I've been suffering from a painful lump in my throat (not a literal one, but the anxiety sensation) for several days so I was curious. I thought it was just nerves, but it's more complicated than that. Having a lump in your throat is called several things, but it's usually a "globus sensation". The feeling is due to inflammation of the throat. It can be either just annoying or it can be painful, but it's not anything dangerous. I didn't know depressed people could get it; I thought it was only something associated with anxiety disorders.

The image on Dark Fic is of an actual fic. I've looked at it for years but just thought of it as a dark fanart, until I noticed the word "Paragon" and searched it. I made a page for it a few days back: Paragon (Kim Possible).
