To all those people out here, the New Hollywood era is my personal favorite era in Hollywood. The reason why is because this is when films grew a spine and actually explored issues in the world. Some of my favorite films from this era are:

Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, American Graffiti, Easy Rider, Midnight Cowboy, Apocalypse Now, The Godfather, Scarface, The Outsiders, Rosemary's Baby, The Deer Hunter, and Chinatown

P.S. Scarface and The Outsiders are at the tail end of the era.

I am actually a Christian teenager but it should be surprising I like these films, but I do. If the Hays Office was still around. These films never would have seen the light of day. I'm happy the Hays Code is gone.

Does anyone know which film the page image is taken from? I think it's Two-Lane Blacktop, but I'm not sure.
