Big Brother 24 Houseguest Tropes

The Winner

Taylor Mackenzie Dickens Hale (The Winner)

Taylor Mackenzie Dickens Hale

Born: Dec 31, 1994
Age: 27
Hometown: Detroit, Michigan
Current City: Detroit, Michigan
Occupation: Personal Stylist
HOH Wins: 2 (Week 6, Week 11)
POV Wins: 0
Nominations: 6 (Weeks 1, 2, 4, 8, 10)
Have Nots:
Prizes Won:
Punishments Taken: 1 (Week 6: Skid and Fancy - must spend 48 hours chained to a Houseguest of her choice while both wear punk rock costumes and speak in a Brooklyn accent, chose Joseph)
Finished: 1st
Evicted: N/A
HOH Evicted Under: N/A

  • Born Lucky: Is the clear target to be sent home during the first week, but she manages to stay in the game when Paloma self-evicts for her mental health, which cancels the planned eviction. And then despite the incredible amount of Irrational Hatred toward her, Taylor survives the block six times and makes it all the way to the final two against all odds, even winning near-unanimously.
  • Butt-Monkey: Gets picked on by the entire house due to Paloma and Jasmine turning everyone against her, but then things get better for her.
  • Cargo Ship: In Week 5 she says she'd never fall for someone, then it cuts to Joseph and you think she's talking about Joseph. Nope, it's her Lays potato chips. Then it turns out she DOES get feelings for Joseph.
  • The Cutie: Viewers tend to find her adorable for how kind she is even to those who are mean to her, her cute appearance, and her awkward but endearing moments in general.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: And how! Taylor began her journey ostracized and bullied due to misunderstandings and preconceptions but persevered, found her footing and allies, and when Monte chose to take her with him to the Final 2, she gave one of the greatest jury speeches ever, and won the game and became America’s Favorite Houseguest due to viewers rooting for her! And she deserved it.
  • From Zero to Hero: The entire house outright loathed her and very heavily bullied her at the start, but as the game progressed she found her footing in the game and turned many of her enemies into friends, and in the end she won the season.
  • Honor Before Reason: Refused to nominate Jasmine on her Head of Household because she did not want to be the reason for a woman of colour (like her) to be evicted.
  • Incorruptible Pure Pureness: Frequently says that her housemates are good people despite how badly everyone has treated her, and even when Daniel blows up at her in a fit of rage for no good reason, she says that viewers should still treat him with kindness when he leaves the house because she thinks he’s a good person despite that. She also prays for Nicole’s mom while Nicole is insulting Taylor in the other room. Because of all of this and more, many viewers think that Taylor is too kind for her own good and overly forgiving to people who wrong her.
  • Irrational Hatred: Was subjected to this, all over a misunderstanding.
  • Karmic Jackpot: After everything she went through during the season and constantly having to fight her way though an uphill battle nearly every week while maintaining a kindhearted and graceful demeanor, Taylor not only ended up winning the entire season in the same finale dress people first attacked her over, but ended up making history twofold as not only the first black female winner in BB history, but the first ever winner to also receive the coveted AFH title.
  • Nice Girl: Easily one of the kindest houseguests, even tending to Jasmine’s needs after she twisted her ankle despite knowing that this most likely wouldn’t change the fact that Jasmine was putting her on the block anyway.
  • Pass the Popcorn: Not popcorn but she eats her Lay’s potato chips while watching Daniel explode at Monte, happy for once she's not Daniel's target.
  • Sheep in Sheep's Clothing: At first, many of the houseguests accuse her of being manipulative and shallow, and precede to ostracize her. Except, she's just as nice as she seems, and the accusations about her were completely false.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: After Taylor stayed over Pooch, New HoH Matthew Turner decides to target her when Ameerah, Daniel, and Nicole made her a scapegoat. However, when Michael wins the Veto again and he, Joseph, Monte, and Kyle come together on what they’ve been told, he realizes the truth of Pooch’s boot and decides to switch his target to Ameerah. They then pull Taylor, Michael, and Britney into an alliance called The Leftovers, finally giving Taylor some friends and comrades. To say fans were ecstatic is an understatement.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Taylor really, really loves Lay's potato chips, and it reached Memetic Mutation levels in social media, to the extent that both fans and other houseguests had spoken about how Lay's should hire her as a spokesperson for commercials and the like. The official Lay’s twitter account even acknowledged Taylor and declared they were only watching for her, even live tweeting during finale night.
  • Underdogs Never Lose: Taylor, after being on the block six times and being bullied and misjudged throughout the game, makes history as the first black woman to win Big Brother and the first player to ever with both the game and AFP.
  • You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Once most of the house sees the truth about her situation, she receives a speech of this type from Joseph.

