I finally caved in and read the first two acts of Homestuck a couple days ago. It physically exhausted me to the point I couldn't read anymore. I had to take a short nap so I could function afterwards.
But I'm enjoying it so far! My favorite character at the moment is Wayward Vagabond.

I always seem to wake up early even though I don't want to. I try to aim for 6AM but my brain's like "Nope. It's 5AM for you.". Which sux, because I'm currently sharing a bedroom with my elder brother, and I can't risk waking him up.

@moefoxes I actually understand the feeling. It's a really entertaining comic but it just takes so much effort to read through. I'm currently in the middle of Act 5.1 and I'm trying to find the motivation to pick back up (not helping is that I don't remember the page I was on).

Looking at how much positive reception the Boys and Invincible have gotten even amongst people who are tired of the genre. I know I'm not big enough to get a series for Amazon Prime but I don't know how to make my superhero story unique amongst the sea of repetition and mediocrity.
All I have so far is people with powers being hunted by the government and people not being able to fully control their powers.
Maybe make the villain be some sort of power copier who is hired to frame various super powered individuals of different crimes, justifying the government into going after them.
