Bittersweet Ending / Big City Greens

Go To

Some Big City Greens episodes end on a sad note with at least some positivity.

  • "Tilly's Goat": Melissa is kicked out of the dog show, but she does get an honorary award from Cricket.
  • "Backflip Bill": Bill manages to get his confidence back and completes his routine; he places 6th, but at least he had fun.
  • "Bear Trapped": Cricket releases Daisy into the sewers and promises to write to her.
  • "Fill Bill": The Greens are banned from Seafusion forever, but at least Bill manages to prove he's still himself. And despite that, they hated that place anyway.
  • "Coffee Quest": The coffee beans are returned and Cricket's debt is cleared, but he is hesitant to leave Gloria so she makes him stay by blaming him for a mess she willingly causes, which they soon both slightly regret over.
  • "Big Deal": The Greens don't get the TV, the hoarders ignore the meaning of his Rousing Speech and they can't go home to have their Thanksgiving dinner because they spent so long at the store that the food might be spoiled by now. Cricket saves the day by using prepackaged store food while they watch the big game on the giant TV, and even Louis joins them.
  • "Valentine's Dance": Cricket's chance to dance with Gabriella is rejected because he constantly avoided her, and loses the chance to experience what love is. However, since Gloria's date never showed as well, they decide to dance it out together.
  • "Green Streets": Keys reverts to his childish self and goes easy on Cricket, but he cannot let him off scot-free and forces him into cleaning all the litter he dropped.
  • "Sleepover Sisters": Tilly and Andromeda fail to form their psychic link, but one look at the pictures they took reminds them of all the fun they had and realize they're closer than ever before.
  • "Skunked": The skunks are out-stinked and Cricket is called a hero, but due to his act at protecting Gloria, he gets stinked himself.
  • "Cricket's Place": Cricket realizes that living alone is not what it's cracked up to be and returns to his family.
  • "Volunteer Tilly": Tilly decides to do her part and gives all the animals a true place they belong to.
  • "Shark Objects": Nancy gives herself a talking-to, causing Cricket to realize his shark prank was beyond life-threatening, and vows to never do it again.
  • "Dream Weaver": Cricket returns his family's dreams to normal, but due to his sleepless night, he's too exhausted to spend the day with them.
  • "Present Tense": Remy's birthday is nearly ruined thanks to Cricket repeatedly ditching him to win tickets for a T. rex and ruins his cake in return, but he decides to make up for it by doing everything Remy wants, which includes getting their pictures taken in a Japanese photobooth.
  • "Quiet Please": Bill is banned permanently from every library in the world, but it was worth it to give his son the gift of reading.
  • "Bat Girl": The Sue-Zers end up throwing the match, and it's implied it wasn't a good season. But the good news is, they would rather be losers than cheaters, and the Elites are on good terms with them.
  • "The Move": The Greens don't live in Big City anymore (at least for a while) and everything has changed since they left, but as Remy puts, they still fit in just fine and it'll take a while to get used to everything as before.
  • "Country Side": Cricket and Remy are grounded, and Tilly no longer shares her room with Cricket. But the boys at least make a little fun out of their punishment, while Tilly finally has her own space.
  • "Honey Heist": The kids' scheme is foiled and Cricket gets stung a lot, but Nancy manages to sneak them some honey anyway.
  • "Long Goodbye": The Greens finally get their chance to move back to Big City permanently, with Nancy moving into the country house, and they can go back and forth visiting on a standard basis. However, Chip Whistler is revealed to have faked his death and is planning even bigger revenge on them, meaning all their problems are not completely solved yet and he'll be out to strike again.
  • "Iced": The Greens and Nick end up getting kicked out of the coliseum due to their antics on the ice and Bill was upset that he didn't get a corn dog. Fortunately, Alice and Nick were able talk out their issues and acted nice towards each other, and Alice considered Nick part of the family. Also, Bill finally got a chance to get a corn dog when another corn dog vendor is selling them outside.
