Forceful Kisses in Anime and Manga.
  • The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You:
    • The vice principal of Rentarou's school has a reputation for kissing students as punishment for breaking the rules, especially running in the halls.
    • Hakari and Karane both tried to do this to Rentarou in Chapter 2 to try and get his Sacred First Kiss before Rentarou explains his Zany Scheme for resolving the issue.
    • Rentarou has only ever done this once in the entire story, with Yaku in Chapter 75, but immediately regretted doing so before she explained that she was teasing him.
  • Air Gear: Akito suddenly did this to Ikki once.
  • In After School Nightmare, Sou sexually assaults Mashiro twice—first forcing a kiss on him and later actually attempting to rape him. Mashiro nevertheless falls for him.
  • In Airmaster Nagato asks Kinjiro to kiss him to make his pain go away and he does so rather forcefully. Nagato feels better afterwards, Kinjiro however feels sick.
  • In chapter 132 of Assassination Classroom, Nagisa forcefully kisses Kayano, seeing it as the only way to stop her (tentacles-induced) murderous rampage without getting killed himself. He later apologizes.
    • Nagisa learned the technique from Irina/Bitch-sensei, who used it on him during her first appearance. Later, she also kisses several of her students in order to slip an escape route map and a miniture explosive kit into their mouths so that they can escape the facility they're being held in.
  • Ayakashi Triangle:
    • The first time Suzu’s omokage manifested, it tries to give Matsuri a True Love's Kiss to break his Gender Bender curse. Matsuri was too surprised to resist at first, but once the kiss turned heavy, he pulled away just as the ayakashi disappeared.
    • Shadow Mei tries to break up Matsuri and Suzu by suddenly grabbing and kissing Matsuri in front of every girl in their swim class until he breaks away. Suzu responds by kissing Matsuri even more deeply.
Mei: (thinking) What? Tongue?! You can do that? (speaking) Pretty impressive.
  • Berserk:
    • The kisses Griffith gives to Princess Charlotte prior to engaging her in sex carry this energy; they were kisses fueled by frustration and despair over Guts leaving the Band of the Hawk, and he was desperate for some form of solace. Charlotte, who is in love with Griffith, is hesitant due to his sudden advance, but ultimately complies and lets him take her.
    • Then it's played for sheer horror when Griffith, having been reborn as Femto of the Godhand, crosses the Moral Event Horizon; he forcefully kisses Casca as he's viciously raping her in front of her lover Guts. As a finale to this heinous act, he forcefully tongue-kisses her as he explicitly rapes her from behind, making sure Guts sees every detail of what he's been doing to her.
    • Guts also forcefully kissed Casca when his Enemy Within almost drove him to rape her.
    • And then Slan kisses Guts in Qliphoth after he impales her on the Dragonslayer.
  • Boys over Flowers: In the episode "Domyoji Tsukasa Snaps" Domyoji does this to Makino.
  • In Change 123, when Kosukegawa first wants to confess to Motoko that he loves her, and hesitates to do so, Motoko suddenly switches to her Bokukko alternate personality Hibiki and gives him a kiss.
  • Aion does this to Rosette in the anime version of Chrono Crusade. Twice.
  • Crimson Spell: Used three times, once successfully and twice...not so much.
    • Havi pushes Vald against a wall and kisses him after a successful Cooldown Hug. Unaware of what his demon form has been getting up to with Havi, Vald reacts by shoving him off and shouting at him.
    • When Vald is trying to convince Havi not to leave their questing party (and, more importantly, him), he cycles through arguing, crying, and straight-up ordering Havi to stay before giving this trope a shot. It works, and make-up sex ensues.
    • Rimris forces a kiss on Vald while propositioning him. Given that he's in love with Havi (not to mention that Rimris had him tied down and he'd just escaped an Attempted Rape), Vald is less than receptive.
  • Cross Ange has a few instances of forceful kissing...
