- The Child of Love: In chapter 5, Shinji and Asuka kiss while watching fireworks during the Obon festival.Too late. Asuka takes Shinji's head in her hands and kisses him hard on the lips. The kiss feels like it could last for an eternity, while their tongues dance in their mouths. It's like when the two of them danced together while battling Israphel, the 7th Angel. The only sounds audible are the pops and pams from the fireworks behind them. There she was, healthy and happy and alive, a weight lifted off his chest that must have weighed the whole world, and Zoro realized in that exact moment how much losing her would have cost.

The sharpshooter was cut off by Nami's hand slapping over his mouth, the pair of girls watching quietly as Zoro moved, closing the distance between him and Hikari at a steady, controlled pace.
To anyone on the outside, his gate would be dangerous, predatory, expression intense on her face, but it sent a shiver up Hikari's spine, every nerve tingling with anticipation.

Zoro stopped a hairsbreadth away, close enough for Hikari to feel his presence against her skin like a physical touch, ripping off his mittens efficiently to curl a sword-calloused hand around the side of her neck.
"I've never done anything I regret." The swordsman reminded her firmly. "I'm not about to start now."
And their lips touched, warm and chapped and close, sparks singing across the connection like fireworks in a dark, moonless sky. - Futures Freak Me Out: After three years of unresolved sexual tension, Shinji and Asuka kiss under the rain shortly after becoming a couple.And then, before my mind can dissuade me from doing so, I lean down and press my lips against hers. A soft gasp escapes her lips before we connect, and there's a second of stillness in her body before I feel her sigh, and melt against me.
She's accepting it. She wanted this, too. It's with surprise I feel her tongue probe at my mouth, but I let it in gladly. That never happened the first time around, and the sensation is nearly overwhelming. I've wanted this for so long, I can't even remember a time when I didn't.
She wraps her arms around my back, and for several minutes, we're completely alone.

That was kiss two. - In Gundam SEED Destiny Altered, Shinn Asuka reunites with Stella Loussier at Portsmouth, after the latter survived the horrific Destroy incident that claimed her life in the canon. The moment she sees him, Stella runs and jumps into his arms, and Shinn kisses her completely on instinct, which she returns. It's not until after they finish kissing that Shinn remembers that Athrun and Yzak were accompanying him and saw everything.
- Samara kisses Malleus at the end of the Mass Effect/Warhammer 40,000 crossover Angels of the Storm
. Problem is, Malleus is a Space Marine and has been struggling with his Absolute Xenophobe views since the previous story, so the kiss is more of an Accidental Kiss and he is deeply shaken by it. They still hook up later.
- The Erased Chronicles has this following the climactic ending of the battle between Gohan, Goten and Trunks (fused into Gotenks), Piccolo, Erasa and Videl against Kid Buu. While Goten, Trunks, Piccolo and Videl return to the Lookout, Gohan takes a moment to speak to Erasa. He decides to propose to her, having no ring to offer and mostly expecting a refusal, but Erasa accepts. And then, this...The half-Saiyan couldn't believe what he was hearing. He'd expected a refusal, or at least Erasa to cautiously say they should wait a bit long before something like a proposal. But she'd said yes. This was a moment he could only struggle to put into words; a moment of elation, of joy, and of triumph. "I'm...feeling a bit weak in the knees..." He said, and indeed Gohan fell to the ground, Erasa still clinging to him. Landing firmly on his rear, he started to laugh; weak laughter at first, but it became joyous in only moments. "I love you, Erasa!"

