A swordmaster vowed to protect Jamila.- Dark and Troubled Past: Has seen some unsavory things and been forced to do things he wished he hadn't
- Failure Knight: He feels guilt for the death of a wounded girl, and follows Jamila around because she reminds him of the life he couldn't save.
Amon
- Put on a Bus: Completely Justified as he does not work for Raquel. He works for Aisha.
- Fanboy: Gabbie constantly makes fun of him by making him out to be this. Amon denies it every time.
Aneda
A pegasus rider with an... interesting hair color.- Pegasus: Pegasus Rider.
Angelica
A mage with connections to Gar and little modesty in fashion choice.Arietta
A noble born woman who very much hates nobles. Her ill temper and cursing are supplemented by the huge mace she smacks people with.Aubrianna
A dancer with a knack for dart throwing. She carries a whip and healing staff.Axel
A mysterious lancer clad in red armor.- Heroic Sacrifice: Sets up an explosion right in front of him to allow the party to escape from a pair of Fallen.
Blake
A swordsman traveling with Raquel's group. He often plans the combat teams.- Human Pincushion: Was this after getting skewered by arrows while trying to protect Raquel. He got better.
Calumeina
A pegasus rider trained in both lances and magic and a former pegasus breeder, she opposes the use of pegasi in warfare.Chelsea
A troubadour who seems to get sick most of the time during the course of the adventure. Has a past with Shadrak, but not much is known other than that. A kind individual who while blunt and prone to cursing, unlike most of Mercy's followers, she tries to defuse many of her friend's disputes to no avail. She joined Raquel's quest initially because she was bored and wanted something to do, and treats her job as an exciting adventure. Has a horse called Nenesha, "Nesha for short.- Forgets to Eat: Only during the beggining. She's keeping herself in check.
- Soap Opera Disease: Played straight most of the time.
- Split Personality: She sometimes lapses into this, switching to a personality that is far more expressive and violent.
- Put on a Bus: She frequently does this, as she's not a main character and her owner is a lazy butt.
Erion

A wandering bard.- Talking to Themself: Doesn't suffer from split personality, but still gets into conversation with an other self in his head.

- Embarrassing First Name: Which prompts him to use Fred instead.
- The Gambling Addict: Already caught in many debts with people from Ursium.
- Gender-Blender Name: Of the Chosen on Purpose variety. His mother wanted a girl.
Gabriella
A lance wielder who works for Weyland, Gabbie is a bit rough in speech and demeanor.- Do Not Call Me "Paul": She is selective about this. And even then, when she allows it, it's by using Gabbie, not her full name Gabriella.
- Dragon Rider: Though she actually doesn't in the combat segments, as it is not her class.
Garfield
- Arbitrary Skepticism: In a world filled with supernatural phenomena, fantastic creatures, and even divine deities, he still ain't buying things like the existence of the titular emblem, artificial humans, and the party's encounters with Vasili.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: Self-enforced, he refers to himself as Gar towards the group.
Grant
A duelist and relative of the Governor of Tremere Port.- Blow You Away: Prefers to use more the above, but learning this allows him to learn that, making it a case of Required Secondary Powers.
- Red Baron: Frost Prince.
Gytha
A mariner who chose to help Raquel after her father's kidnapping.- Berserk Button: Just call her a pirate. I dare you.
- Cloud Cuckoo Lander: Can come off as one due to her ways to relate anything she doesn't know to something she does. Hilarity Ensues.
- Fish out of Water: Almost literally. She knows little to nothing about anything not related to the ocean, leading to the above.
- Too Dumb to Live: Has her moments for when Hilarity Doesn't Ensues.
Jamila
A dancer from Rex-Avas.Jericho
John
A mercenary wyvern rider.- Accidental Misnaming: Gytha used to call him anything but his actual name. She only got right that it starts with J.
- Big Guy Fatality Syndrome: At the request of his retiring RPer, John was killed at the beginning of the next fight. Being the character with the highest HP and defense on the team it was unlikely he would have died so soon otherwise.
- Stone Wall: Against physical attacks only. Magic, on the other hand...
Katrina
Also a mercenary wyvern rider. Her wyvern, Volga, is a bit obsessed with food.- Never Got to Say Goodbye: Katrina never said farewell to John before his untimely demise. She felt quite guilty about it.

Luka
A healer who works for Weyland and is traveling with the group. He had a pegasus named Rika.Lisandra
A little girl rescued from a Cult.- The Voiceless: All the treatment given by the Cult never allowed her to properly learn to talk, even her 'thoughts' aren't in any known language and only for the benefit for the readers to know what she's thinking.