The Runner Up

     Monte Vincent Taylor (The Runner-Up)

Monte Vincent Taylor

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/montebb24_6.png

Born: May 20, 1995
Age: 27
Hometown: Bear, Delaware
Current City: Bear, Delaware
Occupation: Personal Trainer
HOH Wins: 2 (Week 4, Week 10)
POV Wins: 2 (Day 65, Week 11)
Nominations: 2 (Weeks 5 (Vetoed) and 7)
Have Nots: 1 (Week 1)
Prizes Won:
Punishments Taken:
Finished: 2nd
Evicted: N/A
HOH Evicted Under: N/A

  • Defeat by Modesty: Somewhat - he wound up getting disqualified in the final five veto because he had to stop and take a shower, whereas everyone else just threw on whatever they had.
  • Graceful Loser: Even though Monte did much better in the game with regards to strategy and competitions, he still lost to Taylor by an 8-1 vote. He took his loss to Taylor very well.
  • Pair the Spares: Discussed - In week 10, Monte talks about how he and Taylor are the only ones eligible for a showmance.
  • Tragic Mistake: When Monte became the final HOH, he could have taken either Taylor or Turner. He chose to take Taylor because he believed that he could win against her more easily than against Turner. Unfortunately, he overestimated the importance of competition wins and big strategic moves, and he underestimated Taylor’s ability to connect with others. He paid for his misjudgment by losing to Taylor 8-1, but at least he was gracious in defeat.

The Jury

Matthew Robert “Turner” Turner (Evicted HG #14, Juror #9)

Matthew Robert “Turner” Turner

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/turnerbb24_1.png

Born: May 21, 1999
Age: 23
Hometown: North Attleboro, Massachusetts
Current City: North Attleboro, Massachusetts
Occupation: Thrift Store Owner
HOH Wins: 3 (Weeks 3, 8, Day 65)
POV Wins: 0
Nominations: 1 (Week 7, Week 11)
Have Nots: 1 (Week 4)
Prizes Won:
Punishments Taken:
Finished: 3rd
Evicted: 1-0
HOH Evicted Under: Monte

  • The Baby of the Bunch: Turner is the youngest player, after Paloma self-evicted back in Week 1.
  • Catchphrase “That’s Fire”.
  • The Dragon: To Pooch, the Leftovers, the After party. Later becomes one to Monte and the two work together to get Michael out.
  • Good Is Not Nice: Turner is generally a pretty decent guy, but he's had plenty of mean spirited moments throughout the season. He was on board with the bullying of Taylor very early on in the game, but he does change his mind about her later and befriends and aligns with her. He was unnecessarily mean to Jasmine though he his reasons for not liking her were completely justified.
  • Guys are Slobs: Something made fun of by the Zingbot.
  • Heel–Face Revolving Door: He starts the season going along with Taylor’s bullying, until he wins HOH, at which point Joseph convinces him to not target Taylor and instead create The Leftovers and target the biggest house bullies instead. He’s much kinder for a while after this, until he betrays Joseph and becomes somewhat of an antagonist again. Then near the end of the game he decides to save Taylor over Alyssa, bringing out his more heroic side again, but then plans to take Monte over Taylor during the finale despite knowing that he would probably lose to Monte, simply because he didn’t respect Taylor enough to consider her a deserving winner. In the end he’s the one vote for Monte during the finale, but had enough heroic moments during the season to not be a full antagonist. And then there’s all of his Good Is Not Nice moments toward Jasmine and Brittany, where he was much meaner to them than he really needed to be but only because they were mean to Taylor, further complicating things.
  • Last-Name Basis: His first name is Matthew but everyone calls him by his surname, Turner.
  • Only Sane Man: He has his moments, when everyone is wishing his arch enemy Jasmine a happy birthday, he just cringed the whole time and was about to burst out laughing, also was the founder of the Leftovers.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: Jasmine was one of the bullies during Taylor's hazing, so he does NOT like her, period, constantly making faces at her, eating her muffin, and overall trolling her.
  • Troll: Ate Jasmine's muffin specifically to troll her.

Brittany Nicole Hoopes (Evicted HG #13, Juror #8)

Brittany Nicole Hoopes

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/brittanybb24_4.png

Born: Dec 3, 1989
Age: 32
Hometown: Austin, Texas
Current City: Austin, Texas
Occupation: Hypnotherapist
HOH Wins: 0
POV Wins: 4 (Weeks 3, 5, 7 & 10)
Nominations: 5 (Weeks 3 (Vetoed), Week 8 (Vetoed), Day 65, Week 10 (Vetoed), Week 11)
Have Nots:
Prizes Won: 1 (Week 1: Backstage - immune from nomination, but cannot compete in challenges or vote, can be evicted in special competition against the nominated Houseguest that gets the most eviction votes, Backstage Immunity - selected by America to be immune from the eviction competition)
Punishments Taken:
Finished: 4th
Evicted: 1-0
HOH Evicted Under: Taylor

