Nanno

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nanno_girl_from_nowhere.jpg

Played By: Chicha Amatayakul

Nanno is an Ambiguously Human entity, who is claimed to be Satan's daughter. Her role is to give karma to sinners and expose the corruption in every school she goes to as a student.

  • The Ageless: Due to her immortality, she doesn't seems to age at all and still looks young, which is best featured in the two-parter "BFFS" where Nanno was in the school of her victims back in the 2000s and when they meet her again she still looks the same.
  • Break the Cutie: Poor, poor Nanno. She suffers from this because of Yuri putting her through a horrible Trauma Conga Line in the last two episodes of Season 2. Why you may ask? She just wanted to see Nanno suffer for fun.
  • Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite the fact she is a cunning and witty demon who isn't afraid to manipulate her victims, she is shown to be a kind hearted person on the inside who gives good karma as well to those who are genuinely good, namely T.K. and Ms. Nareumol. It is even shown that she gets along easily well with the students from "True Love" and "Liberation", who thank her for helping them at the end.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: How she feels about giving her powers to Yuri. She held out hope that after being such a bitch in her origins episode, Yuri would have a change of heart after she accidentally got her powers. However, after seeing Yuri get worse and worse to the point of being irredeemable, this causes Nanno to regret giving her powers and not doing anything to stop her which makes her culpable in her crimes and even begins to fear her.
  • Not Quite Dead: By the end of "The Judgement", she, after being stabbed by Waan, is seen standing on the balcony watching Yuri and Junko leave. Justified as Nanno is immortal.
  • The One That Got Away: For TK in "Lost and Found". Not that she wants it to be...
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Nanno never unleashes her wicked laugh at the end of "Lost and Found", instead silently walking away with tears in her eyes, reflecting how much she grew to love TK but can't stay with him.
  • Pet the Dog: Despite her love of making people feel despair through karma, there are times where she has good intentions.
    • Her friendship with TK is full of this, as she sets up a series of events that will ultimately let him see his father again, even for a short time.
    • In "Pregnancy", she helps console Petch over the fact that she's a teenage mother raising a child.
    • She's the one that lets Miss Naruemole start another relationshpi with another co-worker in "True Love".
  • Unwitting Instigatorof Doom: Her blood being soaked in the same bathtub Yuri was drowned in resulted in the latter getting her powers, causing Yuri to be revived and become a misery and pain obsessed monster who ruins others lives to ensure her happy ending.

     Yuri

Yuri

Played By: Chanya McClory

The main Big Bad of the series. Yuri is an unhinged schoolgirl and sado-masochist who ended up getting Nanno's powers and as a result, turns into a tyrannical megalomaniac who will kill anyone she deems a sinner, using revenge as an excuse for her crimes.

