Specifically, Kid Ultra was originally designed by Phoebe to be a childcare providing robot, a thing that came about from the lack of a proper playmate in the rich heiress' parental affection deficient childhood. During Kid Ultra's initial startup sequence however, the connection to the Magna Carta was severed leaving him no external reference or personality data banks to draw from. He thus instead drew info from the only other available source, the marketing-approved entertainment holo library pre-loaded into his memory which contained over 60,000 cartoons, comics, movies, and video games intended for placating and educating children. As a result, he thinks he's an actual superhero in a cartoon universe.

As the Lorrian, he starts spewing incredible lofty claims such as that he's some sort of higher being born at the dawn of the universe and that it's his right to rule over Solus. His smugness is so high at this point that when he's defeated, his fall is just as great since he's reduced to an incredibly pathetic state.]]

* AdultFear: According to some lore challenges from her and Marquis, a young Phoebe was involved in an incident that would frighten any parent. To begin with prior to the exact incident, her father had proposed a new type of Magnus which would serve as a personal assistant, essentially a butler. This new type of personalized Magnus which he dubbed the "Marquis", along with providing financial aid would also provide companionship to owners and their children. To test this whole idea out, he employed the very first prototype to his own household. On the whole providing a companion to the owner's children, Marquis proved to be an adequate caretaker for a young Phoebe despite her spoiled nature. However after "The Great Severance", Phoebe's bratty personality led a frustrated Marquis to almost killing her. Although she survived the encounter, all that the young Phoebe did in response was tattle tale on what Marquis almost did, seemingly not fully comprehending the full gravity of the situation.

* SomethingCompletelyDifferent: While most of Toby's Friendship Raid has the Rogues fight against Thaddeus himself as they systematically take out the leopard seal's fleet one ship at the time, the 7th playthrough of the operation alone has them instead fight against Nega-Toby rather than the seal.

* ButForMeItWasTuesday: [[SelfDemonstrating The professional wrestler known in the game today]] has [[ActuallyPrettyFunny his life hilariously ruined]], by [[AnArmAndALeg tearing both his magnificent arms off]].

** '''To the Rogues:''' Faction-wise, both the LLC and the Rogues have very self-indulgent base motivations and both could be painted as [[NotSoDifferent thieves in certain lights]] with some of the LLC being somewhat rip-off artists and some of the Rogues being literal thieves. However, what they value and how they go about achieving their goals in regards to others differ. The LLC in general value making profits above all else and as such have no qualms at selling their products to all the factions since they care for keeping what little clientele is left available. In contrast, the Rogues in general value being free and unrestricted individuals above all else and as such have no qualms at robbing from others to survive since they don't care what others think of them. In addition to aforementioned, the LLC and Rogues are also foils in terms of tech and aesthetics. The LLC are innovators that create slick advanced looking top of the line products which perfectly demonstrate them being the rich of society. The Rogues meanwhile, are scavengers that simply cobble together whatever they can find which perfectly demonstrate them being the dregs of society.

** NotSoDifferent: Although, she and ISIC really hate that old cantankerous fart[[note]]Kleese[[/note]] despite their hatred towards each other.

Kid Ultra is an LLC Supporter. However, for players who own the Season Pass or the Battleborn Digital Deluxe Edition, they got to play Kid Ultra a full week early on October 27, 2016. He can be unlocked as a playable character using 47,500 in-game credits or for Digital Deluxe and Season Pass holders, by using the hero key that accompanies with him on release to unlock him instantly.
