    Satina
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/satina1.png
Voiced by: Hannah Daigle (pilot), Shannon Hobby (series)

The main character. She's the daughter of the Queen of North American Hell, Lucia, and her father Dave, an ordinary human from the overworld. Satina's energetic, playful, mischievous, sometimes weird, but always loves her estranged parents very much.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Her mother and father sometimes call her "Satie" or "Tina" respectively.
  • Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: Subverted. She has a short attention span when her dad's explaining how information technology works. She is, however, listening to every single word being said whilst engaging in another activity. Satina puts this to good use in repairing the servers she destroyed. Played straight in the short Satina at the Bat! where she wasn't learning anything that Dave taught her about baseball.
  • Bad Powers, Good People: Satina has all the powers one could expect from the princess of hell, including fiery breath, portal creation, and necromancy, but despite that, she's just a nice girl who loves her parents and tries her best to be good and helpful to them, even if said "help" has some unintended consequences.
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: Comes with the territory of being a demon. She can inhale a baseball lodged in her eye-socket and casually spit it out through her mouth.
  • Breath Weapon: Satina's capable of breathing fire. Unfortunately, she's not very good at controlling it, as demonstrated when she exhales a plume of flame from a sigh of relief, which goes on to burn up all the servers at her father's place of work.
  • Catlike Dragons: The Hell princess has a lot of cat-like tendencies, from running around on all fours at times, to climbing and clawing up her dad's shirt like a curtain.
  • Child Prodigy: She's skilled enough in Necromancy to the point where she can resurrect a single burned out server to achieve what an entire room full of servers is required to.
  • Cute Clumsy Girl: Has a habit of destroying anything she gets her adorable little claws on.
  • Cute Little Fangs: Satina's got two impressive fangs that are always in view, and she's as adorable as a kitten.
  • Cute Monster Girl: Isn't she just? Though Satina does get the inevitable odd stare from people in general.
  • Creepy Child: At times, but it comes with the territory.
  • Daddy's Girl: Satina loves her father very much.
  • Easily Impressed: Satina is thoroughly enamored with her father's normal life and rather dull place of work. She's even explicitly called this.
  • Extreme Omnivore: As a demon, she doesn't need to eat or drink, she just likes the taste. Especially human flesh and blood, but will settle for having ice cream with her daddy any day.
  • Eye Scream: In Satina at the Bat!, a baseball lodges in her eye socket briefly.
  • Genki Girl: A hyperactive, cheerful demon child.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: Satina is a child of the Queen of Hell and a human father. She takes more after her mother, in both appearance and powers.
  • Meaningful Name: Her name is a female version of "Satan".
  • My Blood Runs Hot: As a demon she burns up the ice cream she licks up.
  • Necromancer: She's a Child Prodigy when it comes to necromancy.
  • Nephilim: Satina has a demon mother and human father, but she's not a Half-Human Hybrid. Inheriting none of Dave's traits, attributes or general biology. Having a human father maybe the reason she's so good-natured and docile.
  • Obliviously Evil: Hyperactive Satina has a poor grasp on how dangerous her strengths and powers are to those around her, but she's never intentionally malicious.
  • Playing with Fire: Satina has the ability to control fire.
  • Protagonist Title: She's the main character and web series' title is her name.
  • Soul Power: She can suck human souls out of their bodies to fuel her necromancy, temporarily turning the mortal plain more hellish by the second, when doing so.
  • Super-Toughness: At one point Satina accidentally hits her head on the roof of Dave's car hard enough to leave an imprint but it doesn't even phase her. Later Dave uses her as a hammer to break open the fire extinguisher case and she's just as un-phased. In Satina at the Bat!, she gets a baseball thrown into her eye and barely reacts.
  • To Serve Man: "I LOVE FLESH AND BLOOD!"
  • When You Coming Home, Dad?: Both Dave and Lucia have taken steps to avoid this from happening after their relationship broke down years prior. While Satina lives with her mom, Lucia has threatened a few times that if her deadbeat dad doesn't provide occasional child maintenance, there's gonna be Hell to pay.

    Dave

Voiced by: Mike Pitts (pilot), Hans Van Harken (series)

The father of Satina and Lucia's ex; demon queen which he had an intimate relationship with in the past. He is an ordinary North American human that works as an assistant in an IT consultancy company.

    Lucia
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/satina_lucia1_satina_6.png
Voiced by: Hannah Daigle (pilot), Laila Berzins (series)

Satina's mother. Lucia's is the Queen of North American Hell (the busiest division of Hell). She is overworked, tired, and ticked off nearly all the time.

