Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Nope. This is a YMMV entry masqueraded as WMG, and it's far too early for YMMV.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaThis reminds me of this ATT made a while back.
WMG should be about the content of the work, not out of universe audience reception and controversies.
It's bad in several ways. First of all, the pothole to rule of cautious etc. isn't okay anymore; it's written in first person, which is best avoided, Secondly, the indentation seems off. One-bullet bullet point lists are a no-no.
Should I remove it?
Kill it with fire.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Yeah, I agree with removing it. Bury it deeper than Mulan buried the Huns.
I have seen a couple entries of this kind when browsing WMG subpages. I'll make sure to zap them should I spot them in my next Wiki Walk, citing this query as an edit reason.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300WMG is about the work’s content. Not reception. Cut.
I cut it.
Someone just added this to the page:
- Without Mushu and Songs, then: This is not Mulan!
Cut. WMG is about what will happen in the work, not its reception.
I've cut it again.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.
This is on the WMG page for Mulan (2020) :
I don't think this is okay, is it?