  • Arc Words: "Friend" serves as this for her. She constantly misuses that word when she claims to be someone's best friend or offers to be friends with someone when in reality she is setting up their inevitable doom and betraying them for her greedy and sadistic goals.
  • A God Am I: After getting Nanno's powers, Yuri exposes her vile and psychopathic side where she sees herself as the true descendant of Satan and is obsessed with destroying Nanno and becoming the new God of the world. It's even implied that she deludes herself into seeing herself as the real Satan after being reborn from Nanno's powers.
  • Alpha Bitch: Of the demonic psychopath variety, but before and after getting Nanno's powers, Yuri was shown to be a tyrannical mad queen who rules every school with an iron fist and punishes those who failed her with a death penalty, including Nanno.
  • Anti-Villain: At first it seemed like she was going to be this and would realise her mistakes and redeem herself. But the last two episodes of Season 2 completely subverts it horrifyingly when it is made clear that she is just a plain sociopath who wants to cause chaos that she could enjoy and destroys lives of not only the sinners, but also of the innocents as well, namely Jane and Nanno's.
  • Ax-Crazy: And very much so! Unlike Nanno who is The Stoic and is witty and cunning, Yuri is shown to be an extremely deranged and psychotic scumbag who fills the room with dread whenever she enters.
  • Barbaric Bully
  • The Baroness: She is of the Rosa Klebb variety.
  • Became Their Own Antithesis: She claims to hate powerful people in the beginning. But by the end of Season 2, she has become as greedy and tyrannical as the people she hated. She even has the traits of Nana, Tuptim, Kaye and Teacher A combined, but worse than them.
  • Being Tortured Makes You Evil: This was implied to be the case with her when Nana and Tubtim bullied her and had her raped, which turned her into a vile psychopath who is even worse than those two today.
  • Berserk Button: If you insult her methods and wound her pride and massive ego, you will end up facing death penalty. Nanno learns this the hard way when Yuri doesn't take it well after the former humiliates her in "Liberation".
  • Beyond Redemption: "The Judgement", shows that Yuri is far off the deep end and beyond reasoning, no matter how much Nanno tries to stop her. All the humanity she used to have or may have had is gone.
  • Big Bad: The main villain of the series overall. While she has been hiding behind the smokes and mirrors orchestrating and manipulating some of the events and planning more of her terrorist attacks, her role as the main antagonist becomes clearer by the end of the season 2 finale "The Judgement".
  • Boomerang Bigot: She claims to hate greedy and powerful people who use their wealth and status to get what they want without consequences when in reality she is one of them.
  • Bully Brutality: She is the real school bully, worse than the ones Nanno met as she is shown to torture, bully and kill students for her own amusement and destroys and tortures Nanno to get her out of the way of taking over the throne.
  • The Chessmaster: While Nanno is effective in her schemes to give karma to the sinners and corrupt students, Yuri is that one sinner who proves herself to be more manipulative and smarter puppetmaster who fools both her and the normal humans. She orchestrates and manipulates events that causes harm to both Nanno and the people she targets, whether they are evil or innocent. Her role as the chessmaster is emphasized after "Liberation" because now she is aware of what all skills and powers Nanno has and prepares any counterattack on her just incase she pulls off anything else against her and anticipates what will she do next.
  • The Con: Not only is she a serial killer but also a scam artist who fools and swindles all her victims out of their livelihood and ruins their lives. Her victims include Nana, Tubtim, Pattanwaniya school students and staff, Jane and eventually Nanno.
  • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: She is shown to be Playing Both Sides in her sadistic schemes and betrays both of the sides once they have outlived their usefulness for her.
  • The Determinator: No matter how many times her schemes fail and she gets punished for it at the end, Yuri is determined to defeat and destroy Nanno and evade karma for her crimes just so she could fulfil her new world ideology.
  • The Dreaded: Almost all the students and teachers in every school she goes to fears her and not without a reason, even Nanno begins to fear her at the end as she learns the hard way when Yuri targets to dispose her next at the end of Season 2.
  • Evil All Along: She was already established to be worse than the mean girls Nana and Tubtim once she took of her Mask of Sanity, but throughout the second season she is shown to be Nanno's arch-rival who competes with her over their methods of giving karma. But by the end of season 2 it is made clear that Yuri is a much dangerous threat to Nanno and others and "The Judgement" is when it ultimately cements her as the main Big Bad.
  • Evil Counterpart: For Nanno. Both are immortal demonic entities who go after the sinners, but Yuri is a murderous psychopath who destroys both evil and innocent lives just to gain profit and power and plans on starting a world domination with Junko as her muscle.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: Her selling out of Nanno to the mean girls and her callousness towards Nanno's kindness towards her shows that she has strong hatred for peace and kindness and she doesn't feel any love or care for anyone and only fakes it to get what she wants.
  • Expy: She could be this for Kanako from The World of Kanako. Both are schoolgirls who are at first introduced as sweet and innocent beings who charm the protagonists but they end up revealing their more evil sociopathic side and their innocent personalities were just a facade. They then proceed to torture the protagonists and causes destructions in their lives for no other reason than their own amusement. Bonus points for the fact that they had an ambiguous trauma of being raped and they own a sex crimes ring (Prostitution for Kanako and Rape Snuff Tapes for Yuri) and manipulate people around them fooling them into thinking they're their friends before killing them.
