Johnny
Voiced by:
- Beware the Quiet Ones: Johnny's personality is meant to be "suppish", which means a cool, calm and quiet personality. That said, he can and will kick the shit out of you if you set him off.
- Combat Pragmatist: Often grabs an Improvised Weapon, especially when outnumbered.
- Deadpan Snarker: Tends to mouth off at everyone he meets.
- Determinator:Johnny: A johnny's work is never done.
- Functional Addict: Often smoking and drinking, and mentions doing harder drugs like crack. Despite this, he always finds and fights his way out of many dangerous situations.
- Invincible Hero: But not a specifically overrated example, as he gets some challenge during his fights.
- Jerkass: He's verbally abrasive and often insults everyone around him.
- No Mouth: He is not drawn with a mouth.
- Oh, Crap!: His reaction should he attempt to pay his tab at the bar or use the crowbar on the bouncer in 1.
- One-Man Army: He beats up all the thugs that are supposed to be the most dangerous gangsters of all time.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Downplayed; he is of average size, but typically goes up against massive gangsters.Johnny: The bigger they are... The harder I kill.
- Sexual Karma: In some of the startup loading screens, he's in bed with a woman but rebuffs any kind of affection. He can optionally demand oral sex from the woman in the first game before taking her request.
- This Is Gonna Suck: His reaction should you try to beat the bouncer over the head with a crowbar, only for it to fail utterly.Johnny: That probably wasn't a good idea... [has his brains punched out]
- Villain Protagonist: He's a massive jerk who only cares about his next drink/high.
Thug Inc
The gangsters who just won't learn that Johnny is too strong for them to handle.
- Bad Boss: Their boss tends to threaten the other members of the gang.
- No Mouth: All the members are mouthless but they still talk, for sure.
Marty
Marty is the bartender of the bar that Johnny goes to every night. His face is never seen but he's always the one filling a drink in Johnny's cup.- The Bartender: He serves Johnny's alcohol at the beginning of each game.
- Beware the Nice Ones: He may be pretty friendly, but if you refuse to pay your tab, he'll blow your head off.
- Nice Guy: Very friendly for someone you never actually actually get to see.
The Bouncer
- Made of Iron: The only thing that can actually hurt him is a cat scratching his face.
- No Mouth: Like Johnny, he is not drawn with a mouth.
- No-Sell: If you try to hit him with the crowbar, he shrugs it off like it's nothing.
- Smarter Than You Look: Johnny thinks he's going to be a piece of Dumb Muscle because of his brutish appearance and bouncer status, but it turns out that he isn't so dumb after all.