  • The Cassandra: Kept telling Michael that he had to evict Turner instead - turns out to have been the Cassandra Truth as Turner wins the next Head of Household and evicts Michael.
  • Dragon Ascendant: To Michael becoming the final obstacle in Monte and Turner's path to the end forming a Girls Gurlz 2.0 alliance with Taylor and Alyssa.
  • Heel Realization: Though originally on board with aligning with Kyle for pragmatic strategy reasons with Michael, Kyle’s increasingly racist and bigoted stances, as well as his rather heartless actions in making the well-liked and definitely not white Joseph look like a Leftovers Traitor and getting him evicted, causes the two to realize what a horrible mistake they’d made. Michael and Brittany then own up to their alliance with Kyle, as well as his true role as the “anti-Cookout” traitor, as a way to atone for their involvement.
  • Lady Macbeth: Played this role to Michael, being that voice in his head
  • Oh, Crap!: When she realized that the vote was a tied vote.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: Surprisingly for a relatively nice houseguest, she plots to pin the extra votes for Nicole on Indy and Alyssa, who, while not the nicest houseguests, are much less threatening than Daniel, Nicole, Ameerah, Jasmine, and Paloma.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Was able to win the counting confidence POV challenge by making moderate guesses and possibly hypnotizing other players to fold. Then she was able to win a veto.
  • Took a Level in Dumbass: In the beginning she seemed like she knew the game, but then she ratted on the Girls Gurlz alliance, making her a target.

Alyssa Nicole Snider (Evicted HG #12, Juror #7)

Alyssa Nicole Snider

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/alyssabb24_7.png

Born: Nov 3, 1997
Age: 24
Hometown: Siesta Key, Florida
Current City: Siesta Key, Florida
Occupation: Marketing representative
HOH Wins: 0
POV Wins: 0
Nominations: 4 (Week 4 (Vetoed), Week 9, Day 65 (Vetoed), Week 10)
Have Nots: 1 (Week 3)
Prizes Won: 2 (Week 1: Backstage - immune from nomination, but cannot compete in challenges or vote, can be evicted in special competition against the nominated Houseguest that gets the most eviction votes; Week 6: $5,000)
Punishments Taken:
Finished: 5th
Evicted: 2-1
HOH Evicted Under: Monte

  • Ascended Fangirl: Was a fan of Big Brother long before.
  • Abhorrent Admirer: For Kyle. She’s not ugly by any means, but she’s clearly got an unhealthy obsession with him, shown by a comment about licking him, and can’t seem to take the hint that he’s just not all that interested in her.
  • Book Dumb: knows very little about geography as evidenced with Kyle.
  • Brainless Beauty: She's quite attractive, but her intelligence is incredibly low, most notably with her lack of knowledge about geography.
  • Cannot Keep a Secret: Ends up spilling alliance info to both Kyle and Indy and doesn’t seem to realize what she did until someone explained it to her.
  • The Ditz: She's certainly not that bright, especially with her lack of knowledge about geography.
  • Dumb Blonde: She mixed up Newark with Denmark, thinking the former was the happiest country in the world.
  • Last of Her Kind: The last person left standing to have never been a member of the Leftovers.
  • The Load: The Zingbot made fun of her for this with how she was the only person to not win a single comp.
  • Making Love in All the Wrong Places: Kyle and Alyssa made love on an inflatable butterfly floatie in the Have-Not room.
  • "Shaggy Dog" Story: Her entire story in the house. She had tried very hard to win comps only to always end up losing. She manages to help flip Kyle away from the Leftovers. Then she points out that Taylor is a genuine threat and she isn't much of one, was perceived as The Load. Then she ends up getting evicted at final five.
  • Token Good Teammate: Downplayed; as while she was rather critical of Taylor, she wasn't as bad as people like Paloma, Ameerah, Nicole, Daniel, and Jasmine. Also, unlike them, she soon comes around to respect Taylor and see her more as a threat to win the game.

Michael Brian Bruner (Evicted HG #11, Juror #6)

Michael Brian Bruner

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/michael_69.png

Born: Aug 1, 1993
Age: 28 at the start, now 29
Hometown: Rochester, Minnesota
Current City: Rochester, Minnesota
Occupation: Attorney
HOH Wins: 3 (Weeks 5, 7, and 9)
POV Wins: 6 (Weeks 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 and 9)
Nominations: 2 (Weeks 1 (Vetoed) 3 (Vetoed) and Day 65)
Have Nots: 1 (Week 1)
Prizes Won:
Punishments Taken:
Finished: 6th
Evicted: 3-0
HOH Evicted Under: Turner

