This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

(This trope was invoked, as the IRL JKH sent the author a picture of Big Boss, claiming it was a picture of himself, and said author took this at face value, hence JKH's comic appearance, so it's status as being invoked should be mentioned for reasons of accuracy)
This Is a Drill: Simonla has a drill at the end of her tail and can turn her hand into drills. She is based on Simon from Gurren Lagann.
(This trope was also invoked, albeit unintentionally, as the author never actually watched the original show that was Simonola's basis to anyone's knowledge, so the invocation is unintentional and this should be pointed out somewhere for clarification.)
Finally, this comic needs the Life Embellished trope added, as many elements and plotlines were fictional counterparts to Real Life events that happened to the author.

For me, Accidental Nightmare Fuel needs the third paragraph about High Octane Nightmare Fuel removed as per the Trope Repair Shop redefinition of Nightmare Fuel.

I believe I have a valid new trope and that I am creating it in good faith. Someone deleted My God Youre Full Of Stars and then locked the page. I have a new page, My God You Are Full Of Stars, and I would appreciate it not being cleared and locked again without a complete discussion.
New tropes need to be taken to YKTTW and go through that instead of just being created and put on the page. Otherwise, it will probably earn a swift cutlisting.