    • In Episode 2, this is played for horror when Zola Axberg steals Ange's First Kiss this way as she attempts to rape her. Ange resists and slaps her for it, knocking out Zola's prosthetic eye.
    • Later Played for Laughs; Rosalie attempts to spike Ange's water with a laxative, but Ange is plenty aware of Rosalie's attempt to bully her. After taking a sip, she grabs Rosalie and kisses her so she can force-feed her the pill. Rosalie immediately retreats to the bathroom.
    • In another very rapey instance, Embryo gives Ange a somewhat forceful kiss as he attempts to brainwash and seduce her. Too bad for him, Ange remembers her First Kiss with her Love Interest, Tusk, and regains her mind to rebuff Embryo for his advance... all it does is impress him further.
    • Then in an incredibly emotional moment, Ange uses one of these for her Slap-Slap-Kiss moment to Tusk after he returns to her following a near-death incident, initiating Their First Time.
  • Dawn of the Arcana: Caesar pulls forced kisses on Nakaba in the first chapter.
  • DARLING in the FRANXX has Unlucky Childhood Friend Ichigo forcefully kiss her crush Hiro on two separate occasions. In the first, it's pretty much an attempt to mimic the kiss between Hiro and Zero two, in the vain hope of achieving similar results. On the second, she accompanies it with her Anguished Declaration of Love.
    • Hiro is subjected to this again by the Klaxosaur Princess, who traps him in her Combat Tentacles and forcibly takes him as her Stamen. There's nothing remotely romantic about it, and Hiro struggles the whole time.
  • In D.Gray-Man, Road does this to Allen. He (along with everyone else) goes into thundershock.
  • To keep Riku quiet so he won't be discovered Dark surprises her with a forceful kiss in the first episode of D.N.Angel.
  • Death Note:
    • Oddly enough, Light Yagami does this with Misa. However, he only did this to convince her that he was "in love" with her.
    • He does this again to her in the live-action series, but this time, he only did it to keep her from inadvertently exposing him as Kira while L's cameras and microphones were set up in his room.
  • The Familiar of Zero:
    • Louise plants a kiss on Saito for their Master-Familiar contract in the first episode. She does this again at the end of the first season.
    • It's also used by Agnes to Louise and Henrietta to Saito, as part of a Fake-Out Make-Out ploy.
  • Leonard does this to Kaname in Full Metal Panic! during their first meeting. Kaname gets really pissed at him for stealing the Sacred First Kiss that she wanted to be with Sōsuke.
    • Sōsuke unintentionally delivered his own to Mizuki much earlier when posing as her boyfriend, after Mizuki's very incredulous friends insist she "prove" their love by kissing. Mizuki immediately balks at the idea. Sousuke, however, ascribing no sexual or romantic significance to mouth-to-mouth contact (and associating it CPR more than anything), simply does as he's asked and plants one on Mizuki despite her obvious disinterest. He is appropriately rewarded with a punch to the face by Mizuki and an angry lecture on consent from Kaname.
  • Fushigi Yuugi:
    • It gives both Miaka and Tamahome their share of forced kisses. Heck, even their first kiss was kinda forced.
    • And Nakago once does this to Tamahome.
  • In Future Diary Yuno does this to Yukiteru immediately after she finally meets him. It's actually kind of scary. And also Akise to Yukiteru.
  • Fruits Basket: Haru once steals a kiss from Rin to prove whether she really doesn't love him anymore.
  • Lio Shirazumi from The Garden of Sinners forcefully kisses Mikiya in order to transfer a drug/poison into his body that will kill him.
  • Gundam 00 has at least a couple of examples:
    • Season 1 has Fiery Red Head pilot Nena Trinity giving one to Setsuna the first time they meet, much to the latter's disgust since he Hates Being Touched.