  • Affably Evil: A superfan and genuinely nice for the most part, just don't put him up or volunteer to go on the block.
  • The Ace: Has won six Veto competitions and has come close in several Head of Household competitions. Overlaps with Always Second Best. He also became the HoH in Weeks 5, 7, and 9. Suffice to say he's accidentally proven himself to be a potential winner pick by many.
  • And There Was Much Rejoicing: Fans were celebrating his eviction - not because he was despised like Kyle or Daniel, but because he had been overlooked as the obvious threat for so long until the house finally caught on and took their shot at him.
  • Disc-Two Final Boss: Michael was a competition beast, winning the most veto competitions out of any Houseguest ever, as well as a master strategist. He seemed like a shoo-in to win the season... and then the double eviction happened and he was sent out the door with just three weeks left in game.
  • Expy:
  • Heel Realization: Though originally on board with aligning with Kyle for pragmatic strategy reasons with Brittany, Kyle’s increasingly racist and bigoted stances, as well as his rather heartless actions in making the well-liked and definitely not white Joseph look like a Leftovers Traitor and getting him evicted, causes the two to realize what a horrible mistake they’d made. Michael and Brittany then own up to their alliance with Kyle, as well as his true role as the “anti-Cookout” traitor, as a way to atone for their involvement.
  • Honor Before Reason: His Fatal Flaw as a player - he had several chances to potentially take out a larger target (Monte, Turner) but he didn't want to take it as he felt it was not the time. Sadly, it would be Monte and Turner who would take him out in the end.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Another recipient of it this season. Brittany told him that it would have made the most sense to evict Turner. Sure enough, Turner was the one who sent him out. He was also seen as "weaponizing the politically incorrect comments" by several people both in the house and out.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • While his alliance with her may seem pragmatic, he's one of the only people willing to give Taylor the time of day. Solidified when he makes a final 3 with her and Brittany.
    • While he had quite the Villainous Breakdown, he did admit that them evicting him was a good idea since he would have done the same.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Similar to Daniel and lTerrance, Michael simply walks towards the exit without saying goodbye to anyone.
  • The Smart Guy: Michael is very intelligent and he's an attorney for a living.
  • Straight Gay: A very mild-mannered player of the LGBTQ community after a long trend of Camp Gay contestants.
  • Token Minority: An openly gay man with a pleasant demeanor. He has a fiance named Hayden whom he loves dearly and kisses his engagement ring as as a sign of affection. Hayden also called production out on not showing his HOH letter on the TV broadcast (but live feeds did) after all the other HOH winners got theirs spotlighted, and in response, Michael's second HOH win for Big Brochella included the letter-reading segment.
  • Too Powerful to Live: Michael was the comp beast of the season, winning three HO Hs and six vetoes, but this made him a threat and was eventually evicted because of that.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: If you consider Turner a "hero" at least, he says he would never have considered putting Turner on the block for being another member of the LGBTQ+ community, even when it would have been to his advantage.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Throws his ally (Brittany) under the bus, doesn't even hug her on his way out, and seems to practically have a heart attack as he is evicted. He did admit that they had a good reason to evict him, however.

Terrance Lamont Higgins (Evicted HG #10, Juror #5)

Terrance Lamont Higgins

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/terrancebb24.png

Born: May 20, 1975
Age: 47
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
Current City: Chicago, Illinois
Occupation: City Bus Operator
HOH Wins: 1 (Week 7)
POV Wins: 1 (Week 7)
Nominations: 5 (Weeks 1, 3, 5 (Vetoed), 6, and 9a)
Have Nots: 1 (Week 2)
Prizes Won:
Punishments Taken: 1 (Week 6: Ink-182 - must get 182 temporary tattoos affixed to his body when called, starting from the veto competition up until the eviction)
Finished: 7th
Evicted: 4-0
HOH Evicted Under: Michael

  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Terrance acted kind and friendly towards Taylor to her face, but it was all just a front, as he would constantly say all manner of nasty and demeaning things about her behind her back.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: He turned out to be surprisingly good at competitions with visual elements. Only Michael was better than him.
  • Dragon Ascendant: Originally, Terrance was just a number who didn't question alliance lines and took orders from other players. This changes once he becomes the Head of Household and Power of Veto holder of Dyre Fest, then uses Kyle's intel on the Leftovers alliance to send Joseph packing. Until then, Terrance had been playing a quiet and naive game, but once he cottoned on to being tricked by the Leftovers to get put on the block and throw Otev, he started taking big moves and playing seriously.
  • Mook: The main enforcer of Daniel and Nicole, but he's terrible at the game early on, and his bullying of Taylor comes off as him trying to impress Daniel. He does better playing as an individual when the Jury phase begins.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Like Daniel, after Terrance is evicted, he bolts for the exit without saying goodbye to anyone.
  • Taking You with Me: Promised to try and poison the jury against Michael. Little did he know that Michael followed him.

