openPage ownership issues and rudeness Webcomic
PrincessPandaTrope and I are the only two people who frequently edit the page for the Sonic the Hedgehog fan comic Ghosts of the Future. I'm starting to understand why nobody else wants to edit the page. She keeps sending me PMs after I edit, saying that she's "very disappointed with" me for not phrasing things exactly the way she wanted.
One example would be my latest edit, where I removed the word "very" from a lot of edits, since it's a word that usually doesn't do any good. Saying "the house is very big" doesn't actually give you any more exact info about how big the house is than if you just say "The house is big."
She PMed me and said that I should have replaced it with a more descriptive adjective instead, without explaining why she couldn't do that herself.
She also said that I was giving the middle finger to the comic's creator, Evan Stanley, by replacing "very [adjective]" with a plain "[adjective]". She said that I was misleading people about the content of the comic this way—as if I had changed an exact measurement to one less exact or accurate.
And then there's the time when she asked people to cut down the wall of text in one entry, and then when I did that, she asked me to explain why I deleted things. I tried to be polite, but I wondered why she even asked for help if she expected people to follow rules she never bothered mentioning.
(Then, in an act of Edit Warring, she put back things I'd taken away.)
It feels like she's decided that my only task is to fix the grammar and spelling mistakes she keeps making again and again. It also feels like she's got this idea of how the page must be written that she assumes everybody else knows and she therefore chooses never to tell people about.
To be frank, she's acting like she's Knuckles the Echidna and the GotF page is a Chaos Emerald. ('Cause she's acting like its guardian, geddit?)
Short version: This troper is rude, keeps edit warring and has page ownership issues, and it's getting very tiring.
Edited by MichaelKatsuroopenRecreating some of the YMMV pages for White Dark Life. Webcomic
About a week or two ago all YMMV pages on the web comic White Dark Life were deleted because "Ymmv page created by creator of work".
I was never aware of such a rule so I apologize for breaking it, but losing the Awesome, Heartwarming, and Funny pages hit pretty hard since it helped to keep track of years of RP that had been going on under my comic. So I was hoping that these pages could be reopened for others to work on. From what I understand, as long as I personally do not edit those pages everything should be fine, right?
openDoes EFAR need a recap page? Webcomic
I was considering making a recap page for Escape from Abject Reality, since the chapters released so far have names "First Place Privileges", "A Remnant, a Glitch", and "Never Fall for Me"). I was wondering if I should make one.
openWould these reasons make a case for What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids? Webcomic
On the Wall of Text Cleanup thread, I brought up the What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids? example for Ghosts of the Future for a Hedge Trim, and then we went into a dispute over whether the fact that the creator, Evan Stanley, is an official Sonic The Hedgehog comic artist and writer is another reason the Sonic fancomic could be mistaken for kids, thus worth mentioning.
I personally think it should, since I think the fact the creator is associated with the official Sonic franchise makes it more likely for the comic to be mistaken to be as kid-friendly as the official comics, not to mention Stanley stated that some people assumed the fancomic was official. However, other tropers disagreed, as they think it's a very mundane occurrence for Promoted Fanboys to have created kid-unfriendly Staff Created Fanwork before-hand and that just because people assume it's official doesn't meant they assume it's for kids.
I'd like input from more tropers on this.
Also, should the fact that one of the pages' description on DeviantArt has a joke clearly about and mentioning Shadow having an erection? Stanley considers her DeviantArt gallery to be the main host, so I think that's part of the work and should be mentioned. (I am very paranoid about the exposure of sexual content to children, because there are laws prohibiting the deliberate distribution of obscene material to children.)
Edited by PrincessPandaTropeopen Tropes used to air greviences with creator Webcomic
The page Lily's Poke-Madhouse and Lily's Poke-Madhouse are seeing several edits by people using the page to air out their grievances with the creator regarding the trope "Write who you know"
openSubjective pages by work's creators Webcomic
I've only just recently realised that the only non-cleanup/maintenance edits to the YMMV/, Awesome/, AwesomeMusic/, Funny/, Heartwarming/, and NightmareFuel/ subpages of Webcomic.White Dark Life have been made by either Luigifan or PrinnyOverlord... who are identified on the main page as the work's co-creators.
Should they be cutlisted?