    • She is basically a high school version of Amy Dunne from Gone Girl. Like her, Yuri is also a violent manipulative sociopath who is shown to have a fragile ego and has no empathy for others and is remorseless about ruining people's lives for her personal gain. She also puts on a facade of an innocent and friendly victim before she reveals her more psychopathic side, where she fools her friends and charms them into liking her (like Amy conned Nick). She doesn't even take it well when someone wounds her pride and ego, namely Nanno and uses Disproportionate Retribution in her schemes to punish them for messing with her and always finds a way to make sure she always gets away with her crimes at the end.
  • Face of an Angel, Mind of a Demon: Unlike Nanno where this trope is part of her job but she isn't pure evil, Yuri loves to take advantage of this trope. Where she seems to be an innocent and sweet girl on the surface but underneath is a horrendous sadistic monster who wants to slaughter the entire population.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Her M.O. She will always put up a facade of a well meaning and friendly schoolgirl before she reveals her true self to attack her victims. Which was best shown in her Start of Darkness episode where she fooled Nanno and the mean girls who abused her.
  • Females Are More Innocent: Averted and Deconstructed as she is shown to be no way innocent but continues to misuse this trope for her sadistic activities.
  • Female Misogynist: She sees Nanno and women similar to her inferior to her and claims she is way better than them and sees Nanno's behaviour for her methods as and improper.
  • For the Evulz: She tortures and kills innocents and tries to destroy Nanno merely because she simply wants to have fun and enjoy destruction after becoming immortal. It's clear she should've gone elsewhere to do her job but it's clear she wants to destroy Nanno merely for her own amusement and fun.
  • Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: The reason why Yuri is such an evil and cruel person today was because she was bullied and sold to be raped by Nana and Tubtim and was treated like a servant by them. However, before and after getting Nanno's powers, she ends up becoming more and more corrupt and tyrannical in her approach and only wants to gain profit and power, which exposes her as a Hypocrite who is no better than those two girls.
  • From Nobody to Nightmare: From a seemingly innocent bullied girl to a psychotic and abusive megalomaniac hell bent on destroying humanity irreparably.
  • God Save Us from the Queen!: She sums up this trope as she is willing to put anyone on the chopping block regardless of how severe their crime is or they even try to insult, punish or disobey her.
  • Hate Sink: After revealing her true colours, everything about her becomes detestable. Even after getting revenge on those two mean girls and ends up getting Nanno's immortality, she could've just done her own business. But no, she sadistically wants to torture Nanno and destroy her for no other reason than for her own amusement and cause chaos because she wants to have fun.
  • Hidden Villain: It isn't until the end of Season 2 where she is revealed to be the main Big Bad. What's worse is that she is that one corrupt sinner who is powerful than Nanno and actively makes sure to avoid getting karma from her.
  • Hidden Agenda Villain: While we do know that Yuri was abused and bullied by Nana and Tubtim, we never actually got a clear motive of what really made her a cruel and monstrous sociopath and why does she want to destroy Nanno and then rule the world with an iron fist.
  • Hope Crusher: She is the one who ends up bringing eternal darkness and despair to the entire series ever since she entered Nanno's life and makes her miserable and weak. She makes sure to eliminate Nanno and plunge the entire world into hopelessness and despair.
  • Irrational Hatred: She hates Nanno with passion and wants to see her suffer and die for her own amusement and makes it a goal to ruin Nanno's life.
  • It's All About Me: It's clear she sees herself as the real victim and the star of the show and sees others as irrelevant and useless, including Nanno and kills those who not only commit crimes but threatens her place in the spotlight.
  • It Gets Easier: Averted as she sees committing crimes such as murder as an everyday normal activity for her.
  • Invincible Villain: Yuri reveals herself to be this at the end of Season 2, showing that she is a psychopath who will make herself immune to karma and be one step ahead of others. She will not only execute those who are sinners in her eyes, but also those who dare to cross her, with Nanno being the first victim of her threat.
  • I've Come Too Far: She expresses that now that she has gotten Nanno's powers, she is willing to make innocents suffer and destroy lives to gain power and wealth and will kill anyone who gets in her way.
  • Karma Houdini: By the end of Season 2, she has committed multiple crimes including murder and intentionally destroyed innocent lives, including Jane and Nanno's, in order to achieve her goal of power and wealth, and yet she suffers no consequences for it and walks free with Junko as her partner-in-crime.
  • Knight of Cerebus: What differentiates her from all the other sinners Nanno took down. She is a manipulative remorseless psychopath who, after getting Nanno's powers, makes sure she commits multiple evil deeds on innocents and get away with it easily with no karma for her actions. She turns out to be the dreadful Invincible Villain in the series Nanno won't be able to take down easily, which bring a whole new darkness to the series and shows that nothing's the same anymore, turning the series from an anthology thriller to a dystopian thriller.
  • Lack of Empathy: Unlike Nanno who despite being an entity can feel things for someone, Yuri is incapable of feeling any real emotions and she only fakes it when it's convenient to her.
  • Manipulative Bastard: The most frightening part about her, she easily manipulates people around her to cause chaos for her satisfaction or do her bidding. She manipulates Jane into betraying Nanno, gaslighting her into thinking she sold her out and manipulates Junko and her mother Waan to assassinate Nanno so that Yuri would overthrow her to start her tyranny.
  • Mirror Character: She turns out to be this for Miss A from "Liberation". Both are women who have an Iconic Outfit and a ponytail to signify them as sociopathic totalitarians who are willing to kill or torture their victims if they dare disobey them and break their rules and even tries to kill and torture Nanno for daring to stand up to them.
  • No Sympathy: She is shown to be completely empty to the point she has no care or sympathy for anyone around her and doesn't care why they do what they do but just wants to ruin their life because she can. Jenny X fell victim to that.
