Pretty good really. I suck at explaining things so I'll just settle for saying "It's definitely worth it".

You need an Ubisoft account to play it though. Yes that includes if you purchase the Steam version. Small price though.

I'm thinking of buying it but should I play the others before I do?
Play the other games, but don't play Absolution.

If a game is a daily sale, that's probably the lowest price we'll see this sale, right?

If any of you don't have Sir, You Are Being Hunted, it's part of the daily deal. $2. Get it, it's excellent.
I noticed it, but there quite a few negative reviews, saying that it's badly executed and has less replayability than the premise suggests. Even the good reviews mostly have pretty low playing times, which is also a bad sign. So I'm leaning away from it for now.

[up] Eh.

Still, it's only $2, and Steam has that fancy new refund system, so...

I thought Absolution was solid, it's not Silent Assassin or Blood Money but it's still a solid title. Maybe not a good Hitman game but it stands on it's own merits.

Hey, Nidhogg is $1.50, so I'll get that!

And definitely get Rogue Legacy!

I now go by Graf von Tirol.

So far, I've bought the Metro Redux pack. Nothing else seems to grab me.

I'm going to get Rogue Legacy too. I'm going to research it before I go for the sale.

Meanwhile, in exchange for buying Child of Light, my brother gave me a $25 Amazon gift card—with the condition that I might buy 2 books with it in the future. Still, good deal for me.

Terribly tempted to get Shadow of Mordor and City Skyline as well as another game, but I'll wait to see them go on daily or flash sale.

I picked up This War of Mine and Valkyria Chronicles.

Other tropers, I command you to order me not spend anymore money this sale. I need an adult dammit and I think responsible!me is out of town for the month.

Wolfenstein The New Order and The Old Blood package for $24.98? Yes please.

Grey Goo is definitely worth the money, especially now that the price is much lower. It's made by Petroglyph, which some of the members happen to be the former creators of the Command & Conquer RTS games. It's also got a short, but good campaign and the Goo faction is quite unlike your typical RTS army.

...Soooo, how likely do you guys think Shadowrun: Hong Kong will go any lower during the sale, even if just a little bit?

[up]That game is not even out yet [lol]

I'd say you pick up Dragonfall: Director's Cut if you want the experience badly at a cheap price, it is a steal!

Yeah, I don't think a pre-release game will get that cheap. And 33% is a decent deal.

Thoughts on Sunless Sea? It looks good, but I'm not entirely sure.

Also:

Rising World is a voxel based open-world sandbox game, featuring a procedurally generated world, playable in single and multi-player.

Is it just me or does this look like literally THE most generic thing in the world?

Debating whether or not to get Sunless Sea...I mean, it doesn't look like there's much to it other than sailing around and exploring, but the lore looks interesting...

Yo Kab: I own it, I love it, and I WANT MORE

But, alas, so many games, so little money. :(

Well then, time to trim down the wishlist some more.

Is Evil Within worth the money? I kinda wanted it because I'm such a big Resident Evil fan but I never had the cash when it came out. And now I've heard it's less than great.

Oh really when?

Rock of Ages is a really fun arcade style "Destroy stuff in your path and make sure you are not destroyed" game with some neat visuals. for $0.99, you cannot have a better deal for it!

Castle Crashers for $1.49? This is considered one of the best indie brawlers, get it! Battleblock Theater is also a good deal at $3.74.

[up]I won't call it great, but I won't call it bad. It's a decent game if you enjoyed Resident Evil 4 (which I still think is a better game). Not sure if the DLC-galore the game's having is an improvement. It needed a strict direction, maybe it would have been better.

Also yes to Castle Crashers