The half-Saiyan pulled Erasa's face towards his, and their lips met. They kissed deeply, and in that moment, the entire world melted away from them. It had only been a short time, but Gohan had forgotten how soft Erasa's lips were; Erasa had forgotten how gentle Gohan could be with her...
- In the second story of Danny Phantom: Stranded: After surviving the monster of Specter Island and Vlad Plasmius, Danny checks on Star. At first she's angry that he disappeared to deal with the ghosts himself and slapped him. When she's about to slap him a third time, she stops and immediately decides to kiss him on the lips. Danny is shocked at first, but soon kisses her back.
- Gankona, Unnachgiebig, Unità: Italy told Germany and Japan he would kiss the person he chose. He kissed both simultaneously. He chose both.
- The Bully: Harry Smith and Ellie McCoy go down onto the beach in Harry Smith in Sincostan: Part II and kiss for ten straight minutes.
- Akio and Ryuko share one in the Grand Finale of Before My Body Is Dry, right before the latter goes off to face Ragyo. It begins with an awkward silence between the two before Akio figures he can say so much more with actions. While not their First Kiss, this one is pretty much to lay out the gravitas of the upcoming final fight, and Akio adamantly tells Ryuko to come back to him. She makes good on that promise.
- In Displaced (The Legend of Zelda), after a long build up and an Anguished Declaration of Love by Link, he and Zelda share a passionate kiss.
- A Crooked Man: Rogue gratefully and passionately kisses Johann for modifying her powers.
- Knocked Up has an incredibly heartwarming one in chapter thirteen. After all the trouble the two went through, and after Roxanne finally gives birth, they confess that they love each other and kiss.
- The Devil Fruit Hero: After the USJ Incident, Hilda kisses Izuku full on the lips as gratitude for him saving her from Shigaraki.
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic
- In a side-story to All-American Girl (Shinzakura), Mike and DJ's first kiss — the first human/pony couple in Earth history — qualifies as such:Instinctively, their lips met, brushed together, then fully connected, sending both into paradise. The room exploded into the full-out scent of dark chocolate, so much so that there was no one who couldn’t smell it now. The two continued kissing until the adults present, confused at two teens of different species making out but realizing that it wouldn’t be a great example, broke them up.
- Rainbow Dash and Thunderlane share their first kiss at the end of Justice League of Equestria: Mare of Steel."You're killing the moment." Rainbow was about to respond when she found two lips pressed up against hers. She blinked in surprise, unsure of how exactly to respond, before she closed her eyes and allowed some of the tension in her body to subside.
- A Growing Affection has Naruto and Hinata's First Kiss causing the two of them to forget where they are for about a minute. Where are they? In the Leaf Stadium, surrounded by almost every Leaf and Sand ninja, at the conclusion of Naruto's trial.
- Advice and Trust:
- In chapter 1 by Shinji and Asuka. After an awkward beginning they were so engrossed in kissing each other they not even noticed where they were going to. They tripped, landed on a beanbag and still they would not break their lip lock or stop. After a long while they broke off and panted heavily as they gazed quietly at each other.
- In chapter 10, Rei and Kaworu kiss at the stroke of midnight on New Years, marking their Relationship Upgrade.
- Evangelion 303: In chapter 16, after many months of Ship Tease, doubts and angst, Rei and Kaworu finally hug each other and kiss.
- In the Junior Officers chapter "New Year's", Shellington and Deborah have this when the clock strikes midnight.

- By the Sea: When Cody has recovered enough to go swimming in one of the tide pools by the shore, he urges Obi-Wan into the water with him and starts palming Obi-Wan through his underwear. This is when he finally realizes that Cody's been attracted to him for ages and that the Headbutt of Love thing Cody had been doing with him over and over was the merfolk version of a kiss, so Obi-Wan shows him what humans do, instead.
- In Hellsister Trilogy, Kara and Dev-Em kiss each other passionately when they are about to leave for a suicide mission.Kara grabbed him around the neck with both arms, pulled him down, and kissed him. They held each other very tightly for several seconds.
- Either Way What Bliss: When Enid finally admits she loves Wednesday, the latter pulls her into a passionate kiss.

- Higher Learning: In the last episode Shinji has been searching Asuka for a long while in the Well of Souls (a amalgam of all human souls). During a talk with other souls Shinji begins playing a song that he and Asuka played a while ago... and the music guides her back to him. Both teens play together for a while. Then Shinji walks towards her, cups her chin, and they embrace and kiss in the center of Instrumentality.
- Olivia and Leon in Is it really okay to use Getter Rays in a world of Otome Games? share this after they finally undo the Mind Control she placed onto herself.
- Last Child of Krypton:
- Between Shinji and Asuka in chapter 12:She closed her eyes and he closed his again, and she rested her hand on his neck, drawing him in, tilting his head just a bit. They were close, very close, and then it happened. Her lips touched his, warm and moist and tasting ever so slightly of strawberries from the lip gloss she wore, open just a touch so that he could taste her breath, feel it mingle with hers. He shuddered, his belly muscles contracting involuntarily.
Gingerly, without opening his eyes, he put an arm around her and drew her into a second, deeper kiss, longer and harder. She shifted her weight onto him and he put his other arm around her waist to support her, and soon she was only his lap, her head above his, holding his chin with both hands. - The Lion King Adventures teases the idea of Simba and Nala getting together throughout Series One. They finally get their big kiss after defeating two Big Bads and surviving several threatening ordeals.
- Long Time No See: After the Nerv's reunion party, Shinji and Asuka share a passionate, fervent kiss in a balcony.It was by far not his first kiss. In fact, there had been quite a lot, ranging from heated and passionate, to gentle and loving ones, to small greeting and goodbye pecks.

