A SEKAI born from the feelings of MORE MORE JUMP!, where the Virtual Singers are idols that reside in a world filled with stages.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Unlike in the other SEKAI, the Virtual Singers all refer to each other with the Japanese Honorifics "-chan" and "-kun" here, with the exception of KAITO and MEIKO - KAITO uses the more formal and polite "-san" for MEIKO, while MEIKO refers to KAITO without honorifics.
    • Minori and Shizuku typically follow suit, while Haruka and Airi omit honorifics altogether as they both find it embarrassing to use "-chan" and "-kun" for the Virtual Singers. They all refer to KAITO with "-san", likely due to him acting as a surrogate manager for the group.
    • This is averted in the global release, which doesn't retain the use of Japanese honorifics.
  • Color-Coded Characters: Every Virtual Singer has their image color (Or a shade close to it) incorporated into their idol uniform:
    • Miku: Turquoise
    • Rin: Orange
    • Luka: Dark Pink
    • MEIKO: Red
    • Len: Yellow
    • KAITO: Blue
  • Flat Character: They're not completely flat, but unlike some of their counterparts from other SEKAI, who are shown to have colorful personalities and varied interests, the Virtual Singers of this SEKAI are primarily defined by their love of performing as idols.
  • Idol Singer: All of the Virtual Singers in this SEKAI are this, mirroring the activities of MORE MORE JUMP!. KAITO also acts as a manager for both the Virtual Singers and MORE MORE JUMP!, due to both groups lacking someone in that role.
  • Lighter and Softer: This SEKAI has some of the nicest iterations of the Virtual Singers, as their foibles are largely downplayed compared to their depictions in other SEKAI. This is especially noticeable in the lack of a group Butt-Monkey or Vitriolic Best Buds dynamic that is found in the other SEKAI. While Len and Rin occasionally bicker at times as they do in other SEKAI, it's usually resolved fairly quickly and treated as less of a problem than it would be in the Street SEKAI.
  • Mirror Character: Most of the Virtual Singers serve as this to one or more of the members of MORE MORE JUMP!. For example, Kagamine Len is similar to Haruka, right down to having a charming, prince-like aura.
  • Non-Uniform Uniform: While every Virtual Singer wears a similar idol uniform, they each have their own style to make it more unique to their character. For example, MEIKO's outfit has a stomach window, while Rin wears shorts.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: Applies to the group as a whole. Miku, Rin, Luka and MEIKO are all energetic performers, while Len and KAITO are more calm and knowledgable.
  • Symbol Motif Clothing: All of their default outfits incorporate diamond-shaped sparkles.
  • Vague Age: No indication is given for their ages in this SEKAI. MEIKO being a "veteran" idol, Luka acting like One of the Kids, and KAITO volunteering himself to be everyone's manager implies that they're a bit older than the other Virtual Singers and the members of MORE MORE JUMP!, while still being young enough to continue actively working as idols.