A wandering nomad.- Hidden Depths: Most of the time you'll see her only interested in getting the most amount of money, and seeing the group only as a means to that end. This is because she places more importance to her family and friends, which is for them which all that money is for, so they can afford a land they can call their own and drop their nomad life.
- Only in It for the Money: Definitely giving that vibe. As does her horse.
Nanahm
A craftsman from Ohka. He likes to carve wooden figurines.- Weapon of X-Slaying: His weapons are specialized to take down certain enemy classes.
Norbert
A male pegasus knight who dual wields steel tonfas and has a few anger issues. Also known as Bert the Crusher.- Boisterous Weakling: Despite his willingness to get into fights and his general anger issues, he doesn't have much to back up his words with. He's lost every fight he started.
- Bonding over Missing Parents: With Valter.
- Dual Wielding: He fights with two steel tonfas.
- I Call It "Vera": His two signature weapons are named Splinter and Crunch.
- The One Guy: Back in the orphanage he grew up.
- Pegasus: Pegasus Rider.
- Sibling Rivalry: With several of his sisters, especially one named Cecelia. Resulted in Would Hit a Girl.
Ranyin
A short mage from Kigen.- Dude Looks Like a Lady: As a result of
Ascended Fanon. - Spell Book: Noteworthy in that it seems to hold everything he has learned to use so far in combat, while normally that would require several books.
Raquel
A young woman trying to maintain her father's business as well as combat his abductors in the process.- Magical Enhancement: Before leaving Sanctuary, Lilith gave her the ability to empower others. Not a pleasant experience though. This in addition to her own staffs have made her role in battle as that of a Status Buff specialist.
Reign
Raquel's friend and a former Ursian soldier. He's a fire magician.Robin
A Neviskotian archer.- Berserk Button: Waking her up from a nap after she's pulled an all nighter. To clarify, she had spent all night making obsidian arrowheads for her arrows and was already groggy before the party left. She fell asleep during the ride to a location which she couldn't identify at first only to be awaken by the sound of battle. Sleepy and enraged, she proceeded to walk into the fray, alone, without knowing who or why they were fighting, down two priests with one shot (one shot per priest, not two priests with one shot), wound a knight and the boss without so much as batting a eyelash JUST because they had woken her up with their fighting.
- Blade Enthusiast : Despite being a archer, or maybe because she is a hunter, Robin likes knives. She uses them a lot to form and make new arrows, skin and cut up animals she's killed, and such, so it would be odd for her to have no interest in them at all... Yet when trying to tag along with Norbert she asks if she can come along to have them help her with knife shopping. She may not use it in combat, but she is most defiantly knife-focused.
- Law of Disproportionate Response : Robin grins and bears being captured by her hated enemy, the Ursium guard, finding out she was likely meant as a scapegoat by Bron's group, and entering into battle against the artificial humans well enough... then goes berserk when someone wakes her up from a much-desired nap and proceeds to shoot four enemies, downing two and wounding the other two.
- Lawful Stupid: She tends to make it personal.
- Non-Lethal K.O.: After her first real battle, Robin swore to never kill a human being, the fight bought having traumatized her. Since then all her shots have been to non-vital areas, downing people through pain or incapacitation instead of headshots.
- Spock Speak: Played with. She uses contractions when speaking in her native language, but drops them entirely when forced to speak in common. This may be due simply to dislike or lack of understanding of the language however (she is also a slow reader, but only of Common).
- Tsundere : Dere kind towards Norbert. She started off hating him for being from Ursium and striking up a argument with her over hunting. Despite that she started to show affection towards him in the desert, even giving him a blanket (not her blanket mind you, but still) to keep him warm. When Norbert unknowingly offended her after one of her dream sequences, she got far madder at him than she has towards anyone else who has not physically harmed her or woken her up from a nap.

- Blow You Away: Mainly in the form of Razor Wind.
- Deadpan Snarker: She's one at heart, even if many of her comments aren't said out loud.
- Rage Breaking Point: There's only so much she can take.
- Taught by Experience: There were a lot of things she had to learn on her own. In general, she tends to learn better by actually doing things.

- Passive-Aggressive Kombat: Occasionally engages in this.

- Curse: Thanks to Wrath, she can't physically leave the area she's confined in, though her power in small amounts can. This has the side-effect of leading to the desert's present situation.
- Really 700 Years Old: Is five thousand years old.
- Take Over the World: Attempted to take over Sardius without success during the Rebellion era, wanting to turn it all into desert.
Griffin
One of the vasili, an old acquaintance and ally of Lilith.- Really 700 Years Old: Is five thousand years old.
- Red Baron: The Great Liberator.
- Shapeshifter: Can alternate between an avian-like form to that of a griffon.
Lilith
One of the vasili, on hostile terms with Wrath.- Curse: Thanks to Wrath she has been stuck in a suspended animation stasis since the Rebellion's end. With part of Raquel's emblem piece, it's now being kept at bay.
- I Call It "Vera": Ascension.
- Light 'em Up: Though it's not of the same kind as Light Magic.
- Oddly Shaped Sword: Triangular blade, with a hole just beyond the hilt.
- One-Handed Zweihänder: Not really a zweihänder, but she's certainly capable of using it with just one hand.
- Rage Against the Heavens: Turned against Wrath during the Rebellion era. Currently still going at it.

An artificial human who looks a bit too much like Raquel.- Training from Hell: Courtesy of Burke. Since artificial humans have higher endurance and regeneration, it makes sense, if extreme, that the training is scaled up too. It only becomes this due to her perspective being bias from having her original's memories.

- Spell Blade: Shock and Awe variant.
Hayato
A fire blade wielding Kigenese sword master with a fiery temper and snide attitude.- Spell Blade: Flaming Sword variant.

- Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: With Burke.