  • Amicable Exes: Downplayed. It's ambiguous on if she and Dave are ex-spouses or lovers but they aren't currently together with their relationship still being strained. However, they do make an effort to get along for their daughter's sake.
  • Big Red Devil: She definitely fits the bill, having red skin, yellow eyes, horns, hooves, wings, a tail, and being enormously tall.
  • Commonality Connection: Not confessed to her ex in-person, but Satina and the Bat! shows the Queen of Hell enjoys playing solitaire as much as Dave.
  • Dragons Are Demonic: Lucia has a reptilian head and an elongated neck which makes her somewhat resemble a humanoid dragon.
  • The Dreaded: Ghouls, ghosts and other demons of Hell are generally terrified of her, and Dave is particularly scared of provoking her.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Less than impressed Dave's an irresponsible slob, choosing to reside in a squalid Lonely Bachelor Pad.
  • Evil Is Bigger: She is a high-ranking demon and towers over other humans and creatures from Hell.
  • Expy: Hannah Daigle stated she loved watching Samurai Jack and sought to emulate the series villain Aku's character design into Lucia's.
  • Giant Woman: Standing at 80 feet, Archdemon Lucia towers over the main cast.
  • Hidden Depths: She's an ill-tempered Bad Boss that specialises in punishing damned mortals for eternity, has a low opinion of humanity, yet she obviously loved Dave very much before their current spat.
  • Hidden Heart of Gold: Deep down, under that enormous angry exterior, she cares for her daughter very much.
  • Hot as Hell: Fairly curvaceous. It's even Lampshaded in one short, where she consults Dave on her confusion over being called "Thiccer than a bowl of oatmeal".
  • Ice Queen: Nearly always grumpy or bored. She wasn't always this way even when overworked, her relationship with Dave implies she was happier until it turned sour.
  • Impossible Hourglass Figure: With large breasts, small waist, and very wide hips, she definitely qualifies.
  • Interspecies Romance: A past one with Dave. She's a Big Red Devil while he's an ordinary human.
  • Large and in Charge: An Archdemon that's the Queen of North American Hell and she's absolutely massive.
  • Mama Bear: She threatens Dave if he doesn't show Satina a good time for Father's Day.
  • Noble Demon: Lucia forces Dave to be a responsible father for Satina. Though she's more than capable of invading the mortal realm, she isn't interested in terrorizing the world of the living.
  • Non-Mammal Mammaries: A Draconic Humanoid with breasts.
  • Noodle Incident: It's unclear exactly how her relationship with Dave fell apart and has become so strained, though her threat to drag Dave to hell with her if he doesn't pay child support or do his part in raising Satina implies it may have something to do with Dave's Commitment Issues.
  • Not So Above It All: She feigns disgust when Dave implies she could sit on him , leaving him horribly embarrassed ...before deciding to oblige him For the Lulz.

  • Parental Neglect: Zigzagged between this and Mama Bear depending on whether Satina's annoying her or not. Her job definitely keeps her busy to the point that she will dump Satina on Dave if she needs to.
  • Perpetual Frowner: Always seen scowling, she rarely ever breaks into a smile.
  • Reality Warper: Her presence in the over-world alone makes everything become decidedly more hellish.
  • Satanic Archetype: Lucia is practically Satan in all except name; She's a Big Red Devil, the ruler of Hell (albeit one section of it), and her name is a shortened feminine version of Lucifer.
  • Screw the Rules, I Have Connections!: She's got enough power and pull to get Death himself to do her bidding and meddle with mortal's lifespans before their predestined times.
  • Thinking Up Portals: She can portal across from her domain to the overworld with relative ease.
  • Tiny Guy, Huge Girl: With Dave. Lucia is a massive Big Red Devil while Dave is practically puny in comparison.
  • Tsundere: Even though Bumbling Dad Dave annoys her greatly deep down she still has feelings for him, though his Commitment Issues and deadbeat tendencies frustrate her to no end.
  • Voice of the Legion: In the first episode, when she's being completely serious about Dave not messing up Satina's Father's Day visit, Lucia puts on a deep, reverberating echo to her voice.

    Dave's Boss
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/daves_boss_satina.png
Voiced by: Pete Acetturo

The manager of the IT consultancy company where Dave works.

  • Big Little Man: In charge but is of very short stature.
  • Ink-Suit Actor: Dave's boss at the workplace shares many visual similarities to his voice actor, Voiceover Pete.
  • Mean Boss: He has a low opinion of Dave, but his employee hasn't done much to change that over the years, what with his often breaking dress code policy, turning up to work late, and usually appearing disheveled.
  • No Name Given: Dave only addresses him as "Sir".
  • Pet the Dog: After "fixing" the company's server issues, Dave's boss gives him the rest of Father's Day off to spend with Satina.
  • Selective Obliviousness: He fails to notice Dave's daughter is a demon child (and that she's naked), and instead advises Dave to apply sunscreen to her.
  • Technologically Blind Elders: Doesn't care how the IT infrastructure works, so long as it works.

    Melvin
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/melvin_satina.png

A very lazy coworker in the IT consultancy company where Dave works.

  • Cant Get Away With Nothing: Melvin sleeps during work, not only evading the bosses' ire, but making him oblivious to events that transpired earlier. He later pays the price for this by having his soul sucked out of him.
  • Cat Girl: He has Nekomimi as his terminal's screensaver.
  • Lazy Bum: This fine specimen of a human, comes into work and always goes into the server rooms just to sleep all day long. Even Dave can't stand him, that's really saying something.
  • Oh, Crap!: All he can do when woken to the unearthly sight of Satina's necromancy is scream right before it consumes his soul.
  • Ultimate Job Security: Dave mentions Melvin only comes to work just to sleep, and yet for reasons unknown, he still has a job.
  • Your Soul Is Mine!: He gets his sucked out by the end result of Satina's necromancy, leaving his body as a shriveled-up dead husk.