    Hatsune Miku
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mmj_miku_3rd_anniversary.png
Gotta be cute.
Debut Appearance
Miku as she appears in MORE MORE JUMP!'s Stage SEKAI, where she's an idol.
  • Big Eater: Airi and Luka call her out on this in "One-Day Trip Before Setting Sail", much to her embarrassment.
  • Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: Plays the Boke to MEIKO's Tsukkomi in Tied by Painful Hope when she suggests tickling Riho as a way to cure her analysis paralysis.
  • Cannot Keep a Secret: Haruka lampshades this in the aftershow of "Slapstick cafe●REC!!", where Miku visibly struggles to keep a surprise the Virtual Singers had planned for the opening of their SEKAI Cafe under wraps, and ends up spilling it not long after Airi told her not to.
  • The Cutie: Almost all of the other Virtual Singers describe her as a cute idol in the official fan book.
  • The Generic Girl: In terms of characterization, she's essentially default Miku with a more defined love for stage performances. This is also reflected in her appearance, with her basically being base Miku with slightly shorter twin tails and an idol uniform.
  • Genki Girl: The SEKAI counterpart of Miku that's closest to her default personality, she also comes off as cheerful and upbeat.
  • The Ingenue: According to Airi, she has the image of a traditionally innocent and pure kind of idol.
  • Instant Expert: Became a pro at Karuta after playing it a single time.
  • Lovable Coward: Known to be one of the most easily frightened members of the SEKAI, though she proves to be less timid than Rin and MEIKO when they visit Phoenix Wonderland's haunted house, if only because she was more focused on comforting them than her own fear.
  • Luminescent Blush: She blushes visibly when KAITO compliments her Karuta playing skills in her "The Top Karuta-Playing Idol?" side story.
  • Nervous Wreck: She's wracked with nerves before MORE MORE JUMP!'s first solo show in Dear Me, From Back Then.
  • Nice Girl: She is defined by how unfailingly friendly and kind she is to everyone around her.
  • Out of Focus: She was hit the hardest of any version of Miku when it came to card distribution in Colorful Stage!'s first year, as she went a full year with no new cards after her initial 2☆ and her "The Big Debut" 4☆, both of which were given to her at launch. She wouldn't get a new card until her "The Top Idol of the Karuta World?" 3☆ from the 2022 New Years' event The Tomorrow We Hope For.
  • Pseudo-Romantic Friendship: She has a close relationship with Rin in this SEKAI that almost borders on Ship Tease.
  • Sweet Tooth: She shows a strong preference for sweet snacks such as caramel.
  • Tender Tears:
    • She cries Tears of Joy when Rin beats Len at Karuta.
    • Minori's speech in Dear My Past Self drives her and Rin to tears, and continues to do so every time they think about it thereafter.
  • Those Two Guys: She's been attached at the hip with Rin since launch, and the pair acts as an idol duo that has performed over 100 shows together.
  • Workaholic: Specifically when she's practicing by herself, she tends to forget to take breaks.
  • You Don't Look Like You: A notable aversion compared to Miku's other SEKAI counterparts. She looks the closest to the original Miku, with the only difference between them beyond their outfits being the length and thickness of their twin tails.

    Kagamine Rin
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mmj__rin_3rd_anniversary.png
I know you can do it.
Debut Appearance
Rin as she appears in MORE MORE JUMP!'s Stage SEKAI, where she's an amateur, up-and-coming idol.

