Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Made On Demand and The One You Admire: If they don't improve, kick them to YKTTW or cut.
I had a thought about the blank/cut issue. Is it possible to add another edit note to those you see when you edit a page? Something to the effect of "If moving or deleting a page, remember to use the cut list instead of blanking."
Just a thought. I understand if it's not practical.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettWell, that would require a modification of the backend, and I doubt that the issue is bad enough to warrant that. A notifier for the issue is much more minor and something a moderator can do.
Anyhow, worklist:
- BirdMen: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- 'Land Girls: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Yanderella: I've suspended its creator for persistently not getting indexing and ZCE rules; someone will have to clean the page.
Okay, I understand. (I'm good on programming theory, stinky on the practical.)

Needs input for Human Trial Is Human Error. I'm still not getting what the trope's definition is supposed to be, and the only suggested definition is too similar with another existing trope. So, unlaunch and re-YKTTW? Cut?
Cut that one. We really need to stop people from making unauthorized new Main/ pages. Nothing good ever comes from these.
Otherwise, Know Your Mare is a stub work page; creator was messaged.

Today's worklist:
- The Defrosters: ~secretfan14, please use the Cut List to get rid of pages.
- Devil Dog The Hound From Hell: Stub work page; creator messaged.
Also, ~Mystnmist1217, pages are indexed by putting them on a suitable index page. Screwing around with page types doesn't do anything.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI don't think that person made Devil Dog The Hound From Hell, because it was in Main/ for a while. Someone's moved it as per the Wick Namespace Migration. Message Secretfan14 about page blanking. He's blanked the pages he's moved instead of changing them to redirects. Also, Film. The Dinosaur Project, moved by the same person, looks pretty stubby too.

Keeper of The Celestial FlameI'm sorry, I didn't realize how much I needed to put into a page. I've added a lot of tropes to it, is there anything else I need?
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.^Answered in PM.
^^Yep, I actually didn't message them, but when writing the post muscle memory kicked in.
Evening worklist:
- Paranoia: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- The Uutak Mythos: Hmm, sure that it deserves a franchise page, ~Ice Fire Warden? These are only for works with at least 3 work pages in different mediums.
You're probably right about the Franchise page The Uutak Mythos. Perhaps a Main page instead? I was working on something and I thought Franchise would fit it better, but now that I think of it it should probably be Main (I was going off the fact that it had both literature, art, and an upcoming mod). I apologize. I'll see if I can fix it tomorrow, unless one of you nice individuals mind doing it for me.
Ice Fire Warden -
1)It only qualifies for a Franchise page if there are works pages on this wiki covering three different mediums. Since it doesn't have that at this time, no Franchise page.
2)Main is an absolute no-go. Work pages do not go there period, and haven't for quite a while. Don't make a redirect from Main to it either - that is only for older works that were in main from before the namespace system.
Stick it in Literature.

Adding to the Paranoia page. Trying to find suitable examples.
No bad pages today so far, although I should probably note that the next weeks I'll be a bit scarce from wednesday onwards because of all-day college stuff.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe The Uutak Mythos Franchise page has signed up for deletion and the Literature page has been created. Thanks for the heads-up everyone.
Warm Regards, IFW

Today's worklist:
- Chappie: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- JustForFun.Triangle: ~eroock, do we really list such subpages?
- Geek Remix: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Great American Novel: Not sure if this should be a trope or UN to me; asking ~Patachou.
- Jane the Virgin: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Obstacles: Anyone mind a redirecting?
Well, The Great American Novel can be a trope, but as you can see on my page I could only find a few examples of its use in popular culture so far and mostly only in books, cartoons and comic strips. It's more a general concept in literature anyway and if it's used in other media it's usually treated as a joke.
To be a trope it would be mandatory to add other tropes to describe what the Great American novel is exactly, but the concept is very vague. It has to be an American novel of a certain depth, epicness and a strong cultural identity. That may seem very specific, but as you can tell from the type of novels that have been attributed as the candidate for this very vague honorific title nobody seems to be quite clear what would exactly qualify as such. To avoid people using the term for all kinds of examples that somehow don't fit the definition it may be best to keep it on the Useful Notes/ page.

I don't know much about the function of Just for Fun. The trope in question is part of that domain so I created the namespace and moved it there.
^As far as I know, we don't list examples for such things outside of their own pages.
Anyhow, worklist:
- The King is Dead, Long Live the Emperor: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Parvum Opus: Seems like a complaining page with little effort put into it and no YKTTW by ~Calvin Valjean.
- What We Do in the Shadows: Stub work page; creator messaged.
Cut Parvum Opus. The fact that the page even says it's partly for complaining ("not just to complain", to borrow the description) is reason enough to get rid of it.
Wow, sorry. The other time I tried to create a character page somehow didn't save, so I tried it without much info and planned to go back to it.
