laugh, it's not a joke!1"

A flying disc, and Pickle Chin's companion.

    Lettuce
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lettuce.PNG

"OH NO! UH OH, NO-AAAAAAAH!"

A weird guy. Notable for being the only in-game character who is voice-acted.

  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Marvin in Petscop was the Big Bad, a child abuser and kidnapper, and many other horrible things. Lettuce, on the other hand, is... just a weirdo, but not really a threat whatsoever.
  • Age Lift: Lettuce sounds like a young child, while Marvin in Petscop was an adult.
  • Expy: Of Marvin.
  • Meaningful Name: His name is Lettuce because... his head resembles lettuce.
  • No Indoor Voice: He hasn't spoken much, but when he does, he gets LOUD.
  • Suddenly Voiced: Unlike the other game characters, he is voice-acted. This could possibly be a parallel to how Marvin could communicate with button inputs.

    Idiot Loser
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/idiotloser.PNG

A perpetually teary-eyed person we first meet in Sheriff Domestic 12.

  • The Bus Came Back: Finally returns at the end of Songu-tchi, seemingly being freed from their prison cell.
  • Expy: Of Belle.
  • Unfortunate Names: "Idiot Loser" isn't the most dignified of names.

    The Criminals
A collection of miscreants who are causing trouble in Dave City and Middle Dave.
  • Adaptational Villainy: The Pets were harmless creatures who just wanted a home, and were running away from the Guardian because they were scared. These characters are criminals who are evading arrest.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: They are causing trouble in Dave City, so Dick Head must catch them, while Dave and the Gun want to kill them.
  • Expy: Of the Pets, the cute critters that must be caught to beat the game, and run away from you when you get near.

The Real World

    Ed
"And now I just have a microphone!"

The guy playing the game.

  • Expy: Is one of Paul.
  • Suddenly Voiced: Sheriff Domestic 6 marks the first (and so far only) time he speaks.
  • Stylistic Suck: His microphone is terrible, and his sound quality is horribly compressed.

    The "Group"
Hello, we the "Group" is now here to take over the investigation of this game.

An unknown force who is restoring the recordings.

  • Big Bad Ensemble: They are the real world antagonists as they take over Ed's channel and stalk Ed for some unknown reason.
  • Expy: Of the Family from Petscop, as a mysterious group who takes over the channel and goes after the protagonist.
