Is this a valid example for Broken Hero?
- Blaz Blue: Ragna the Bloodedge was a young man who lived happily with his brother Jin and his sister Saya. Then a psychotic hipster named Yuuki Terumi burned down his home, killed his adoptive guardian and chopped his arm off. He gets a new arm called the Azure Grimoire from a girl who rescues him, which grants him awesome power but will probably one day kill him horribly. He's a man who has lost almost everything he's ever held dear to him, and it really shows in his attitude towards life. However, he's a source of much of the game's comedy moments, with most of the cast snarking at him and/or kicking his ass.

What trope would it be when you're attacking a dungeon/base/island that clearly hasn't been used for a while (or is particularly out of the way) but when you get to the bottom/centre there are guards there that attack you? Like have they really just been posted here in this incredibly boring place for all this time? How did someone convince them to stay there?

Does Michelle K. Davis' Michael's Hammer in Terra Formars qualify as a Rocket Punch (she's got rocket thrusters both in her ankles and elbows) or does the fist need to be able to detach to qualify?

What's the trope where a British Intellectual is hosting a show and he's dressed with a robe, slippers, fez hat, and smoking a pipe? Also he's in front of a fireplace.
Here's an example:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEbUdt3u7ak a bit of a variation though.

Is there a sword trope for when two people are fighting with swords and one goes for a high strike while the other ducks under the strike and slashes the high striker's stomach while moving past him in one motion? I see it a lot but can't seem to find it,if there isn't a page for this I'd like to create one.

What's the trope for when a particular good guy turns to the bad guy's side, but still retains their good qualities? Like a reverse of Reformed, but Not Tamed.

My daughter has been binge-watching Supernatural lately. I'm beginning to notice how often either Sam or Dean points out to the other that they are brothers. "Why do I care so much? You're my brother, man!"
Then in "It's a Terrible Life" where they are in an alternate reality and don't know each other, Dean even pointed out to Sam, "I don't know you."
Most people don't go around clarifying what relationship they have with each other. I don't know whether this is Captain Obvious, Narrating the Obvious, a form of Say My Name, or a form of Repeating So the Audience Can Hear. Which is it, or is it something else?

In a Fanfic, does an Original Character who figures out an important Plot Twist before it's revealed in the original story qualify as Dangerously Genre-Savvy?
An example would be if in Fairy Tail, when Zeref takes the book of E.N.D., an OC figured out and revealed what E.N.D. was an acronym for.

Do we have a trope for when someone or something goes berserk and stops responding to orders? It could be robot or cyborg stuck in combat mode and refusing to stand down, someone's Superpowered Evil Side coming to the fore and taking control, a Blood Knight getting too into the fight to pay attention to anything but the battle, someone afflicted with Unstoppable Rage and incapable of thinking clearly, or an animal that's managed to get rid of its handler and is now doing whatever it wants instead of what it's told. Whatever the cause, the result is something that was formerly an ally — or at least an asset — is now rampaging indiscriminately, attacking whoever's in front of it.

What's the opposite of Iconic Character, Forgotten Title where the headlining character fades into obscurity as the franchise itself takes over? Spyro The Dragon is this for Skylanders, where the Skylanders take center stage while Spyro himself is pushed into the background.

Something I just noticed:
Which trope would this be?