Kyle Joseph Capener (Evicted HG #9, Juror #4)

Kyle Joseph Capener

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kylebb24.png

Born: May 17, 1993
Age: 29
Hometown: Bountiful, Utah
Current City: Bountiful, Utah
Occupation: Tech Sales
HOH Wins: 0
POV Wins: 2 (Week 4, Week 6)
Nominations: 3 (Week 5, Week 7, Week 8)
Have Nots: 1 (Week 1)
Prizes Won:
Punishments Taken:
Finished: 8th
Evicted: 5-0, Episode 25, Day 58
HOH Evicted Under: Turner

  • And There Was Much Rejoicing: It’s probably safe to say that a lot of live feed viewers were delighted when he was sent to the jury, due to his becoming a Politically Incorrect Villain.
  • Big Bad: At the time of his eviction, he was the most hated player by live feed viewers because of his intent to target all of the non-white players. While he used the fact that black players dominated the previous season as a justification, viewers still found his rhetoric racist because of these fears seeming completely unjustified on his own season.
  • Face–Heel Turn: Initially one of the first founding members of the Leftovers, Kyle reacts rather poorly to the suggestion of being put on the block by Monte in order to get his “Bestie” Daniel out. The paranoia and such it causes sends him into a downward spiral of jumping into a showmance with Alyssa, who he was initially repulsed by due to her stalkerish behavior towards him, and going into a lot of “POC vs white” rants that just line up with the same troublesome behavior of the non Leftovers. By the time he and Daniel were put up, despite earlier push for Daniel to leave, fans admitted they would be fine if Kyle lost too. And he eventually did.
  • Humiliation Conga: His last week in the house was definitely this. Along with being outed as the traitor that exposed the Leftovers and sent Joseph home, Kyle’s proposal for an all-white alliance to combat a supposed Cookout 2.0 was revealed by Michael and Brittany. Both of them then exposed his comments to the house starting with Taylor and Monte, then Kyle’s showmance Alyssa, and then the HOH Turner. Monte then told Terrance about these comments as well. When Alyssa informs Kyle about what was happening, Kyle began questioning other houseguests and trying to explain himself. Following a house meeting confronting his actions, Kyle is put up as a replacement nominee at the Veto meeting. Alyssa (who Kyle has been protecting for most of the game) breaks off their showmance and Kyle all but tearfully accepts that his game was done. Soon after, he ends up being evicted unanimously.
  • Insane Troll Logic: After the fourth week, he suddenly becomes paranoid that a “Cookout 2.0” (as in, a follow-up to Season 23’s alliance comprised of all of the black houseguests) could be happening despite seven out of the eight houseguests who had been up for eviction to that point all being black. If his season actually did have a “Cookout 2.0”, they would be doing an absolutely terrible job considering how frequently his cast was sending the black contestants home.
  • Making Love in All the Wrong Places: Kyle and Alyssa made love on an inflatable butterfly floatie in the Have-Not room.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: Starts going down this route after his Insane Troll Logic fear of a Cookout 2.0. His attempts to convince Michael, Brittany, and Turner to target all of the remaining non-white players made many viewers think he was being racist.
  • Villainous Breakdown: After finding out that Michael and Brittany were telling people about his Cookout 2.0 comments, he panicked and insisted he was not bigoted before making a beeline to the Diary Room.

Joseph Ammar Abdin (Evicted HG #8, Juror #3)

Joseph Ammar Abdin

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/josephbb24.png

Born: July 23, 1997
Age: 24 at start, now 25
Hometown:
Current City: Lake Worth, Florids
Occupation: Lawyer
HOH Wins: 0
POV Wins: 0
Nominations: 2 (Week 5, Vetoed, Week 7)
Have Nots: 1 (Week 1)
Prizes Won:
Punishments Taken: 1 (Week 6: Skid and Fancy - chosen by Taylor to spend 48 hours chained her while both wear punk rock costumes, with Joseph speaking with a British accent)
Finished: 9th
Evicted: 2-0, Episode 22, Day 51
HOH Evicted Under: Terrance

  • Ambiguously Bi: While Joseph clearly has a thing for Taylor, him cuddling and getting intimate with Pooch earlier on in the game has led fans to speculate as to whether or not he could be bisexual.
  • Everyone Has Standards/What the Hell, Hero?: When Kyle revealed his thoughts about there being a Cookout v2.0, Joseph severely criticizes Kyle for that.
  • Fake Brit: Invoked. During the Skid and Fancy punishment, he has to speak all his lines with a very fake british accent.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Pooch.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: Pretends to be a dumb jock and hides his skills at chess along with Michael.
  • Ooh, Me Accent's Slipping: He wasn't very good at his fake British accent, much to the house's amusement.
  • Ship Tease: With Taylor oddly enough, Taylor mentions that Joseph was the first friend she ever had and she has a crush on him, he's returning her affections.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: On his 25th birthday, he has an epiphany about just how awfully Taylor has been treated and goes out of his way to make sure that she’s no longer the house’s punching bag. This has led to some fandom memes that either Joseph’s brain needed to reach age 25 before activating, or that 25-year-old Joseph is just an entirely different person who was brought in secretly by production to replace 24-year-old Joseph.