    • Season 2 has Lyle Dylandy giving this to Feldt Grace. Justified, as he made the move to stop people comparing him to his twin older brother Neil - the first Lockon Stratos. In Feldt's specific case she had a huge Precocious Crush on Neil, who would've never forced a smooch on her; by forcibly kissing her, Lyle sorta told her to not use him as a Replacement Goldfish for her lost First Love.
  • Girl Friends (2006): Mari and Akko's second and third kisses.
  • In Hekikai no AiON, Sheila does this to implant the Mushis forcefully intro humans host, being her first victim the School Nurse Youko-Sensei.
  • Pip Bernadotte from Hellsing tries to do this to Seras twice. He finally succeeds in planting one on her shortly before his death, which doubles as a Last Kiss.
  • In Honoo no Alpen Rose, Mathilda gives one to Lundi much to his shock and disgust. For worse, Lundi's girlfriend Jeudi sees them from a distance — and this, coupled with a very recent attempt on the poor girl's life, causes Jeudi an Heroic BSoD.
  • Ryoki of Hot Gimmick loves to do this to his girlfriend Hatsumi.
  • In Infinite Stratos, Laura Bodewig forces her tongue down Ichika's throat and declares that they are going to be married. With him as her wife.
  • JoJo's Bizarre Adventure:
    • Phantom Blood: Near the beginning, Dio Brando steals a kiss from Jonathan Joestar's girlfriend; Erina, as part of his grand plan to humiliate him. Ironically, this is where Dio's life starts to fall apart.
    • Steel Ball Run: Diego does this to Hot Pants, although he was actually trying to suffocate her after she tried to suffocate him. It gets the same sound effect as the Dio/Erina kiss from Phantom Blood as a shoutout.
  • In Junsui Adolescence, Kiiko forces a kiss on her friend Abi believing that that is as far as she will ever get. Then Abi forces a kiss on Kiiko when the girl tries to run off.
  • In Kemono Friends, Prairie Dog greets other Friends by forcefully kissing them. Truth in Television, as prairie dogs greet in such a manner.
  • In Kill la Kill, the Brainwashed and Crazy Ryuko Matoi is asked by her father's killer, Nui Harime, if she still wants revenge for her dad's death. Not herself at the time, Ryuko responds by pulling Nui into one of these, much to Nui's shock, but also pleasant surprise. It is also played as a Big Damn Kiss, but it is not meant to be seen as a romantic moment at all, rather to show how badly warped Ryuko's mind is right now thanks to having Junketsu sewed to her skin.
  • Not quite forceful, but Akito still manages to steal an unexpected kiss from Sana in Kodocha. Her reaction was rather responsive.
  • Koharu no Hibi: Koharu does this to Akira in chapter 12. In chapter 16 Koharu does this to Mika because she wanted to be the one to be Akira's first kiss and Mika kissed him first so she was taking his kiss back.
  • Kyō, Koi o Hajimemasu: Kyota grabs Tsubaki's hair in order to kiss her as payback for cutting his hair and as a declaration that she's his new target.
  • Soubi to Ritsuka in an episode of Loveless.
  • Done by Koizumi to Otani in Lovely★Complex. And Otani does this to Koizumi when confessing to her.
  • In the Lupin III: Part II episode "Lupin Becomes a Bride", lecherous billionaire and villain Onafetts, already smitten with Marie (Lupin in Drag), falls madly in love with "her" after taking champagne laced with a powerful aphrodisiac and proceed to jump and give "her" a forceful mouth-to-mouth kiss, much to Lupin's disgust. He's in fact later seen washing his teeth repeatedly and rinsing.
  • Maiden Rose: Klaus to Taki before they have sex.
  • MÄR:
    • The Phantom attempted this on Alviss at least twice. The first time was during Ginta’s nightmare and the second was when Alviss got captured and he had him in his grasp. Fortunately, Alviss was smart enough to pull away fast enough the second option. The first one, Nanashi saved him. Then again, this was Ginta's dream so...