  • Omnicidal Maniac: She exposes herself to be this as she reveals her real plan to spread her powers and let the world be destroyed irreparably.
  • Person of Mass Destruction: After getting Nanno's powers, she turns herself into this and makes Junko the same one as well.
  • Practically Joker: She is a gleeful psychopath who seemingly had a dark past which made her this way, becomes obsessed with torturing and destroying the protagonist who delivers justice and saves lives and wants to create chaos and destruction to benefit herself.
  • Pride: A huge part of her personality. Yuri believes that she is superior to everyone around her and has a huge hatred for anyone she sees as lower than her and believes herself to be absolutely correct about everything, even if it means killing people for no reason and will do anything to protect her ego and power.
  • Psychopathic Womanchild: Justified that she is a teenager but she still has shades of this, which makes her even creepier. She acts very eager and excited whenever she kills and tortures someone or sees somebody else do it as if she is having fun at an amusement park and has a tendency to throw temper tantrums when things don't go her way because of Nanno ruining her plans.
  • Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist: She claims she has the same goals as Nanno and wants to help abuse victims like her, but in reality, she is just a greedy psychopath who just wants to kill people for fun and destroy Nanno for ruining her plan to take over Nana and Tubtim's business. It is even clear she doesn't care about the real victims like Jane at all and only favours those who are as evil as her, like Junko.
  • Sadist: She takes pleasure in making her victims suffer for her own amusement.
  • Satanic Archetype: She clearly fits this bill of being one. Like how Satan rebelled against God out of pride and spite, decided to lead an army of demons and is obsessed with destroying God, Yuri is shown to be jealous and envious of Nanno and decides to destroy her life and torture her to punish her and form her own army of evil criminals to destroy the world, with Junko as her first member. She even enjoys torturing and killing innocents to gain power and wealth and has so much fun doing it without any remorse or empathy. Even her ponytail hairstyle with red ribbon is akin to that of the Devil's horns, signifying her true pure evil nature.
  • Sex Is Violence: It's clear that violence and murder arouses Yuri.
  • Serial Killer: She turns out to be this when after she got Nanno's powers, she went after those who she deemed as "sinners" in her eyes and murdered them in cold blood. It is even clear that she kills people not for justice, but only for her own amusement and satisfying her lust for power and murder. She even adds Nanno to her victim's list when the latter begins to wound her pride and ego, forcing her to remind Nanno who she is dealing with.
  • Slasher Smile: Her signature, which makes her even more terrifying and disturbing because she always smiles while seeing her victims suffer.
  • Slowly Slipping Into Evil: Her entire season 2 arc can be summed up into this, culminating in her becoming the main Big Bad.
  • The Sociopath: What she really is as she shows signs of being a clinical sociopath throughout the series. She is a tyrant who has no regard for human life and uses revenge as an excuse to commit crimes and murder people for fun, regardless if they are good or bad. Which shows her as a person who was born rotten from the beginning. Unlike Nanno who genuinely feels bad for others and tries to help them, Yuri is good at faking empathy or niceness to her victims but never actually feels them.
  • The Social Darwinist: Of the type 6 variety, but she only tortures and kills those whom she deems weaker than her regardless of whether they are evil or innocent and always teams up with like-minded psychopaths like Junko to cause more chaos and destruction because she sees them as stronger to defeat the weaker.
  • Soft-Spoken Sadist: One of the most disturbing things about her. But whenever she tortures her victims before killing them, she is eerily calm and enjoys seeing them suffer in their last breath.
  • Then Let Me Be Evil: Angered at the humiliation and failure Nanno caused her in "Liberation", Yuri finally decides to embrace her true evil and sociopathic self and become a monster if Nanno and others will always see her as one.
  • They Look Just Like Everyone Else!: One of her signature moves is to put on a facade of an innocent, friendly and well meaning schoolgirl in order to hide her true vile and psychopathic side.
  • Unreliable Expositor: She may be implied to be this since her true sociopathic nature foreshadows that her background may have not been real at all and it's possible she faked it to con Nanno and everyone around her, just to show she enjoys being evil for the sake of it and getting Nanno's powers has made her free to be a psychopath without consequences.
  • Villainous Breakdown: She has one in "Liberation" when her plans to cause chaos in the school fails when the students sell her out to the headmaster and Nanno then takes over to end the madness caused by her and lock her in the room with her clones and teachers to feed on her blood. This event is what permanently broke Yuri's already fractured psyche and turned her into a much worse monster by the end of Season 2.
  • Virtue Is Weakness: She disgusted with kindness, compassion and peace in the world and hates it completely, which is evidently shown when she happily betrays Nanno and lets her get "killed" by Nana and mocks her kindness towards her and gleefully destroys Jane's life just to gaslight Nanno.
  • Walking Spoiler: Everything about her true colours is kept a secret until the end of Season 2.
  • With Friends Like These...: Yuri is fond of fooling everyone into believing she will be best friends forever with them, but it's only a ploy on her part to use and torture them for her evil plans.
  • With Great Power Comes Great Insanity: This is what happens when a deranged Hitler-like sociopath gets a hold of Nanno's powers.
  • Wolf in Sheep's Clothing: She keeps a facade of a nice, sweet and innocent girl in order to achieve her vile and cruel goals.
  • You Are What You Hate: By the end of Season 2, she has become exactly like those bullies who abused her and treated her like a servant in the past, where she ends up abusing others and ruin lives for her own amusement and profit.