Edited by mlsmithcaopenSomeone deleted my WMG, what now?-SOLVED Webcomic
I just came back to a WMG page I had written in to find that someone had outright deleted my entry because "Word of God disproves this theory." If I'm not mistaken, the entire point of "WMG" is that they're supposed to be left-field fan theories/headcanons. I am also aware that just putting back something somebody else deleted for a justified reason is a banable offense. What do I do in this situation?
Edited by dvorakopenSplitting a very long ShoutOut page Webcomic
I've been adding to the Shout Out page Darths & Droids, which has recently starting showing the message "Warning: This article is too long. It needs to be broken into multiple pages." on the edit page.
Silly me started trying to do this: I created Darths & Droids-Films — Live-Action and then suddenly realised maybe I messed up picking a name for the subpage.
Can someone tell me what the correct naming scheme is for such subpages, and maybe can an admin move that page to the correct name? I've looked at How to Split a Page but it doesn't really answer my question, except to reinforce the fact that I've probably stuffed up. Sorry!

Which is uh a mess....
openWhy was "Webcomics of the 2020s" cut? Webcomic
Hi, I just launched a new page called Webcomics of the 2020s. Soon after it was launched, I reloaded the page and it said that it has been cut. Any idea why this would be? There are similar pages for Webcomics of the 2000s and Webcomics of the 2010s, so I'm not sure why there would be an issue with this one.
openChorsu of the Neverborn Webcomic
Could someone update the Chorus of the Neverborn threads? I just subscribed so I don't know what is the procedure for that, but the story was finished and new tropes need to be added
open I want to bring back the Stonetoss page. Webcomic
I was the page's original author, and I feel I can write the page honestly, neutrally, and objectively. I will accept whatever conditions you place on me, but I do feel the comic deserves a place on the wiki and that the article should include links to the work. Stonetoss isn't a Nazi, and neither are most of his fans.
For those of you not in the know, Stonetoss is a webcomic that deals with edgy humor, very similar to South Park. The page was cut primarily because I and some other people wrote the page a bit biased towards him, which triggered a strong but understandable reaction from people on the site. I want to rewrite the article in an unbiased way, so I respectfully request permission to do so. Thank you!
openNew webtoon to be troped Webcomic
There's this amazing webtoon called "The Boxer". I thought it was worthy of having it's own series page and character page. But it turns out that I'm not very good at troping. I was wondering if anyone could get the pages started. But that's fine if no one wants to.
Edited by ScrewedPrioritiesopenDo Fan Webcomics belong under Fan Works or Webcomics? Webcomic
I want to add the Persona 5 Adult Confidant AU to some trope pages, but since it's a Fan Webcomic of Persona 5, I'm unaware on whether or not it belongs under Fan Works or Webcomics. Can someone please inform me on which file it would belong under?
openWhy aren't more Otome Iseki's on TV Tropes? Webcomic
So other than "I Got Reincarnated As A Villainess, and All Path's Lead to Doom". Which has an amazing Anime btw.
But "Lady Rose Wants To Be A Commoner" (Adorable, Tropey, and has a wonderful story), "I'm A Villainous Daughter So I'll Keep The Final Boss" (Manga, and currently 8 Chapter LN), and I'm looking to read more. Not only are there none in the LN Stock Characters outside of All Path's Lead to Doom, but there are no separate Tropes pages for them either.
How come? And is anyone going to be making a page for them?
Edited by TheGreatEateropenSmackjeeves is closing Webcomic
The webcomic hosting site Smack Jeeves is closing at the end of December. What should be done about webcomics with trope pages that are hosted on that site?
openneed help making a page for Inhibit Webcomic
I’ve been reading the webcomic Inhibit for a few years now, and just recently found that it didn’t have a page here on TV Tropes. my problem is that, having been reading the comic for a long while, I only really remember the broad strokes of it and recent update details. is there a way for me to find someone else to collaborate on the page with me, to help find the tropes the comic contains?
Edited by audgetrouble
So the author of RayFox, ScottyArtz, personally wants the entirety of his page, Ray Fox, deleted because of something I wrote in the comment sections of a review, and potentially because he doesn't like the YMMV or headscratchers bit. Is this a legitimate grounds for the deletion of the page?