    • Dorothy forces a kiss from Ginta in the last episode as a way of resolving the tension between them before he goes back to his world to be with Koyuki/Snow... or something. It seems to be her way to getting over the fact he's choosing Earth and Koyuki/Snow over her, but it's kind of vague.
  • Happened a few times in Marmalade Boy:
    • One specific scene is when Yuu was crossdressing as a girl for a job, and Suzu comes up, grabs him, and suddenly kisses him.
    • In episode 3, Ginta forcefully kisses Miki and she's so upset that she slaps him away. It happens to her again in episode 58, but Michael's the culprit this time.
  • In Minamoto-kun Monogatari, the main protagonist Terumi Minamoto is fast becoming an expert at this. Sometimes it gets him slapped, other times, it almost gets him laid. 100% of the time though, he still gets to make out with a hot woman.
  • In episode 7 of Mirage of Blaze Naoe tries to do this to Kagetora but Kagetora shoves him away.
  • This happens in the first episode/second chapter in My Little Monster. Haru had strong feelings for Shizuku, but he had a hard time trying to show them properly.
  • Naruto: During an anime-only filler arc, Naruto received this in a form of a Kiss of Death (a kiss that sucks chakra out of your system) from a female villain named Fūka. She successfully forces a kiss on him three times, but none of them completely work due to various reasons.
    • First, shortly after encountering each other for the first time, she pins him against the wall while aggressively flirting with him and claps his cheeks together to get him to hold still and pucker up. She passionately makes out with him for several seconds, but realizes that she actually kissed one of his Shadow Clones, allowing Naruto to survive.
    • Second, at the end of their first fight, Fūka manages to immobilize the real Naruto by turning his legs to stone with a paralysis jutsu. After taking a moment to continue her faux flirting with him, including cuddling with him and holding him by the face to force a mock romantic Held Gaze between them, she successfully kisses him and begins draining his chakra. After awhile though, she accidentally ends up absorbing chakra from the Nine-Tails, and due to it being too "evil" for her, releases Naruto and shoves him away, returning his chakra to him.
    • Third, she knocks Naruto out during their second fight, and remembers that he has wind nature chakra and decides to stock up, lowering herself on top of Naruto and kisses Naruto while he is unconscious. She spends too long fantasizing about having his power for herself though and draws out the kiss too long, allowing Naruto to wake up and realize her weakness, and he breaks the kiss before she can get his chakra.
  • In Negima! Magister Negi Magi:
    • Since a kiss on Negi is required for a Pactio and Haruna really wanted the Artifact that comes with the Pactio, she does this on Negi. Twice.
    • Evangeline once forced a kiss on Negi too, "as a fee for her advice. Asking favors from an evil mage always requires payment."
    • There is also the part with the multiple fake Negi: One of them tries to forcefully kiss Yue, and explodes after she repels him. Said fake, named "Nugi", makes a reappearance as a golem that Haruna made for the girls to practice their Pactio kisses on. Naturally, it doesn't go as planned, and Akira suffers for it.
    • There was also that whole "Wish made too close to the power-leaking world tree turns Negi into a kissing Determinator" incident, where Negi gave a Forceful Kiss to Asuna.
    • And then there's the multi-page Pactio by Negi to Chachamaru. Negi's forceful kisses break laws of magic!
    • In chapter 252 Konoka gives Setsuna one of these for their Pactio.
    • Also used by Negi towards Shiori alias Luna. Her cover as the fake Asuna has just been blown, and he'd rather kiss her and undo her disguise than having her non-lethally shot by Mana.