     Junko

Junko

Yuri's henchwoman who is a serial killer killing students and teachers in her school for "bullying" her.

  • Big Bad Duumvirate: With Yuri at the end of Season 2.
  • The Brute: She becomes one of Yuri's strongest and most deadliest henchwoman in her cult.
  • Karma Houdini: Both her and Yuri get away with their misdeeds at the end of Season 2.
  • The Mole: Not only is she revealed to be Evil All Along but is also working for Yuri to help her in her goal to assassinate Nanno.
  • Self-Made Orphan: She betrays and kills her mother at the end.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: She executes her mother Waan once she has done her job in helping her and Yuri assasinate Nanno.

I-Tim

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/i_tim_girl_from_nowhere.png
Played by: Pajaree Nantarat
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Her jealousy about Nanno's popularity - combined with Nanno's admittedly bitchy comment about I-Tim's weight - leads I-Tim to conspire with Neung and his friends to rape Nanno, going as far as to bring sleeping pills to slip into Nanno's drink.
  • You Are Fat: Nanno's comment about I-Tim's weight acts as her Start of Darkness, as it's the moment where she begins to turn against Nanno.

Taew

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/taew_girl_from_nowhere.jpg
Played by: Thitinan Khlangphet
  • Jealous Romantic Witness: Taew becomes very upset when she catches Neung staring at Nanno, while Taew is trying to help him study for an upcoming test.

     Introduced in S 1 E 06 Wonderwall, Part 1

Bam (Wiphada Cheunchom)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bam_girl_from_nowhere.jpg
Played by: Morakot Liu

The manager of a school soccer team. She has a huge crush on the star player, O, who doesn't reciprocate her feelings. Nanno spots her writing hateful graffiti on the bathroom wall, and decides to make everything written on the wall come true. At first Bam is delighted, but things quickly get out of hand...

  • Be Careful What You Wish For: She learns the hard way about this trope. At first she only uses it to get revenge on Nanno, but later she finds herself horrified at how she made a janitor hang herself and then how her wish made everyone in the world vanish.
  • Can't Take Criticism: She becomes upset when the players on the team point out that her spiky demeanour and blatant favouritism of O makes her a poor manager.
  • Dogged Nice Girl: Constantly goes out of her way to do things for O in an attempt to win his affection, such as cheering loudly for him during practice and at games, and bringing him sports drinks and clean towels.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: She bristles when Teng and Por talk about the new manager (who turns out to be Nanno) that the coach has appointed to help her manage the team. Things only escalate from there when she sees that O - the boy she has a crush on - likes Nanno a lot more than her.
  • Everyone Has Standards: While she's willing to use the wall to make Nanno have a smelly face or zits, she's horrified at what everyone else uses the wall for.
  • Foreshadowing: One of the things she sees as things go From Bad to Worse is one female student chased by multiple men. That ends up as her fate as everyone in the school chases after her when Nanno says that she's going to erase the markings on the wall.
  • Hypocrite: She justifies ignoring O's teammates Teng and Por by saying they didn't score at all during the game. When Teng points out that he did score in the previous game, and she ignored him then too, she brushes him off.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: She's horrified at what she did in killing the janitor and hastily wipes her scribbles away. After she realizes her wish on how to make everyone disappear, even herself as her reflection goes missing and she loses her voice, she ends up crying in her bathroom in horror at what she did.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: She was trying to comfort Good over her bullying by talking about the wall...and she comes to realize how everyone in the school uses it to get revenge on others.