She is the primary Virtual Singer of Stage SEKAI.
  • Bad Liar: In one Area Conversation, she becomes so flustered when she had to try to hide the fact that Minori and Shizuku were secretly staying behind in the SEKAI for extra practice that she ended up saying she didn't know anything, and then that she promised them she wouldn't tell in the same breath. Haruka and Airi end up feeling bad for asking her.
  • Big Brother Worship: She openly admires each of the other Virtual Singers, seeking advice from them and trying to emulate them in various ways:
    • She admires Miku's cute idol aura and, being the Virtual Singer she's closest to in this SEKAI, she often turns to her for help and advice, such as asking her to mentor her at Karuta.
    • She admires Luka's poise and dance skills, and sometimes tries to imitate them.
    • She admires how thoroughly MEIKO engages with her audience.
    • Although she's sometimes competitive with him, she often seeks Len out for advice, especially when it comes to setlists and acting as an MC, and she's occasionally dazzled by his princely idol aura.
    • She admires KAITO's organizational skills and seeks his advice when it comes to setting up her shows.
  • Can't Catch Up: She feels this way towards the other Virtual Singers due to being a relative Naïve Newcomer compared to them, which helps her to relate to Minori's struggles in Hear Me! Hopeful Show♪
  • Cute Clumsy Girl: She's less experienced as an idol than the other Virtual Singers, and sometimes makes mistakes such as getting wrapped up in hyping the crowd and missing her cue, or tearing her outfit after getting it caught on the stage.
  • Everybody Hates Mathematics: When Minori asks her for help with math homework, she immediately defers her to Luka or KAITO.
  • Everyone's Baby Sister: According to Airi, she gives off a "little sister" vibe as an idol and she's treated this way by both the other Virtual Singers and MORE MORE JUMP!
  • For Happiness: She puts a large emphasis on making the audience happy, and focuses on hyping up the crowd. The catchphrase she came up with (with Miku and Luka's help) references this:
Rin: Rin Rin♪ Delivery! It's Kagamine Rin with a package full of smiles♪
  • Friendly Rival: Despite admiring Len, she hates losing to him, getting upset when he beats her at Karuta and even when he presents her with a bouquet that's the same size as the one she got for him for their anniversary, as she'd wanted to give him the bigger gift.
  • Genki Girl: Always enthusiastic and eager to throw herself wholeheartedly into whatever she's doing.
  • Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: A bit more girly than some of the versions of Rin in other SEKAI due to being a cute idol, but she still has some of the tomboyish energy that she usually has.
  • Lovable Coward: Known to be one of the most easily frightened members of the SEKAI. When the group visits Phoenix Wonderland's haunted house, she's so terrified that the similarly timid Miku overcomes her fears to try to console her.
  • Mirror Character: To Minori, both being amateur idols who are cheerful and idealistic, but also naive and clumsy. Sometimes they make mistakes and become frustrated or insecure, but they're always able to bounce back because they want to spread hope and positivity to others through their idol activities.
  • Nervous Wreck: She's wracked with nerves before MORE MORE JUMP!'s first solo show in Dear Me, From Back Then.
  • Nice Girl: She wants to spread positivity and make others smile with her performances.
  • Out of Focus: Despite it being her base SEKAI, Rin hasn't gotten much better treatment than Miku:
    • While absent for less time than Miku, by the time of the game's second New Year's celebration, Rin hadn't received a card with the group for over a year. She wouldn't receive another card until the mixed event Secret Operation Valentine's Day, where she appeared as a 3☆.
    • She only has one commissioned song, Tenshi no Clover, and no SEKAI covers with the group as of the game's first anniversary. This is even less than Miku had gotten, as she had at least received a few SEKAI covers with the unit during her event card absence.
  • Plucky Girl: Optimistic, determined, and quickly bounces back from setbacks. Even the extremely diligent Haruka admires how hardworking she is.
  • Polar Opposite Twins: While they're not necessarily twins, she and Len share the same anniversary and looks, while having polar opposite personalities: Rin is energetic, emotional and a bit clumsy, while Len is almost always calm, collected, and poised.
  • Pseudo-Romantic Friendship: She has a close relationship with Miku in this SEKAI that almost borders on Ship Tease.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The energetic and emotional Red Oni to Len's calm and collected Blue Oni.
  • Sore Loser: She often gets upset when she doesn't succeed, or when she loses at games (especially against Len). In Miku's "The Top Karuta-Playing Idol?" story, she cries because she lost to Len at a game of Karuta.
  • Tender Tears: Minori's speech in Dear Me, From Back Then drives her and Miku to tears, and continues to do so every time they think about it thereafter.
  • Those Two Guys: She's been attached at the hip with Miku since launch, and the pair acts as an idol duo that consistently performs together.

    Megurine Luka
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mmjluka_8.png
Nice to meet you, Mr. Shoebill.
Debut Appearance

Luka as she appears in MORE MORE JUMP!'s Stage SEKAI, where she's a playful idol.

She first appears in the Color of Myself! event.