  • Neon Genesis Evangelion
    • Asuka goads Shinji to kiss her. Though, given their neuroses and insecurities, the process ends becoming up very awkward. She doesn't want to seem interested in case he turns her down, so she tells Shinji to hold his breath as it is tickling her, before she, much to his surprise, pinches his nose shut and forcefully kisses him. Shinji wants to kiss her back but he doesn't dare to because he can't believe she likes him. Asuka then holds the kiss (and Shinji's nose) for so long, waiting for a reaction, that Shinji almost ends up being suffocated by it. This was brought up again during the infamous Mind Rape scene. When Shinji came up in her head, she exclaimed "What are you doing there?! You won't do anything! You won't help me! You won't even hold me!" And it's shown that after their first kiss, she ran to the bathroom to gargle so she could hide her pain from him about his lack of warmth.
    • It's implied the Elevator Going Down scene involving Kaji kissing Misato started with this, from the way he's holding her and her protests afterwards (through Kaji doesn't find the latter very convincing).
  • In Night Walker Cain plants one of these on Shido.
  • In No Game No Life Zero, When Schwi first meets Riku, she suddenly kisses him in a (failed) attempt to seduce him.
  • In episode 3 of Ookamikakushi Issei tries to do this to Hiroshi. The whole scene is quite creepy.
  • Played for Laughs in One Piece during the cover story Gang Bege's Oh My Family, where the virus-themed Germ Pirates attack the defenseless Dressrosa by spreading the Kiss Kiss Virus, which pushes people infected with it to grab and kiss the closest person they run into regardless of gender or looks. It causes quite a ruckus.
  • In PandoraHearts chapter 3 Alice does this to Oz. This case is a little different because it's not because she likes him - she reveals later that she doesn't even understand the implications of a kiss; she was only doing it to get her blood into him... somehow.
  • Momo from Peach Girl has this happen to her by Kairi's brother Ryo. She manages to fight him off, before he can take it further, though. This is also Sae's favorite seduction tactic.
  • Used twice in Penguindrum. In episode 9 Sanetoshi fails to give one to the possessed Himari, but the episode after that Masako succeeds into planting another on Himari's brother Kanba.
  • Phantom Thief Jeanne: Sinbad has grabbed Kaitou Jeanne and kissed her at least twice. The first time, Jeanne was too shocked to do anything, but the second time she immediately shoved him away (then wondered where he went; maybe a rooftop wasn't the best place for that).
  • In Princess Tutu, Kraehe plants one on Mytho as she removes his feeling of love.
  • Ranma ½: Ranma's admirers, namely Kodachi and Shampoo, have attempted to do this on occasion. Most notably, when Shampoo suddenly kissed him after meeting up with him again at Akane's house.
  • In Rave Master, Lucia does this to Elie, causing her to cry and enraging Haru to the point of wanting to kill him.
  • Romeo gives Juliet one in Romeo × Juliet. Complete with romantic bridge setting and fireworks. Less romantic is when Ophelia gives her one in the penultimate episode.
  • Miyabi Fujisaki once forces a kiss on Mizore in Rosario + Vampire.
  • Sailor Moon:
    • Prince Diamond attempts to do this to Usagi twice. He only sees her as her future self Neo Queen Serenity, whom he has an insatiable lust for. Needless to say this is an I Have You Now, My Pretty situation and his attention is very unwanted. Usagi didn't even feel sorry for him until he was dying.
    • In the manga and Crystal, he does kiss her, only once. Usagi makes it clear she isn't into him and is deeply upset that he kissed her. She even wipes her mouth off. Not only is it an I Have You Now, My Pretty case, it's also a case of Attempted Rape and it's not just any type of rape, it's statutory rape as Usagi is 14 even with Japan's official age of consent; Takeuchi clearly intended the kiss to be sexual assault. In these versions, Diamond is a completely psychotic villain who is rightly killed for murdering millions of innocent people, including a child directly at his hands (manga only due to there being strict rules about what is shown on TV), and seeing the heroine as an object for him to own and control. Nobody sheds any tears for his death. Takeuchi's message was clear: these types of guys are worthless douchebags who will abuse you and no girl deserves a guy like that.
