  • Expy: A rather obvious one

    The Kcisurian Empire

Kcire Wehttam Kcisurdna

Kaine Heresy

     The Four Walkers of Ivalice
Four individuals said to be sworn to uphold the peace in Ivalice, but there are less honorable things than that going on with them.

  • Foil: Isaac and Charlotte are the most prominent examples, but all four of them can technically count as foils for Lotus
  • Four Is Death
  • Four-Philosophy Ensemble:
    • The Cynic: Galahad
    • The Optimist: Charlotte
    • The Realist: Isaac
    • The Apathetic: Janus

Galahad

The first Walker that crosses the Heroes' path, Galahad is a ruthless Lancer, a type of warrior that specializes in spears. Of all the Walkers of Ivalice, he is the most enigmatic.

Janus

A mad magic user who enjoys human suffering. He particularly hated by Lotus because he is the one who killed her charge, Princess Celandine, and was responsible for the nearly fatal attack that caused Lotus' amnesia.

Charlotte

A female knight who is also capable of summon magic. Her love and devotion to Isaac is so strong that she will do anything he asks of her. She despises Lotus, because she (correctly) suspects that Isaac would prefer Lotus as a lover over her.

Isaac

Isaac leads the Four Walkers of Ivalice, and is often referred to by the other Walkers as "The Praecessor." His interest with Lotus is what drives him to send the Walkers after her, until he learns she's a summoner and he goes berserk.

    The Ducibus
  • Animate Inanimate Object: They all took the form of a small cube 240 years or so prior to the events of the Omega Crisis Arc, and as such are commonly referred to as the Cubes.
  • Gratuitous Greek: They all are (currently) named after the Greek Alphabet's letters.
    • Sophia purposely chose her name in reference to its meaning.
  • Older Than They Look: All of them are much over a few thousand years old, but look around 18-30.
  • Elemental Powers: Most of them have a specific elemental specialization, but they are all capable of each others powers.

Alpha:

  • The Leader: He acts as this for the ducibus when Omega isn't around.

Diane:

Isa

Sophia

    Daruz Nero and his allies

Daruz Nero

Ve'Andra

Delando

    The Crusaders
A small group of soldiers dedicated to reuniting their race, which was destroyed and scattered from war. They clash heads with the Heroes several times.

Alexander

Ethan

Desmond

Izikiel

Dmitri

  • Artificial Limbs
  • The Brute
  • To the Pain: He seemed to enjoy the pain of fighting, regardless of if he was inflicting it on others or was the victim.
  • Stealth Hi/Bye: Is surprisingly good at this, since he is the one sent to find the Heroes after the aftermath of the battle between the Heroes, the Crusaders, and Judge.

Samuel

    Zodiac and his Creations

Zodiac

Judge

  • Faux Affably Evil: He does not normally show his sadistic side when interacting with the heroes and kept a promise to Ebony not to kill her in her battle. However, all bets were off later and he let his true nature show by attacking the festival with the intent of killing as many as possible and taking out the heroes.
  • Back from the Dead: Much to the Heroes’ horror.
  • BFS: His claymore
  • The Brute: Fits almost all parts of this trope except one. He is extremely clever and cautious about situations.
  • I Gave My Word: If he promises something, he keeps to it.
  • The Juggernaut: He is this way to weaker magic and attacks. Ebony has to wear the ring in order to damage him at all and the Crusaders use specialized weapons to take him down.
  • The Stoic: He doesn’t let his emotions show when interacting with normal people. However, that blank mask slips during his fight with Ebony.
  • Throwing Your Sword Always Works: Taken to Eleven, he throws his claymore with frightening accuracy.
  • Worthy Opponent: Subverted. Judge seems to think that Ebony might become a worthy opponent if she trained herself better. However, he truly doesn’t care.
    The Takamagaharans

Takamagahara

Devorantem

Confectrix

Big Brother

Amatsu-Mikaboshi

  • Love Makes You Evil: He's killed countless people, absorbed the life of every person in Seattle, nearly raped a teenage girl, and his reason for it all is to convince Izanami to marry him.
  • Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil: Even his allies generally find him to be thoroughly disturbing.

Excidium

    Metroid Prime

     The Demon in the Ring
  • Artifact of Doom: The ring is so old it developed its own personality and hunger.
  • Clingy MacGuffin: It attempted to bond to Ebony’s soul. It tried its hardest to stay on her person or preferably her hand, where it could bond to her. It comforted her at first and began acting up whenever she left it behind, breaking things around it and shrieking. When it managed to bond with her during her berserker rage against Dmitri, it became impossible to remove from Ebony’s finger. Word of God states that if Ebony had not managed to defeat the ring, the ring would have begun physically bonding to her by fusing with her hand and starting to turn the entire arm black as the corruption spread.
  • Demonic Possession: The ring’s intentions for Ebony.
  • Emotion Eater: It feeds on rage and fear from the person it owns.
  • Mind Rape: Was in the middle of mind-raping Ebony when it slipped up, saving her from what the ring’s other plans.
  • Psychological Torment Zone: Creates one to house its ‘pet’ once it bonds. It isn’t fully compatible with her, due to the ring being cut off from Ebony for long periods of time. It had to test her sanity to find what she was afraid of.
  • Villainous Breakdown: The ring breaks down when Ebony defies it, refusing to let Ebony leave its clutches and shows its Yandere nature. In the rage from being defied, it tortures Ebony in order to try and make her forget it’s not real and then brutally murders Ebony’s dream self when it fails. It wakes her up in the real world, destroying its influence over her and becoming her servant instead.
  • Yandere: Big time Yandere. It was obsessed with staying with Ebony in the hopes of bonding with her and eating her soul.

     Bounty Hunters
The various bounty hunters that the Heroes encounter over the story, many of them after the Heroes for one reason or another.

Les Mongo and Les Ringo

  • Exorcist Head: Ebony finds this out the hard way when she attempts to hold Les Mongo hostage to stop the train fight.
  • Our Demons Are Different: They are some sort of demon, but they have no time to announce what type. They can transform their bodies, so perhaps a type of giant.
  • Train Job: The original plan they had before recognizing Ebony and Vo A in one of the private compartments.