- In My Huntsman Academia, Izuku gets his First Kiss from his girlfriend Yang as a Solstice present. Unlike most examples, it isn't described as some kind of euphoric feeling, but it was amazing all the same, and he briefly forgets how to stand once they finally pull away after several minutes.All of these sensations, all of these momentary flickers of thoughts were blasted into your mind like a shotgun by a wave of... pleasantness. It wasn't mind blowing or earth shattering. The ground wasn't trembling and the sky wasn't falling. You weren't ascending into the heavens themselves and she wasn't dragging you down to some pit of indescribable sensation. There was just a pleasant... feeling. It sounded silly to call it tingly, as it felt more like a soft wave just barely lapping against you. However, it was warm and the sensation came, as she pressed in slightly closer and went as she pulled back, allowing her to readjust herself and you.
It was like a haze, like the humid, early morning fog of summer that climbed up your spine and into your head. Leaving you feeling pleasantly numb as you barely kept yourself together.

And it was amazing. - Naru-Hina Chronicles:
- Being the main couple, Naruto and Hinata have several of these:
- There's the one they have when they are sitting on a seat during their first date, which also counts as their Official Kiss. He asks if he could kiss her, but she kisses him before he even finishes his question.
- They have another one when Naruto is finally able to say "I love you" to Hinata after an entire year of dating her, with his girlfriend having Tears of Joy over hearing him say those words.
- There's also when Naruto is reunited with Hinata over 11 days after he was declared to be KIA during a mission.
- After Naruto manages to defeat Hiashi during a fight that would decide the fate of the former's relationship with Hinata, the blond ninja and his girlfriend share a kiss, celebrating the fact they'll be able to continue their relationship.
- And of course, there's the kiss they have when Naruto proposes to Hinata, as well as the one they have when they get married in Chapter 200.
- In-universe, Naruto has written an Icha Icha novel where the hero and the heroine have a Big Damn Reunion, complete with this kind of kiss. When reading the chapter that features said kiss, Naruto imagines himself and Hinata as the hero and the heroine respectively.
- Even Naruko and Hinago (their gender-reversed alternate universe counterparts from the Mini-sodes) have done this trope. After another one of their dates, Hinago walks Naruko all the way home. With a smile and a slight blush, she asks him "So what now?" This is followed by Hinago giving to Naruko a kiss far more passionate than any of the few ones these two had in previous Mini-sodes. What makes this even more notable is this is the first time where Hinago is the one who initiates the kiss instead of Naruko.
- Naruko and Hinata from the Yuri-verse (also from the Mini-sodes) ended up doing this type of kiss right after they confessed their love to each other.
- After Naruto is able to give the cure for Mina's disease before she could die, Mina wakes up while being on an hospital bed and is greeted by Kiba smiling at her. She smiles back and says she wants a kiss from her boyfriend. Kiba says "Well. Since you asked so nicely." and they kiss each other while wrapping their arms around each other, the two of them relieved they were able to make it through this severe situation.
- Neji makes the mistake of proposing to Tenten so soon after learning that she's pregnant. This upsets Tenten as he gives the impression that he only wants to marry her for that one reason. The next day, he goes to her appartment and tells her he's been thinking about it. He apologizes to her before saying that he doesn't care if they get married or not and if they have a child or not. After Neji tells her how much he loves her, Tenten is touched by it and she passionately kisses him. He kisses her back and puts his arms around her, both of them relieved that they were able to get past this disagreement.
- Ino tells Choji how much she's scared about their relationship given that her previous relationships with other boys ended up poorly. She's afraid that it could ruin their friendship. Choji tells her "Those other guys... they didn't see what they had, or who they had within their reach. I've known you for a long time and... I see you for who you are and... it's beautiful. Inside and outside." Ino looks at him in surprise over what he said before asking him to "[c]ome down here for a moment." She then rises from her feet and kisses him with more passion than with any of their previously-shown kisses.
- Being the main couple, Naruto and Hinata have several of these:
- In chapter 11 of Neon Genesis Evangelion: Genocide, Shinji and Asuka kiss at last after a heated argument:Her rosy lips parted, and she closed her eyes as she descended on him.
Shinji had waited for this moment for so long. He had always been torn by his feelings towards her. In the darker days of the fight with the Angels he couldn't bear to be with her. Asuka had become so hostile, so angry. Everything she said was an insult, all she did was hurt him. He hadn't known if he could live with her. It was the most painful time he could recall. But he'd come to identify with her and her pain.
It was not, he realized, that he was there for her. It was simply that he was hers. That he belonged to her—all of him. He always had, ever since meeting her.
Their lips met gently, with nothing more than a caress, but that was enough for Shinji to feel a shockwave of electricity flowing through him. The sensation flooded her every cell, and ate its way into his being. It became almost like a tangible thing and he opened himself to it.
Never had he shared such an intimate bond with another human being. Never felt this way about anyone.
Faced which such heartfelt comfort, Shinji caved in and submitted to her, his body relaxing instinctively under her kiss.
The smell of her hair surrounded him, and her taste poured into him. He looked deep within himself, down into the very core of who he was, and realized he was starving for her. His mind became a blur where all he could make out was the warm sensation in his mouth as they worked their lips against each other.
It was not their first kiss, but it was the first time it felt right. Before Asuka had teased and goaded him into kissing her, even bringing up his dead mother. Then she had held his nose and pinched it until he turned blue while kissing him. It had not been entirely unpleasant, just strange. Now it was different.
Asuka intoxicated him as he pressed harder against her lips, feeling them quiver and part further, relishing more of her taste. He was drunk with it.
In this moment, only the two of them existed in the world.
Had he not needed to breathe, Shinji would have kissed Asuka forever. Just as he had said he would be with her forever. But that was not to be. When the kiss finally broke they both gasped for air, and locked eyes with each other again. - The School for Good and Evil (2022) fanfic Not a prince: At the end of the story, Lesso pulls Dovey into a deep and passionate kiss, starting a relationship between the two.
- In Chapter 29 of Origin Story, when Alex manages to return from Buffyworld and tracks Louise to Wakanda, where the latter is hiding, they reuinite with a magnificently described kiss:Alex lifted Louise from the ground and held the other woman in her arms. She brought one hand up to cup her lover’s face and kissed her. To Alex, the kiss felt like it went on for all of eternity. It felt like they were dancing. The only thing Alex heard was the distant explosion of fireworks going off around her. The sensation of Louise held against her body caused a warmth to spread across Alex’s entire being. And Louise returned the kiss with just as much fiery passion. Alex could feel the love Louise felt for her through her skin. Despite everything that had happened, despite everything that had tried to separate them, Alex had made it back to her Louise. Nothing – nothing – could ever keep them apart.