    • Takeuchi in general was fond of non-con kisses, though only Diamond's was supposed to be assault. Mamoru kisses her while she's asleep in the Princess D chapter/episode (evoking the prince kissing the princess awake in fairy tales), Usagi surprise kisses him later in the DK arc, Uranus forcefully kisses Usagi to get her to leave her and Neptune alone (this is a plot point; it's how Usagi figures out Uranus' identity), and finally Cosmos surprise plants one on Usagi when she reveals herself to her (this one may also overlap with Screw Yourself). The final three only happen in the manga and/or Crystal.
  • Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi:
    • Takano forcefully kissed Onodera... only to show a mangaka how a kissing scene should look like. They are shoujo manga editors.
    • He later does it again, but this time, trying to get Ritsu to remember him and their past relationship. Needless to say, Ritsu isn't okay with another kiss being forced on him by his boss.
    • Yoshiyuki's brutally raping of Chiaki was downplayed to just a forced kiss in the anime (as far as it shows).
  • In chapter 7 of Sensual Phrase the blonde foreigner Ralph surprises Aine with a forceful kiss when her boyfriend and his half-brother Sakuya is not around.
  • In Sentai School, Viper decide to kiss the very first good guy in front of her father to bother him - and it's Hongo. She escape a death-by-Bibi because she quickly explains to have chosen the first one in sight - she does not even know his name.
  • Shugo Chara!:
    • Famous Idol Singer Utau Hoshina forcefully kisses the mysterious cat-boy Ikuto Tsukuyomi, much to the shock and horror of Amu, Kukai and their Charas (to quote Ran, "It's an adult's world!"). And it becomes Squick once you realize how they are related: she's his sister.
    • And Ikuto himself is so displeased that he slaps her away.
  • In chapter 145 of Skip Beat! Sho does this to Kyouko.
  • Stardust Wink: Enomoto tries to on Anna.
  • In The Story of Saiunkoku, Sa Sakujun does this to Shuurei... while bleeding heavily from the mouth due to a self-inflicted case of lethal poisoning. Shuurei is understandably upset about it for several reasons.
  • In Strawberry Panic! Yaya does this to Hikari at the end of episode 13. In the following episode when we see the scene again Hikari shoves Yaya to the floor when Yaya starts to grope her. An understandable reaction seeing as how Kaname had just tried to rape her before that.
  • In Taboo-Tattoo, the Big Bad princess does this to the heavily exhausted and defenseless main character in chapter 9.
  • In Ten Yori Mo, Hoshi Yori Mo, Tadaomi forcibly kisses his cousin Mio during a verbal fight.
  • At the conclusion of volume 3 of The Testament of Sister New Devil, Yuki Nonaka grabs Basara Toujou by the shirt collar and kisses him, much to Mio Naruse's shock and jealousy.
  • Kish from Tokyo Mew Mew steals a kiss from the main heroine Ichigo more than once.
  • Variable Geo: Yuuki spends half her match against Satomi by sexually harassing her; including reaching down her blouse and groping her, right at the start. But she finally goes too far when she deflects one of Satomi's punches and uses it to pull her close and steal a kiss on her cheek.
  • Yaiba: Princess Kaguya needs to fuel her youth once a day by absorbing the life force of a woman through a mouth-to-mouth kiss which leaves the victim aged. She's particularly eager to do it to Sayaka because she's the reincarnation of the Dragon Priestess whose body was taken over by Kaguya, and by drinking her youth she'll undo her seal and return to her real form.
  • Yatterman: in one sea-themed episode, the weekly Cool and Unusual Punishment dished by Dokurobei on the Doronbo Gang has them snatched by a giant mechanical octopus which then proceed to give them each prolonged, powerful smooches, straining their faces.
  • Yona of the Dawn: Just before she parts ways with Hak in chapter 137, Yona grabs the hood of his cloak and kisses him in front of Vold, Algira, Ogi and Minsoo. Hilarity Ensues as she quickly retreats, leaving Hak wide-eyed and babbling.