Jasmine Denise Davis (Evicted HG #7, Juror #2)

Jasmine Denise Davis

Prizes Won: 1 (Week 6: Trip to London)
Punishments Taken:
Finished: 10th
Evicted: 2-0, Episode 22, Day 51
HOH Evicted Under: Michael

  • Blatant Lies: Despite being of African-American descent and having Afro textured hair, Jasmine insists that she is a natural blonde despite her HOH room photos telling otherwise.
  • The Bully: Like several other houseguests, she treated Tayloe horribly.
  • But Not Too Black: Jasmine is African-American but she's very light-skinned and insists that her natural hair color is blonde (though it's obvious that it isn't).
  • Everyone Has Standards: When Kyle revealed his thoughts about a Cookout v2.0, she stood there with her mouth wide open.
  • Ooh, Me Accent's Slipping: Has a fairly average southern accent on the live feeds, but during live shows and her diary rooms her accent is greatly exaggerated.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: At first it was Taylor due to unnecessary hatred, but then it quickly shifted over to her former "Festie Bestie" Turner, mainly due to an incident where he ate part of her muffin just to troll her.
  • The Load: Twisting her ankle turns her into one big time, since she uses it as an excuse to get people to do things for her and skip competitions. Even production decided she was really starting to push her boundaries here.
  • Twisted Ankle: She twisted her ankle during the challenge for HOH. She milks it like hell later on for sympathy points, to the point that she outright starts skipping competitions and production has to step in and tell her to knock it off.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: While she didn't intend to suffer from a Twisted Ankle, it's pretty clear she was inentionally doing this to make people underestimate her and take a target off of her back.

Indiana Crislei "Indy" Santos (Evicted HG #6, Juror #1)

Indiana Crislei "Indy" Santos

Finished: 11th
Evicted: 7-1, Episode 19, Day 44
HOH Evicted Under: Taylor

  • The Bully: Like many of the other houseguests, she treated Taylor terribly.
  • Dumb Blonde: She definitely has shades of stupidity. Her antagonistic behavior was uncalled for, knowing that Big Brother is a social game.
  • Dramatic Irony: On the week of her eventual eviction, she suffers the Punkitard punishment and gets harrassed day and night by a rude rocker voice who keeps calling her a loser and making her play humiliating songs.
  • Everyone Has Standards: When Kyle reveals his thoughts about a Cookout V2.0 (and included her in it, despite her being white) she is quite angry that he would say such a thing.
  • Humiliation Conga: Indy turns into an easy target for the Leftovers to pick off when Kyle refuses to send Alyssa out the door. She also goes through a misery-inducing punishment with and realizes she's a pawn being sent to Jury.
  • Kick the Dog: Treats Taylor like garbage to the point that she even threatens to throw hot soup in Taylor’s face at one point, despite Taylor always being nice to her and seeming to have no issue with her.

  • And There Was Much Rejoicing: After the way he treated Taylor, pretty much nobody (especially the viewers) were sad to see him go.
  • The Bully: Rallies the house against Taylor with Paloma for a misunderstanding and makes several demeaning comments about her, even when everyone else has apologized despite claiming to be a supporter for women's rights.
  • Disc-One Final Boss: Was a large presence during his time in the house, only to just barely miss out on the Jury.
  • Epic Fail: Daniel and Nicole, his closest ally, are adamant in getting Taylor voted out, so Daniel decides to use the Power of Veto on nominees Alyssa and Indy, with replacement nominees being Taylor and Nicole, all this in spite of current HOH Monte actually offering Daniel a lifeline and saying he'd rather Daniel let nominations remain how they are. The end result is Nicole almost unanimously getting voted out, to Daniel's anger. He complains later that night that he saw this coming from the moment Monte said Daniel shouldn't use the Veto, and if this is true, it makes him look even worse for using the Veto despite knowing what the outcome would be.
  • Expy: Has things in common with Memphis Garrett especially in Big Brother 22, being a nearly middle aged guy who hates a houseguest for little reason, rallies the house in hazing said houseguest and is borderline racist. Also shares traits with Jack from 21 being a thoroughly unpleasant person who belittes a woman, gets his "friends" to haze said woman and did we mention the woman in question was black?
  • Humiliation Conga: Daniel’s last two and a half weeks in the house was this. First, his ally Ameerah gets blindsided by the newly-formed Leftovers alliance. Then, when he and Kyle wins the Veto, he uses it and makes Monte put up Taylor and Nicole in an attempt to eliminate the former... despite the latter being his own ally. He and Nicole become cocky, thinking they have the votes to get Taylor out, only for Nicole to be evicted with only Daniel voting to keep her. Realizing his game was crumbling and having pretty much nobody by his side, Daniel is brought to tears in the confessional and has a meltdown in the kitchen. Following this, he loses the HOH to Michael (who Daniel had put on the block during his week as HOH), doesn't get picked for the Veto, fails to convince Michael to go after Monte since he's aligned with him, and Daniel is swiftly backdoored and evicted, all the while missing out on the Jury. To top off his humiliation, in his goodbye messages, Michael calls Daniel an "Idiot Sandwich" (a reference to a meme from The Late Late Show) and Taylor saying she's happy that his "sorry ass is out the door".
  • Jerkass: He was the first to target Taylor and has a rather Irrational Hatred of her. Thankfully, he's evicted one week before the Jury phase.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After he's evicted, Daniel immediately heads to the exit, saying goodbye to nobody else other than Terrance.
  • Villainous Breakdown: After his closest ally Nicole is evicted and having nobody else on his side, Daniel tears up in the Diary Room and lashes out at Monte (who was the HOH) as well as several other houseguests in the kitchen.