  • The Ace: Everyone immediately sees her as a talented big sister figure who is capable of anything, and a few Area Conversations emphasize how effortless she makes dancing look.
  • Bishie Sparkle: She knows how to dazzle others when she wants to, and tends to sparkle whenever she turns on the charm.
  • Cool Big Sis: Quickly established herself as a playful but helpful big sister figure.
  • Don't Call Me "Sir": She immediately asks to be referred to with the more familiar "-chan" as opposed to the more polite and respectful "-san". In the global version, she tells MORE MORE JUMP! that they don't need to be formal with her when Shizuku initially refers to her as "Ms. Luka".
    • She doesn't mind being referred to as a teacher or coach, however, finding it cute when the Wonderland SEKAI Kagamines do so in the 2022 April Fools' Day event.
  • Establishing Character Moment: When introducing herself to MORE MORE JUMP!, she jokes that she's heard some embarrassing stories about them and asks them not to address her formally, establishing her as a playful Gadfly who's One of the Kids.
  • Foil: To Shizuku. They both come across as The Ace due to their elegant and mature looks and their skills as idols while having goofier personalities than their appearance suggests. However, while Shizuku's goofiness comes from being The Ditz and she's insecure about that discrepancy, Luka's comes from being playful and mischievous, something she's proud of.
  • Friendly Tickle Torture: She does this to MEIKO in one Area Conversation, and Miku mentions that, at some point, she'd also done it to her in order to cheer her up. Apparently, it's her favorite trick.
  • The Gadfly: She likes to tease others, such as pretending to cry when Rin announces her solo concert and messing with MORE MORE JUMP! when she first met them by joking that she knew embarrassing secrets about them.
  • Nice Girl: While she can be mischievous, she's very kind and good-natured. For instance, when she notices KAITO had been helping out the other Virtual Singers so much that he couldn't make time for his own show, she offers to help him get his work done so he'll have some time for himself.
  • One of the Kids: She has a playful personality and prefers to be referred to with the more cute and familiar "-chan" due to wanting to feel closer and more included with the younger girls.
  • Out of Focus: Initially in the comics, but later averted. She was originally the only Stage SEKAI Virtual Singer to not receive an introductory comic until KAITO made his debut, and she didn't make a comic appearance until her cameo in Minori's 2021 birthday comic.
  • Proud Beauty: In the 2022 April Fools' Day event, she comments on how cute Wonderland SEKAI Luka is, and when Empty SEKAI Luka points out that she's essentially calling herself cute, she wholeheartedly agrees.
  • Rose-Haired Sweetie: Like every incarnation of Luka, she has pink hair, and she has a good-natured and playful personality.
  • Rubber Face: She does this to herself while divulging the fact that she has surprisingly stretchy cheeks to Shizuku, and one area conversation has MEIKO playing around with them too.
  • Smarter Than You Look: Despite how frivolous and playful she is, she's shown to be academically intelligent and makes a good, albeit playful, teacher.

    MEIKO
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mmjmeiko_9.png
Everyone! Thanks for coming!
MEIKO as she appears in MORE MORE JUMP!'s Stage SEKAI, where she's an energetic idol.

She first appears in the You Deserve It! Break Time! event.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Everyone calls her "Mei-chan" except for KAITO, Haruka and Airi. Averted in the global version, where everyone simply calls her MEIKO.
  • Bishie Sparkle: Like Luka, she sparkles when she turns on the charm, and somehow managed to open a futuristic locked door by doing so in an April Fools' Day event.
  • Boke and Tsukkomi Routine: Plays the Tukkomi to Miku's Boke in Tied by Painful Hope, when Miku suggests tickling Riho would resolve her analysis paralysis.
  • Don't Call Me "Sir": She tells MORE MORE JUMP! to call her "Mei-chan", an Affectionate Nickname bestowed on her by the other Virtual Singers, and while she doesn't seem bothered by it at first, she eventually asks KAITO why he calls her "MEIKO-san" and (unsuccessfully) tries to convince him to use her nickname instead.
  • Flat Character: One of the least defined characters in the SEKAI, with her only stand-out traits being that she's physically the strongest of the group and that she's surprisingly scared of ghosts and other monsters.
  • Foreshadowing: In a follow-up Area Conversation for Hear Me! Hopeful Show♪, Miku, Rin and Luka talk about group names, and come up with "Traffic Light" based on their signature colors. Luka mentions there being someone else who looks better in red than her, referencing MEIKO 6 events before she actually made her debut in You Deserve It! Break Time!
  • Genki Girl: She's one of the peppiest versions of MEIKO that exist across the SEKAI.
  • Hidden Depths: Despite generally coming off as a fearless Plucky Girl as she does in other SEKAI, Airi and Shizuku are surprised to learn that she's a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to things like ghosts and haunted houses.
  • Jack of All Trades: In one Area Conversation, Miku points out her ability to pull off a wide range of songs, from cute pop songs, to graceful and mature songs, to more hardcore songs.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Downplayed Trope, but her uniform has a slightly lower cut top than the others' and a stomach window.
  • Mythology Gag: She's described as a veteran idol, referencing the fact that she was the first Japanese Vocaloid to be released.
  • Nice Girl: Her specialty as an idol is her ability to bring unity to the audience by constantly engaging with them.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: She and KAITO trade roles depending on the situation. Usually, she's the plucky Red Oni to his calm Blue Oni, but when KAITO's emotions get the better of him, she becomes the Blue Oni to rein him in.
  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: Like Rin, she gives more passionate and energetic performances, and specializes in hyping a crowd, but she's still a feminine idol.
  • Training from Hell: Her exercise routines are notoriously Spartan, but effective. She puts Rin through this in the latter's "Brand New Stage" story.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Ghosts?: She's terrified of ghosts, zombies, and any spooky being you'd find at a haunted house.

