According to the edit reason given, Magnificent Bastard and Smug Snake have undergone cleanup and the troper in question in changing the definitions to match.

As a guy who regularly posts in said cleanup-thread. That was not discussed their at all and a change like that to a tropes definition would require trs.

Do I have your approval to revert changes?
The troper has had... issues with how the Magnificent Bastard cleanup thread has gone which really came to head when he rage quit leaving an inflammatory comment that has since been thumped. He's also just taken it upon himself to cut Magneto whom the cleanup thread had approved and left a rather... excited comment in the edit reason.
Can we get some help with this one? The troper has a tendency to reappear on the thread periodically, insult the process and people working on it, leave for a while and then rinse and repeat which has gone on for literal years now.
↑↑ Yeah, please revert the changes. The troper didn't have approval to make those changes and has been incredibly aggressive on the thread, making it clear they don't intend to respect the process we've got going there.

Edit: To paraphrase, I told them to please not make unilateral changes without discussing in the fora.
He also added the following to YMMV.X Men:
- Magneto in comparatively recent years has lost just about everything that once made him a villain. Originally a genocidal, mutant supremacist terrorist, Magneto has been shown to care for abused humans along with mutants, protect them from other mutants and even give them seats on his council of Genosia. Even his moments of violence towards humans are justified by the plot always showing them as acts of self defence against human violence. Rather than wanting to exterminate humanity for the superior mutantkind, Mageto now is content with mutants and humanity living in peace and the only reason he and the X-Men are in conflict anymore is because humanity keeps Kicking The Dog and Proffesor X keeps defending them, which in turn makes Xavier look like a wide-eyed, naieve, Strawman of centrism, when in the past he used to have effectively the stance Magneto has now, making Magneto essentially a villain in name only.
Honestly can we just grab a mod? I'm getting pretty tired of this.

Yeah, to add my two cents...the user made an attempt to participate in cleanup and flamed out insulting everyone there. This seems to be pure spite editing.
They also added some...um...questionable bits to the Feminism page

It has been reverted by another user, thankfully.
More specifically, it was some flame-bait about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. (I swear, celebrity relationships piss off too many damn people on this site).

Speaking of ROCEJ violations, here is a portion of a Magnificent Bastard forum post which concerns me.

...Putting aside the fact that both dictators were different types of tyrant, and that they were both vile in vastly different ways, that statement smacks of whitewashing a tyrant at best, and bluntly, white supremacist rhetoric at worst.
This especially strikes a raw nerve because I am a descendant of Holocaust survivors.

I mean, it's not inherently bad to find one evil tyrant worse than another evil tyrant as long as you acknowledge that both were, indeed, evil tyrants.
Whelp. They have not responded to any notifiers.
^They haven’t edited for a few days; it’s entirely possible that they haven’t logged on since then.
At the very least we can say we tried to contact them.
People rarely respond to notifiers anyway; you usually just have to check back and make sure they're actually listening.

For what it's worth, has anyone linked leviathan to the ATT?
Not AFAIK. I'm generally against it if the user's behavior indicates they'll just have a flameout or attack us. Inviting people to discussion helps in some cases, but not typically ones like these.

Giantleviathan has responded to my notifiers. I am giving permission to a moderator to read the notifiers I sent them, as well as their responses.
They are still being belligerent.
Edit: To paraphrase, they claim that having a cleanup thread defeats the purpose of not deleting YMMV, that they have no respect for the cleanup thread, its members, its "hypocrisy", and whatever.

So the work page for Smug Snake was changed to have any reference to Magnificent Bastard removed on the trope description and changed to Evil Is Cool. (albeit mispelled Evil Is Cool).
This seems weird as Smug Snake was written with Magnificent Bastard in mind (i.e. its for a chessmaster whose arrogance causes their downfall) and I'm not sure such a major change to a description was approved. It also makes it read weirdly in places.