  • Beta Bitch: Acts as Daniel’s second in command with his schemes.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Nicole liked to proclaim that she was a nice, optimistic, and friendly person. However, her behavior while in the house and her poor treatment of Taylor left much to be desired.
  • Boyish Short Hair: Nicole has the shortest hair out of all the female houseguests.
  • Brawn Hilda: Nicole has a slightly muscular and masculine looking physique.
  • Butch Lesbian: Downplayed, but she identifies as queer and has Boyish Short Hair and often wears more masculine clothing.
  • By-the-Book Cop: Nicole used to be a cop, before she turned to a career in cooking.
  • Epic Fail: Apparently, Nicole learned nothing from Pooch when she decided to volunteer to go up as a pawn to get rid of Taylor. And like Pooch, it ended up backfiring against her,
  • Karmic Eviction: Evicted next to Taylor.
  • The Lad-ette: Nicole is a Butch Lesbian with Boyish Short Hair, wears masculine clothing, swears like a sailor, has many tattoos, and prefers the company of men.
  • Massive Numbered Siblings: Nicole comes from a large Puerto Rican family and is one of five children. She has three brothers and one sister.
  • Older Than They Look: Nicole is in her early forties, but she looks much younger than her age and she has a very energetic and youthful personality to match.
  • One of the Boys: Nicole seems to prefer the company of men. Her closest allies in the game were Daniel and Terrance. However, she was in alliance with Jasmine and Ameerah as well. She had a Final Two alliance with Daniel called Rogue Rats.
  • Only in Florida: Nicole is originally from the state of Florida.
  • Out of Focus: The one pre-juror who didn’t get to speak at all during the finale.
  • The Pollyanna: Nicole has described herself as optimistic and has a very positive outlook on life. It's unfortunate that she couldn't apply that ideology while she was playing the game and acted like a nicer person.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Gets a pretty dang iconic one from Taylor on the night of her eviction over her and the rest of the non Leftover’s endless shade and bullying toxicity that they have been throwing in her direction since day 1. Taylor then tops it off in her goodbye message, chastising Nicole for choosing to go up as a pawn.
  • Spicy Latina: Nicole has a strong-willed, passionate and feisty personality and she is of Puerto Rican descent.
  • Supreme Chef: Nicole is a chef for a living so it can be assumed that she is very good at cooking. She is a private chef and she cooks on yachts and residencies. She was the head teacher at the San Francisco Cook School.
  • Tattooed Crook: Nicole was a villainous character and she had many tattoos on her body.
  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: Nicole is a tomboy but she's also has some minor feminine qualities. She likes to wear makeup and jewelry and she's a good cook.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Daniel. He was her closest friend and ally in the game and they had formed a Final Two alliance called Rogue Rats.

Ameerah Shay Jones (Evicted HG #3)

Punishments Taken: None
Finished: 14th
Evicted: 7-4, Episode 10, Day 23
HOH Evicted Under: Turner