    Kagamine Len
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mmjlen_6.png
Rin, your hat is crooked.
Debut Appearance
Len as he appears in MORE MORE JUMP!'s Stage SEKAI, where he's a princely male idol.

He first appears in the Happy Lovely Everyday! event.
  • The Ace: In contrast to Rin, he always has a dazzling idol aura, and is able to remain calm and level-headed in stressful situations.
  • Adorably Precocious Child: Despite presumably still being the same age as Rin in this SEKAI, he comes off as considerably more calm and mature, an image he strives to maintain as the prince of the stage.
  • The Bus Came Back: In-Universe, he mentions how he'd taken a break from performing to think of new ideas to please his fans, but returned in response to MORE MORE JUMP! starting their own idol activities.
  • Consummate Professional: He never seems to drop his calm, collected, and princely stage persona, and is often surprised when the other Virtual Singers aside from Rin drop theirs.
  • Establishing Character Moment: He's introduced having a debate with Rin over how to go about their upcoming performance, remaining very calm and polite even when she gets heated, establishing him as her Foil. He then introduces himself to MORE MORE JUMP! with such a dazzling idol aura that they immediately pin him as a Princely Young Man.
  • Friendly Rival: Though they're generally supportive of one another, and Len is usually very calm and collected, he admits that he hates losing to Rin when she finally beats him at Karuta.
  • Instant Expert: Consistently beat everyone aside from Miku when playing Karuta for the first time.
  • Mellow Fellow: His level-headedness is one of his defining traits in this SEKAI; he's not easily rattled, and he expresses his emotions and opinions in a very calm and controlled way.
  • Miko: Appears as one as part of the game's second New Year's celebration. He wears a light blue Hakama with a red and white hat.
  • Mirror Character: To Haruka, as emphasized in the comic version of his debut. They're both calm, mature, and down-to-earth, with a dazzling princely idol aura.
  • Nice Guy: He's very calm and polite, and just wants to please the audience.
  • Not So Above It All: He generally has a calm and mature personality, but while he isn't as blatant about it as Rin, he can be a bit of a Sore Loser too when it comes to his rivalry with her.
  • The One Guy: He was this for a time after his debut in Happy Lovely Everyday!, as KAITO wouldn't make his Stage SEKAI debut for another 11 events.
  • Polar Opposite Twins: While they're not necessarily twins, he and Rin share an anniversary and looks, while having polar opposite personalities: Len is level-headed, dignified and mature, while Rin is scattered, naive and sometimes childish.
  • Princely Young Man: His calm and polite demeanor, combined with his dazzling idol aura, has Shizuku compare him to a prince on a white horse. His introductory card is even called "Prince of the Stage".
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The calm and level-headed Blue Oni to Rin's passionate and emotional Red Oni.
  • Sharp-Dressed Man: Fittingly for a princely idol, both of his outfits make him look smart.
  • The Smart Guy: Out of Len's SEKAI incarnations, he is by far the most well-learned, even having knowledge about different kinds of performances outside of his idol activities, such as acting terms and props. He's also known to be highly skilled at tactical games such as Karuta and Chess.
  • Wise Beyond His Years: He's probably the most mature Virtual Singer in this SEKAI, being more serious than Luka and able to keep a level head in all situations, unlike MEIKO and KAITO.

