As You Know, Star Wars is a Space Opera and a Cash-Cow Franchise created by George Lucas, the Trope Namer of the George Lucas Throwback. It began as a war (Captain Obvious) between Rebel Alliance and The Empire in a classic David Versus Goliath conflict. The R.A. is represented by a Five-Man Band (Blatant Lies, more like Six Man Band) consisting of The Hero and Farmboy Luke Skywalker, The Lancer Han Solo, The Big Guy Chewbacca, The Smart Guys R2-D2 and C-3P0, and The Chick Leia Organa (Save the Princess). The Empire is represented by Big Bad Palpatine The Emperor, and The Dragon Darth Vader, Mr. Luke, I Am Your Father (It Was His Sled). It has The Obi-Wan, Mr. Half-Truth. The Star Wars Expanded Universe has the Jedi Order versus the Sith. That conflict is supposedly Black-and-White Morality, but it is actually Black-and-Grey Morality at best and Black-and-Black Morality at worst. The Sith are Always Chaotic Evil (with possibly one or two exceptions). The Jedi Order can be a Corrupt Church full of Lawful Stupid Hypocrites and Knight Templars at times. Good Cannot Comprehend Evil, and Evil Cannot Comprehend Good on both sides. Oh, and there's also Narm loaded in S.W., but Your Mileage May Vary on that one, because it could be Narm Charm or Mostly Narmless.