  • Alpha Bitch: Ameerah is the embodiment of a catty, bitchy mean girl. She was an absolute bully to Taylor. When the opportunity came for Ameerah to come to the realization of how badly she talked about Taylor, she rejected it. Ameerah had too much pride and arrogance to admit her wrong doings in the game.
  • The Fake Cutie: Is an adorable-looking person, especially her big front teeth which resemble a bunny rabbit. However, despite her cute looks, she was one of Taylor’s biggest bullies with only the incredibly over-the-top bullying of Paloma, Jasmine, Daniel, and Nicole outdoing hers, and she was overall seen as an obvious villain by the viewers because of this.
  • Jerkass/Redemption Rejection: While many of the houseguests who bullied Taylor Took a Level in Kindness during the finale and treated Taylor with much more respect than they had in the house, Ameerah used her moment during the finale to continue being mean to Taylor for no reason.
  • Manipulative Bitch: She knows the game just as well as the others and gladly assists Nicole and Daniel in the Taylor hazing.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: After helping Daniel and his alliance blindside Pooch, she helps him and Nicole with the lies to pin the whole thing on scapegoat Taylor, certain that her already poor reputation would mean she would be sent home easily. However, a conversation between Turner, Kyle, Monte, and Joseph over all the different things they’ve been told put those plans to a screeching halt. The four realized that 1. Ameerah and the others claims didn’t add up and that they were being lied to, and 2. Every bit of abuse Taylor has been getting for the past few weeks has been completely unjustified and fueled on nothing but wordtwisting and preconceptions. Because of this, not only do they offer apologies to Taylor and bring her into the new “Leftovers” alliance, but they rally Michael and Brittany to help them send home Ameerah by having her and Terrance named as the replacement noms, and eventually, she is indeed sent home.
  • Tempting Fate: In one confessional, she says that Big Brother isn't as hard as she thought and looks forward to more backstabbing. That same week, she's blindsided by being put up on the block and evicted.

HOH Evicted Under: Jasmine

  • Casanova Wannabe: He tries so hard to be a Casanova. Too bad for him that none of the female houseguests buy it.
  • Epic Fail: Volunteers to go on the block in an attempt to get Taylor out. To say everyone decided he's an easy vote to send packing instead of Taylor is an understatement.
    • Solidified when he goes home as a result of a unanimous vote.
  • Expy: As an Italian Casanova Wannabe from the Tri-State area notorious for his toxic masculinity, along with the house voting him out unanimously early in the game, many viewers think he’s uncannily similar to Brent Champagne from Season 23.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Pooch is edited to look like a bumbling antagonist player in prerecorded episodes, but on the live feeds, he's used a lot of foul language, acted downright disrespectful toward the ladies, and said particularly unkind things about Taylor.
  • Icy Blue Eyes: Pooch has very piercing light blue eyes and it's his most noticeable physical feature.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Appears to be an early powerhouse, setting forth a group that can follow his will... and volunteers to go on the block. He gets evicted against his target unanimously.
  • My Death Is Only The Beginning: His eviction causes Turner to win HoH.
  • Reality Show Genre Blindness: For a supposed superfan, he sure has made quite a few blunders. He says good Big Brother players can't be afraid to go on the block. Unfortunately, he overestimated his place in the house.

Paloma Angeliki Aguilar (Evicted HG #1) note

Paloma Angeliki Aguilar

Punishments Taken: None
Finished: 16th (Walked)
Evicted: Walked, Episode 4, Day 8
HOH Evicted Under: Daniel (Walked)

  • The Baby of the Bunch: She was the youngest contestant.
  • Female Misogynist: She was the main instigator for hating on Taylor, since she was using her femininity to try and form an alliance with the guys.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Despite campaigning to get Taylor evicted, her quitting ended up derailing the Backstage Boss twist and canceling the eviction. Taylor, who was nominated that week, then went on to win the game.
  • Non-Gameplay Elimination: Due to constant anxiety and sleep problems, she decided to leave the game on Day 8. This causes the Backstage twist to end prematurely as she would have been up for eviction alongside Alyssa due to being chosen by the Backstage Boss Pooch (Brittany was also chosen but was voted by America to be given safety). It also cause the challenge that was supposed to be used between the evicted houseguests to decide who would stay to be turned into the first part of the HOH Competition.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: Despite leaving the game on her own accord in the first week, she played something of a role in Taylor's ultimate win, as Taylor very clearly would have gone home if Paloma stayed.
  • Sympathy for the Devil: How her quitting is seen. Mental issues and anxiety are certainly no fun to deal with, but given that she was the main instigator of the consistently petty, unfounded, and borderline racist abuse that Taylor is still facing despite her absence, many people online agreed that it was hard to feel completely sorry for her, and that it certainly did not excuse her actions up to that point. Some even showed incredulousness at the fact that the same houseguests who gladly joined in the Taylor hazing reacted to Paloma leaving with tears and a prayer circle like she was suddenly the victim in all this.
  • Villainous Legacy: Despite only being in the house for one week, Paloma had so much influence that she managed to get the entire house to vehemently hate and bully Taylor for anywhere from weeks to months after she left the game. While some houseguests such as Joseph and Turner changed their mind about Taylor later on and became her friends, many others such as Jasmine, Daniel, Nicole, Ameerah, Pooch, Indy, and Terrance all continued to despise Taylor long after Paloma planted those seeds and left the game.