    KAITO
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mmjkaito.png
Nice turn! I couldn't have asked for better!
KAITO as he appears in MORE MORE JUMP's Stage SEKAI, where he plays the role of an idol and manager to the other Virtual Singers.

He first appears in the MORE MORE Making Christmas event.
  • The Ace: He takes on many roles alongside being an idol, such as acting as a manager to the other Virtual Singers, and he appears to excel at each job. Haruka immediately notices that the stage is more elaborate than usual after KAITO shows up. He also seems to know what the other idols need before they know it themselves.
  • Beneath the Mask: Dear Me, From Back Then reveals that he's good at masking his emotions when he has to, acting completely normal and calm around MORE MORE JUMP! when he was actually anxious about their first solo show to the point of having trouble sleeping, because he didn't want to psyche them out by being a Nervous Wreck in front of them.
  • Benevolent Boss: While technically only their boss in spirit as he adopted a managerial role for the Virtual Singers and MORE MORE JUMP! as a hobby, he takes care of both groups and is lenient about any changes made to the schedules he makes for them.
  • Breaking Old Trends: Prior to the game's third anniversary, all of KAITO's non-commissioned SEKAI cover songs featured Akito and Toya from the group Vivid BAD SQUAD. On the third anniversary, it was announced that he would sing a cover of 40meterP's "Kiss the Villain" with MORE MORE JUMP!, marking the first time he would sing with a different group.
  • The Bus Came Back: In-Universe, the other Virtual Singers act as though he used to be around, but disappeared for a long time until his in-game debut. He explains that he was taking stock of the equipment across all the stages in the SEKAI. Considering there are a lot of stages in Stage SEKAI, this explanation makes some sense.
  • Composite Character: Shares traits with both Haruka and Minori, being diligent and reliable like Haruka, while also having a more excitable and emotional side, mostly when it comes to being a Fanboy, much like Minori.
  • Crazy-Prepared: He appears to know what the other idols need before they realize it themselves, making him an ideal manager stand-in for MORE MORE JUMP! as well as the other Virtual Singers.
  • Establishing Character Moment: In his appearance in MORE MORE Making Christmas and his first side story, the positive influence his work has on the other Virtual Singers is shown before he himself is, establishing him as The Reliable One who primarily works behind-the-scenes. While talking to Haruka for the first time, he briefly gets distracted to marvel at the other Virtual Singers' performance, showing him to sometimes be an excitable Fanboy despite otherwise being relatively calm and mature.
  • Fanboy: He explains to Haruka, and later Miku, that being a fan himself helps him to understand how other fans will feel while watching their performances.
  • Forgotten Birthday: He forgets about his own anniversary due to being so focused on his job, easily allowing the other Virtual Singers and MORE MORE JUMP! to plan a surprise for him.
  • Friend to All Living Things: According to MEIKO, he enjoys caring for small animals.
  • Genki Guy: He's usually calm and polite, but he becomes as excitable as a young child when he's in Fanboy mode, as exemplified by his excitement after watching MORE MORE JUMP! perform their first solo show in Dear Me, From Back Then.
  • Hidden Depths: He's introduced as being highly adept at everything related to idol-work but over time some of his weaker areas are revealed: He's not very good at art or design, and he only knows the basics when it comes to sewing. Due to often focusing more on backstage work than being an idol, he's also less physically flexible than most of the other Virtual Singers, and he struggles with improvising on stage to the point of being completely unable to answer any of Minori's questions when she tries to interview him on his anniversary.
  • Irony: In fanon, KAITO is often shown calling MEIKO "Mei-chan", which is the nickname she's referred to within this SEKAI. However, here he's the only Virtual Singer who doesn't call her Mei-chan, instead calling her "MEIKO-san". Interestingly, she's the only character who he refers to with "-san"; he uses the more diminutive "-chan" (or "-kun" for Len) for everyone else.
