The Heroes

Theo

The main protagonist of the series. He is the one who sets his friends on this great journey in search of the Seven Kingdoms of Nutrition.

• Berserk Button: Two big ones: threatening his friends or his little sister, and betraying his trust.
• Big Brother Instinct: Is fiercely protective of his little sister Nina, as well as his friends.
• Brought Down to Normal: Any time he runs out of Nutri Powers. He's shown to be a pretty decent scrapper whenever this happens, though.
• The Chosen One
• Cool Big Bro: To Nina.
• Determinator: Most definitely. Theo even states at one point that someone telling him to give up doesn't know him at all.
• Heroic Lineage: Minor case with Theo being the grandson of a Guardian of the Food Groups.
• The Hero

Lena

Lena is Theo's best friend and reliable aid on their journey.

• Bag of Holding: Carries a small purple cross-body purse that can hold literally anything. In one episode, it's shown to fit two plungers inside. Lampshaded on the official site:
  She always carries a small bag with her that seems to contain all the objects of the world.
• Big Sister Instinct: While this trope is present all of the time, it's particularly strong when Theo isn't around.
• Brainy Brunette: She serves as The Smart Guy while in the field.
• Cool Big Sis: Unofficially serves as one to Nina and when Theo's not around and Nina's distressed, she instinctively reaches for Lina.
• Disability Immunity: In Episode 5, Lena's cold prevents her from falling victim to the brainwashing sugar scent.
• Fiery Redhead: She has her moments. Some episodes have her telling other characters to shut up.
• The Reliable One: Lena can always be depended on to be responsible, look after her teammates and make sure they have the supplies they need. Mild deconstruction in the first episode of Season 2 with her complaining about how she hates having to always be the spoilsport.
• Spell My Name With An S: No one is quite sure if "Lena" or "Lina" is the correct spelling.

Ben

A friend of Theo and Lena, Ben is eager to taste every food he can.

• Big Eater: Always willing to try a new food and would probably eat all of it were he allowed.
• Big Fun: He's officially described on the official website as "playful and always getting into scrapes".
• Identical Stranger: Ben looks almost exactly like the king of the Kingdom of Fats. This proves useful several times.

Nina

Theo's little sister.

• Big Brother Worship / Hero Worship: Nina clearly thinks the world of Theo and that he can do anything.
• Significant Green-Eyed Redhead
• Tagalong Kid: Nina mostly definitely wasn't supposed to go along initially and Theo's quite upset when he discovers that not only did she follow them but she's also landed herself in trouble with a bear. That said, she's proved useful a fair bit including obtaining the milk needed for Weee to find the way to the White Kingdom where the team could get the milk and dairy needed to restore her teammates and protect their bones from the bone-breaking staves of the Tigers during the team's visit to the Yellow Kingdom and redeems the Fat King into a staunch ally.

The Villains

Alex Grand

The main villain of the saga. He gained control of the city after wiping out all traces of healthy foods and replacing them with artificial foods of his own creation.

Nose

Alex Grand's sidekick and assistant. Was also one of the people assisted in Alex Grand's wipe of all healthy foods in the city.

• The Adjectival Man: Take a wild guess why he's called Nose.