Good

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/good_girl_from_nowhere.png
Isn't it satisfying now? When we can make them pay for what they did to us?
Played by: Pinsuda Saimai
A clever student that's being bullied by a group of popular girls. When the bullying escalates to physical attacks, Bam tells her about the wall and how she could use it to solve her problems. However, while Bam started out using the wall to get petty revenge on Nanno, Good goes much further.
  • Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: Good is beaten up by Fah and Fon for giving them incorrect answers for homework, and it's implied that this bullying had been going on for some time, without intervention from other students or teachers. This probably doesn't justify Good using the wall to compell Fon to commit suicide, and make Fah lose her sanity.
  • Ironic Name: Despite being named "Good", she does things that could be classified as evil, without showing any regret or remorse. If anything, she seems to be happier after taking violent revenge on her bullies.
  • Revenge: As soon as Good realises that everything written on the wall does come true, she uses it to exact brutal revenge on her bullies, revealing some vindictive and violent tendencies.

     Introduced in S 1 E 08 Lost and Found

TK

"I like being with you [Nanno]. Please don't disappear on me."

A boy that Nanno meets in the episode "Lost and Found", who steals items in order to obtain something that he wants the most: his father's attention.

  • Ambiguous Situation: He notes that Nanno will eventually leave him once she had his fun. Whether or not he had an inkling on what she really is or it's him generalizing because he's had no friends prior is up in the air.
  • Anguished Declaration of Love: His final words of "Lost and Found" is him begging Nanno to stay with him, implying that he fell in love with her. Alas, she leaves without a word to continue her mission.
"What if I don't wanna lose someone? I don't wanna lose you..."
  • Character Development: Grows from a troubled youth who steals valuable things to a self-sacrificing boy who does his time and learns to value what's important to him — his relationships with his father and Nanno.
  • Cry into Chest: Upon seeing his father again, he rushes towards the old man to embrace him with a sob.
  • Did Not Get the Girl: He doesn't get to stay with Nanno because she still has a mission to go through. His last scene is for him to state that he doesn't want to lose her...only for her to silently walk away in the rain with tears in his eyes.
  • Friendless Background: He's never had a friend due to constantly moving around and not having his dad there all the time.
TK: I've never had a friend before. I was always alone.
  • Humble Goal: He's a pickpocket, but he doesn't want money at all. He just wants his father's love and attention. Out of all characters in Season 1, he's the only one who gets what he wants albeit at the cost of him unable to be with Nanno again.
  • Incorruptible Pure Pureness: He's the only person throughout the series who Nanno cannot tempt because she has no idea what exactly what he wanted and because he cared more about her safety than his own. Even with the plot to steal all the school funds going sour he tells Nanno that he'll take the blame for it and rips a check in disgust.
  • Karmic Jackpot: His goodness and willingness to protect Nanno rewarded him with to see his father again. However, he still got karma from having to not be with Nanno ever again.
  • Lovable Rogue: He's a pickpocket who steals things that of value to others, but he's so sweet and charming that you can't help but sympathize with him, especially since what he wants is his father's love.
  • Nice Guy: The nicest guy in the entire series, to the point that even Nanno was charmed by him. Even when Nanno had him framed for the theft of the school's funds, he did get to see his father again for a short time, and he accepts his punishment.
  • Only Known by Initials: He's only known as TK.
  • Parental Neglect: His father being busy at his job has caused him to pickpocket in order to get him to notice.
  • Please, Don't Leave Me: Begs of this of Nanno. Unfortunately, she has no choice but to in order to complete her mission.
  • Pinky Swear: Does this with Nanno in the hopes that she'll stay with him.
  • The Promise: Just before their heist, he states that he'll take the blame for Nanno if something goes wrong in their heist, however he also points out that a promise is there "to make us feel better about ourselves".
  • Screw The Money Im Doing Whats Right: When a lawyer representing TK's father decides to just give money to the principal to let the whole thing slide, TK decides to tear the check apart in disgust. This ultimately cements it in Nanno's eyes that TK is deserving of seeing his father again and that he doesn't care for money at all.
  • Star-Crossed Lovers: He and Nanno end up this way as she walks away from his life to continue her mission.
  • Taking the Bullet: He tells Nanno that if something goes wrong in their heist, he'll take the blame for it.

