Shouldn't be Sephie from To Love Run series be here? Sephie is Lala's mother and it is said that she causes every male (with 2 exceptions, that being her own husband, Gid, and Rito) , even animals, to be attracted to her.
Edited by AsuraBG Hide / Show RepliesExcuse but i noticed several missed opertunities here in western animation:goofy and shaggy are missing and they are quite the ladies men and under video games how is it that yandere simulator is on this site yet taro yamada isn't in this category?
Edited by DisneyguyIsidro from Berserk a Chick Magnet? For only two girls? And where is showed that Shirke (one of the two of abowe) has something for him?
Edited by Amon_RaIs Guts really an example of this? Most of the women falling for him are given perfectly justified reasons why they do so. And there are plenty of women in Berserk who show no interest in him.
So um, the image of Bruce Wayne is cute and all, but I'm in love with this hilarious photoshoot of Benedict Cumberbatch. Particularly the bottom-center one. I think it sums up the trope quite nicely. Does anybody else agree with me?
Edited by van_squirgle Hide / Show RepliesNot really. Half of them don't even look like they're caressing him - just sort of awkwardly slapping their hand on him.
"If there's a hole, it's a man's job to thrust into it!" — Ryoma Nagare, New Getter RoboNot an example as written. Ship Tease is a different article — we need specifics about how these characters function as this trope.
- Homestuck: John, Dave Strider, Tavros and Sollux. John was shipteased with Rose, and most notably Vriska. Dave has received similar ship tease with Terezi and Jade. Tavros is a bit less lucky attracting the likes of the aforementioned Vriska Serket who's idea of flirting seems to be bullying relentlessly. And also Gamzee Makara...which is a whole other can of worms. Lastly is Sollux who has had canon relationships with Aradia and Feferi.
I'd like revive a crucial topic from the archived discussion and call a troper referendum on splitting Dude Magnet from Chick Magnet.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. Hide / Show RepliesSeconded, although I think Dude Magnet is already a separate trope — it's called Hello Nurse. At the very least, Dude Magnet should redirect to Hello Nurse. Dude Magnet is also arguably a much better name than Hello Nurse, but that discussion is already happening in Hello Nurse's Trope Repair Shop at the time of this post.
I'm confused as to why the Chick Magnet description calls Hello Nurse the female version of Chick Magnet if there is a folder of female Chick Magnet examples. This would make sense if it contained examples of female characters with many (in-work) female admirers, but instead I'm seeing examples that, according to the Chick Magnet page itself, should be in Hello Nurse.
Is this just a case of the female folder needing cleanup?
Edited by Embryon "If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And even if it is broke, just ignore it and maybe it'll be sort of OK — like the environment."Well, what I'm confused about is the fact that a Chick Magnet will unintentionally attract a considerable number of female love interests/fangirls, and Hello Nurse also attracts a harem, but it may or may not be intentional. She's really just a sort of in-universe Ms. Fanservice, as opposed to a Dude Magnet, who in theory never intended to gain a harem.