- Invoked but ultimately averted in this Queens of Mewni comic: Hekatia and Edmund kiss, complete with music, feathers and bubbles in the background...and both quickly realize there's no spark between them, go 'nah!' in unison, and Hekatia tells her servants (who provided the feathers, music and bubbles) to pack it in.

No regrets. - In Robb Returns, Ursula Stone/Cawlish gives one to Bronn Cassley after they find the Shield of the Trident in the crypts of the Foxhold, and he acknowledges that it's hers by right, due to the Cawlish family being related to its previous owners.
- Javert and Valjean's kiss in Roommates may count, but fandom reaction has certainly been... enthusiastic, even attracting several new shippers.
- Ruby and Nora, surprisingly, has two between Penny and Ruby.
- After chapters of teasing and fake outs, RWBY: Reckoning finally has Yang and Darrel kissing in Chapter 27, much to the relief of the readers, if the reviews are anything to go by.
- The Second Try: At the end of chapter 4, "Love", Shinji and Asuka get married and kiss in front of the Red Sea (which means that they kiss in front of literally everybody) and remaining kissing for a long while as the sun sets.
- Shards of Memory has this in Chapter 19 when Terra tries to free Cloud from Sephiroth's mind control.
- Sixes and Sevens: After several years of separation, Michael and Roger finally have one at the end of Haunting of Villa Layla's seventh chapter
- In Son of the Desert, Roy and Ed share one when Ed agrees to Roy's marriage proposal.
- Son of the Sannin has four, three of them over the course of chapter 31, and the last one at the end of the story, each representing the Relationship Upgrade of a separate couple:
- Tenten kisses Haku in the heat of the moment after being promoted to Chunin. It's only after the kiss is over that she realizes that she did so in front of the entire village.
- Fu gives Shino a rather long goodbye kiss just before she heads back to Takigakure. This excites Tenten, since it means that people will be talking about that instead of her own lapse in judgement.
- Naruto and Hinata share their first kiss in private during the afterparty for the exams. It's a lot shorter than the other two, but it had a lot more buildup.
- Kiba and Tamaki go through a phase of Belligerent Sexual Tension for the most part of the story. They finally kiss during the second-to-last chapter, after barely surviving their encounter against Madara Uchiha along with the rest of their peers.
- Bruce and Diana's First Kiss in "Christmas in Kansas", part of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Hearts series.
- A good description of Rogue's first true kiss with Peter Parker in Spider-X; while Rogue had previously kissed Peter while he was wearing his mask, after Peter creates a bracelet with a power nullifier that blocks Rogue's powers as long as it's on, their subsequent make-out session is only interrupted when Kitty phases through the door to see what they're doing after waiting for fifteen minutes.
- In Spider-Man: Finding Home, Peter gives Kate Bishop a version of this when he takes her to the top of Avengers Tower and then kisses her with such intensity that she doesn't notice when he jumps them both off the tower until they’re in freefall (naturally Peter starts swinging before they're in any danger).