Introduced in Season 2

     Introduced in S 2 E 01 Pregnant

Nanai

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nanai_girl_from_nowhere.png
Played by: Teeradon Supapunpinyo
A popular boy who has a habit of seducing the girls in his school, getting them pregnant, and leaving them high and dry. Nanno decides to give him a taste of his own medicine.
  • Break the Haughty: At the start of the episode, Nanai is in a pretty good place. His parents are wealthy, he's the most popular boy in his school, an accomplished judoka, and a shoo-in for Student Council president. By the end of it, his father has kicked him out of the family home, he's the laughing stock of the entire school, he can't practice judo anymore, and of course, he's now raising a child on his own.
  • Hypocrite: When he breaks up with Nanno, the reason he gives her is that she looks at him like he's an object, despite viewing Nanno as a potential conquest from the moment he first saw her. Nanno calls him out on this, and then hints at what is to come.
Nanno: Maybe after today...you'll start to feel something deep inside
  • Jerk Jock: Of a sort, Nanai is the star member of the school's judo team, thinks nothing of shoving his best friend to the floor in order to get Nanno's attention, and of course, makes a habit of abandoning his conquests once he's gotten what he wants from them.
  • Mirror Character: Of Season 1's TK. Both of them are known to steal things, but TK steals small things like money and treasures people find valuable, whereas Nanai steals other girls' chances of having normal lives by leaving them pregnant. TK was always a nice person through and through despite his sticky fingers, whereas Nanai is a jerk who doesn't care that he hurts others. Their treatment of Nanno are huge contrasts as well. TK always saw Nanno as a friend, even to the point of declaring his love for her, with Nanno rewarding him by letting him see his father again. But Nanai only sees Nanno as an object and Nanno is ready to ensure his father is ready to leave him to his fate by being pregnant.
  • Mystical Pregnancy: His pregnancy is very odd from its own conception, since there's no explanation on how Nanno even managed to do it beside her possible reality warper powers and if she could even be considered a parent or the kid is solely his. There's also an apparently very short time between the conception and the birth, since his coincides with Petch's, who was already months pregnant before him. Not to mention that the universe seemed willing to make him raise the child no matter what he tried.
  • Lack of Empathy: Nanai doesn't care about the girls he gets pregnant have to go through, whether it's the trauma of an abortion, or the social stigma of being a teen mother and raising a child alone.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Nanai has gotten several girls pregnant, and then abandoned them to face being a teen mother alone. So what does Nanno do to him in retribution? The exact same thing.

Played by: Theerarat Wongchuen
One of Nanai's past conquests. She's heavily pregnant, and ostracised by the other students at the school.
  • Morning Sickness: Petch is shown to suffer with morning sickness during her pregnancy.
  • Nice Girl: She warns Nanno about the bet the other students have on how long it will take for Nanai to sleep with her, and also goes to sit with Nanno at lunch when she sees Nanno eating alone. Later on, when Nanai tearfully apologises for what he did, she gracefully accepts his apology and tries to offer some comfort.
  • Struggling Single Mother: Her pregnancy is difficult for her, as she's not only dealing with the physical toll it takes on her body, but also her peers ostracising her socially. However, her chats with Nanno seem to have emboldened her, as by the end of the episode she's able to calmly tell Nanai that she's happy with the choices she's made.

One of Nanai's classmates. At first she tries to warn Nanno off Nanai, telling her of his reputation for sleeping with girls and then breaking up with them. As it turns out, she's not entirely immune to Nanai's charms herself.
  • Not So Above It All: While she scolds Jheng for wanting to bet on how long it will take for Nanai and Nanno to sleep together, she quickly gives in and places a bet of her own. She also decides to sleep with Nanai later in the episode, despite warning Nanno earlier about his playboy reputation.