  • The Knights Who Say "Squee!": He's an idol as well as the other Virtual Singers' manager, but he's also a huge fan of theirs, and he can get very excited when he sees them perform.
  • Jack of All Trades: According to his introduction, he does everything related to the stage and backstage work, including being an idol himself, acting as a manager to the other Virtual Singers and MORE MORE JUMP!, stage preparation, lighting work, coaching... he's even a fan of the other Virtual Singers as fellow idols.
  • Miko: As part of the game's second New Year's celebration, he appears dressed as one. His outfit consists of a light blue hakama with a matching white and red earpiece.
  • Nervous Wreck: He's wracked with nerves before MORE MORE JUMP!'s solo show in Dear Me, From Back Then. When MEIKO prompts him to stay strong for Miku and Rin, who are also nervous, he tells them to stay calm and take some deep breaths while he's clearly still freaking out himself.
  • Nice Guy: He's very in tune with others' needs, and genuinely enjoys supporting them.
  • Obsessed Are the Listmakers: He apparently took so long to show up because he was making a log of the stock of all the equipment on every stage in the SEKAI, and he's also kept notes on the stages' set-ups for previous shows, as well as both his own and the other Virtual Singers' schedules. It turns out to be a good thing, as his checklist single-handedly resolved the other Virtual Singers' issues stemming from a lack of organization.
  • Out of Focus: In MORE MORE Making Christmas, which serves as his debut, he only appears in one chapter and only directly interacts with Haruka, with follow-up material suggesting that he met the others off-screen. He is, however, prominently featured in the event's song "Worldwide Wander", despite the lack of focus he got in the event's story. This is averted in the events that followed his debut, where he appears just as much as the other Virtual Singers do.
  • Princely Young Man: It's not as pronounced as with Len, but he equally has a prince-like charm when he's actually performing as an idol rather than focusing on behind-the-scenes duties.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: According to a side story, he's decent at sewing, a skill he uses to mend damaged or frayed outfits. An Area Conversation with Airi reveals that he has no issue with learning from female idols, as he believes they all share the same feelings of wanting to bring hope to the audience.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: He and MEIKO trade roles depending on the situation. Usually, he's the calm Blue Oni to her plucky Red Oni, but when he gets too excited or anxious, MEIKO is usually the one to play the Blue Oni to his Red Oni.
  • The Reliable One: Much like in the Wonderland SEKAI, he's mature and reliable, dealing with behind-the-scenes jobs and taking enjoyment from supporting others while also being a performer himself. They even have a small bonding moment over this in their April Fools' Day Area Conversation.
  • Schedule Fanatic: Downplayed in that he isn't rigid about sticking to schedules, but he has enough of a focus on them that he managed to learn the other Virtual Singers' unconscious habits and quirks before they themselves did.
  • Tears of Joy: MORE MORE JUMP!'s performance and the audience's reaction to it drives him to tears in the aftershow of MORE MORE Making Christmas. Miku points out that he's Prone to Tears when it comes to moments like that.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Ice cream, as with most versions of KAITO.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: Implied. The untrained art for his "What Arrangement Would Be Good?" card has him and Miku showing their costume arrangements to Shizuku. However, KAITO's outfit design quite clearly has a skirt, is drawn in his colors, and has an ice cream cone doodle beside it, implying it's for himself. The story and side stories also give no indication that the costume is for anyone else.
  • Workaholic: He takes on so many jobs that he doesn't often get downtime and sometimes has to postpone setting up his own concerts for lack of time, but he enjoys all of his work, regardless. Thankfully, the other Virtual Singers are always happy to lend him a hand when they see he's stretching himself too thin, a gesture he appreciates.
    • Even when he's removed from his usual SEKAI during April Fools' Day events, he usually continues working, whether by taking the opportunity to do some research or by extending his managerial responsibilities to whoever's around him, idol or not.
