The Shrouds
Ivory (Rie) Shroud
Ebony's older brother.- Black Eyes of Crazy: Subverted. He is not crazy, unless you count how over-protective he is of Ebony.
- Do Not Call Me "Paul": Rie does not like being referred to by his actual name, Ivory
- Does Not Like Magic: He blames it for his sister's disappearance.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Fully believes this, putting himself as the responsible one and Ebony as the foolish one.
- Knight Templar Big Brother: He is one, but he would be a more effective one if Ebony wasn't stronger than him.
- My Sister Is Off-Limits: Subverted. He wants Ebony to get married to save her honor and as a way to protect her from 'corruption'.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: He doesn't like people to know he is named after the color white.
Gaenor Shroud
- The Beastmaster: He is the only one to really use his ability, although his entire family can.
- Black Eyes of Crazy: Subverted.
- Cheerful Child: He was this way in the beginning. He starts losing this aspect after witnessing his mother get killed protecting him.
Anrel Shroud
Ebony's biological mother. She enjoys life to her fullest and enjoys courting any man she finds attractive.- Black Eyes of Crazy: Subverted like the rest of her family.
- Dirty Old Woman:
- Open-Minded Parent: She knows about her daughter engaging in pre-marital sex, but pretended not to know so that her brother didn’t find out.
- Soap Opera Disease: She is ill with some sort of disease, but it’s never hinted at what it could be. The only symptom she is showing is her progressed aging.
- Younger than She Looks: Relatively speaking, since she is an elf.
The Windren Clan
Iodine:
Ebony's adopted mother. She is a centipede demon that maintains control over a household of 20+ children and their equally busy restaurant.- Nonhumans Lack Attributes: Centipede demons have no sexual organs on their human forms.
Victory
- The Caretaker: She decided that her life was to raise other children. She has a licensed daycare and mostly runs it next door to her family’s home, raising her parents children as a way of protecting them from diseases caused at the kitchen.
- Older Than She Looks: She is in her seventies, but doesn’t look a day over thirty.
- Nonhumans Lack Attributes: Centipede demons have no sexual organs on their human forms.
Amelie
Ebony's adopted older sister. She lives in the capital with her family and tries to keep an eye on Ebony when not busy.- Cool Big Sis: While Amelie is very open to Ebony’s friends and is more than happy to embarrass her in public, she does care for her younger adopted sibling and offers to help Alessio in gaining Ebony’s affections.
- Crocodile Tears: Ebony hints that Amelie is more than willing to cry crocodile tears in order to gain sympathy from someone.
- Massive Numbered Siblings: She has twenty siblings included the adopted Ebony.
- Must Have Caffeine: Taken to eleven. She is addicted to coffee.
- Nonhumans Lack Attributes: Centipede demons have no sexual organs on their human forms.
Edward Syringehand
Edward Syringehand is the droid doctor for the tower. He tries hard to ensure that people who come to him for help get the help they need, although most of them don't like him.- Auto-Doc
- Dr. Jerk: Has tendencies of this.
- Servile Snarker: When he is not being a jerk or trying to save someone, he tends to be this.

Gunblade toting cat demon from Carnil. Can use magic through the use of magicite and has an affinity with lightning. Kind of an annoying spazz, more than likely she'll put herself first and blow off anyone trying to stop her. She's helpful to her friends but said friends wouldnt agree. Likes food, fun, and hotness, (though she's tied with Rawk).- Big Eater: Has been known to eat all the food in the fridge, especially in the name of revenge.
- Cat Girl

- Artificial Limbs: His main weapon, the Azure Grimoire, is also a replacement for his left arm.
- Evil Weapon: The Azure Grimoire is a vessel of the Black Beast, which would like to eat everything in existence very much.
- Hitman with a Heart: He used his own body to keep his last nine victims alive after he killed them. See Soul Jar below.
- Mister Seahorse: After his replacement body was corrupted by the Black Beast and eventually melted into seithr, the Beast split itself between Rawk and Erica, both of them becoming pregnant. Rawk's body was reconfigured by the Beast so that it had the "necessary equipment".
- Only Known by Their Nickname: His real name is Lawrence Newton Bedraglighet. He doesn't like it much.
- Professional Killer: Rawk spent nearly six years as one of these, and still takes a job from time to time.
- Soul Jar: He doesn't have one: He was one, and he anchored no less than nine souls to the world of them living.
- Willing Channeler: Rawk allows the Black Beast to influence him in order to use his more powerful abilities.
Flora:
- Happily Adopted: She is now adopted by Rawk.

- Cosmic Plaything: He's watched his pregnant wife and two of his girlfriends (one of whom was also pregnant) get killed. And he's only one of 42 William Reinfleches across multiple universes that he shares the emotions of.
- More Dakka: He has a lot of guns and a lot of types of ammo. And he'll undoubtedly use a good portion of both in any given fight.
- Powered Armor: As a Space Marine, it comes with the territory. His is stored in his spinal column.
- Space Marine: He spent six years as one, and he left the Heroes for a short time to join with them again.
